Real World: Kelly Ann Defends Spitting
Kelly Ann's spit didn't know Parisa was there... What is fast becoming commonplace with this season's cast of The Real World Sydney, Kelly Ann has added a quip to her myspace page that attempts to address the preview trailer where we see her and Ashli spitting on Parisa- and seems to invoke the cl***ic "it was the editing" defense.
#1. I didn't actualy spit on parisa, at first i didn't even know she was in there.. #2. I shouldn't have been like that, i know that, i messed up. #3. As much as you may think I want to know your opinion on this subject, I really don't, but thanks
It is quite interesting that "at first" she didn't even know Parisa was there, yet feels she "shouldn't have been like that." If you didn't know she was there, then you would not have had intent and thus you shouldn't feel bad in the first place. The reality is, she probably did know Parisa was there and she did it on purpose - because of the Trisha getting kicked off incident that I ***ume prefaces this event. As for Kelly Ann not wanting anyone's opinion on this matter, to bad...lol. When you sign up to be filmed for a reality television show you are going to get other people's thoughts on your journey no matter how much you just want to put your head in the sand. It is one thing to look like an *** on television. The cohabitation environment with cameras is very different from what normal people are used to and crazy things can happen. It is an entirely different thing to defend being an ***.
If she didn't know she was there, why the freak would she spit??? Does she just go around randomly spitting off balconeys indoors? Really? What a classy gal!
If she didn't know she was there, why the freak would she spit??? Does she just go around randomly spitting off balconeys indoors? Really? What a classy gal!
Maybe this will become the new chic defense in murder cases. It will be called the "Kelly Ann Judd Defense." Defendant: Well you see Judge, I was just firing my gun randomly off the balcony -which I often do- and my wife (who I recently found out was cheating on me) happen to be in the way - I had no idea she was there! Judge: Not Guilty.
Lol, I know right??? We all know about editing, but in this case it just does not add up. We hear Ashli laughing and saying 'Does she feel threatened?? ' And I don't believe the whole 'randomly spitting indoors' explanation. Unless that's just a common thing in Texas? J/K. Anyway, I have acted like a ******* before, and I could be forgiving if she just said she was sorry without making up all these excuses that are clearly lies.
We hear Ashli laughing and saying 'Does she feel threatened??
That is the most damning part of the footage. Clearly there is intent.
Parisa needs to get checked for hepatitus pronto. kelly anne (i din't capitalize her name; that's for proper nouns and important things, she is neither) is a vile, immature, giggly ****. there's no nice way to put it. she's the most ununteresting thing on the show next to Duntard. I only like three cast members, Isaac, Parisa, and Cohutta. The rest need to be traded in for some new ones AKA decent human beings.
That is the most damning part of the footage. Clearly there is intent.
Exactly, who does that? You spit on someone, let's laugh and egg it on. GROW UP. I like to have fun, and joke, but I've never spit on another person.I mean, where I'm from, that's an *** kicking, no talking, just ***** getting kicked. Why hasn't anyone stood up for Parisa? I hope Cohutta does, he has in a past episode.
Isaac has stood up for Parisa before as well, let's hope he does so more in the future. Spitting?!?! EWWWWWW!
Parisa needs to get checked for hepatitus pronto.
I have a feeling that hepatitis is not the only "nasty" kicking around the Sydney pleasure palace. If I were Parisa I'd be ordering up a full battery of tests!
Have they already filmed the Reunion show? or is that after all of the episodes have aired on TV?
Have they already filmed the Reunion show? or is that after all of the episodes have aired on TV?
Normally they film the reunion show a few weeks before it actually airs. Being that we are only at the halfway point in the season, I am under the impression that they have not filmed it yet and probably won't for a few more weeks.
Oh ok, and will Shauvon be on it even though she left? I was trying to remember the San Diego one, and i thought they still had Frankie on it, but im not positive. I personally wish they kept Shauvon, she had her moments, but overall i think she was a sweet person. I thought i was going to like Ashli, but after the last episode, it's reeeeeeeally hard to like someone like that.

Ashli was about as bad a replacement as they could have found. I thought after episode 1 that I might like her too, but I realize now she is mentally just a tween girl in grownup body and situation.
Shavaun a sweet person?? Hmmm. I will admit at first I liked her, I thought it was cool she wrote a sex column, very Carrie Bradshaw. However, between the tantrums and jumping ship to Team Trisha so she could be one of the 'cool girls' and apparantly desperately needed the approval of a nineteen year old, I will say that she left me disappointed.
I will admit at first I liked her, I thought it was cool she wrote a sex column, very Carrie Bradshaw.
I went looking for her "sex column" after reading about her recent breakup. I figured it had to be impossible, with her minimal grasp on the English language, for her to be an actual columnist! You know what "I'am" talking about! What I discovered is she is not a "Carrie Bradshaw" but rather an amateur who wrote a few ho-hum articles one semester for a small independent paper.
I checked it out. She had zero creativity or originality in the column. Double standard, if it feels right, do it, etc. She could have come up with SOMETHING not dripping with cliches!
I checked it out. She had zero creativity or originality in the column. Double standard, if it feels right, do it, etc. She could have come up with SOMETHING not dripping with cliches!
I agree. There was not an original thought in that entire article. I am surprised the paper actual published it.
i read it also, and it was pretty boring and not very original. Is that the ONLY article shes written? the way she kept talking about it on TV i thought she created the column and wrote alot of articles. If she only wrote one article, i dont know why she even bothered to mention it.
Shauvon is more than just a buxom blonde bombshell; she is also an intellectual sex columnist for Sacramento State University's newspaper
Not only do they mention it, they lead off her biography with it! Notice the usage of intellectual? I bet the bio writer for MTV was laughing his/her *** off when they threw that line in there!
I'm so, so glad I've found this site. I literally feel dirty after watching Real World Sydney. They are abusive and awful to Parisa...(it's like reliving middle school) and no one is standing up for her properly....and I feel like this show in a way is condoning this violent, fundamentalist, homophobic, racist s**t (am I allowand to cuss on this site?) I feel like MTV is doing everyone a great disservice this year by casting people who would actually make comments like "She should learn English" or whatever that terrible Trisha comment was. And now you all are talking about how Kelly Anne spits on Parisa?!? I don't know how you all have already seen this episode, but if I see that actually happen, I may just write a nasty letter to MTV, because I'm outraged that they have chosen this happily ignorant cast... These people (minus Issac and Parisa...and I guess Cohuta) clearly represent the very worst about our country. I cringe and actually sort of want to cry knowing these people are out there--and worse, ON TV spreading their insane, narrow ideas. Ahhh!!! sorry for ranting...but I've wanted to find people who agree that Trisha etc. are just awful for weeks now. (And none of my friends watch the show.)

I know how you feel. I usually draw a bath right before I watch a new episode and then scurry into it right after, scrubbing almost rabidly with pumice while continually washing my mouth out with shampoo. Oh and swearing is allowed to an extent as long as it is needed creatively. ;)
I feel like MTV is doing everyone a great disservice this year by casting people who would actually make comments like "She should learn English" or whatever that terrible Trisha comment was.
I am actually surprised the fervor over that episode faded so quickly. It was quite easily the most unseemly thing ever spoken on the show.
Ahhh!!! sorry for ranting...but I've wanted to find people who agree that Trisha etc. are just awful for weeks now. (And none of my friends watch the show.)
As you can tell, we love ranting about the cast too, especially Trisha - so again, welcome!
Everytime I watch TRW I am more and more shocked on how these people act. I am a total MTV freak with the exception of shows like Sweet Sixteen(which make me want to vomit and slap the parents of the children they raised to be like that). I have watched Real World for longer than I can remember but this cast blows my mind. I honestly think the casting directors had a brain **** when they cast this season. Where are the diverse people? Do we really need two blondes that look alike with the exception of enormously large ***** and a brunette that might as well be blonde? Yet I still watch it every week and think that they knew exactly what they were doing. I def have to agree with Proper Noun that I am very happy to have found this site as well, it's nice to vent with people that feel the same way :)
I didn't even realize they were spitting on her when I saw the preview! How disgusting. I wish Parisa just would have kicked Trishas ***, that idiot deserves it so much. I used to kind of like Kelleyanne but I don't think I will after this episode.

In case I haven't already said it, welcome Acidand, Proper noun, EastNY, Italianvix, Kelliiee, and Spicedlatte!!! I am also glad we have gotten some like minded posters around here! Although we welcome different opinions. But we prefer like minded ones. ;) Anyway, the cast this season is so cut and dry and lacks so much depth for the most part that there's very little reasonable argument to defend Kelly Anne, Trisha and Dunbar's actions. It is so repulsive for me to think that Kelly Anne and Ashli were spitting at Parisa. Ew ew ew ew ew!!!! I wouldn't say I liked Kelly Anne, I have always thought of her as a weak minded follower, but I didn't have any major problem with her. UNTIL I SAW HER SPIT ON THE PREVIEW!!!! It's so funny that the episode hasn't even aired yet and she's already trying to make excuses for herself on her myspace page. Maybe the fact that I sent her a myspace message telling her off as soon as I saw the preview contributed to that?? Lol. I asked her if she thought she was on Flavor of Love rather than the Real World. Suprisingly, I got no response from her. ;)
I asked her if she thought she was on Flavor of Love rather than the Real World. Suprisingly, I got no response from her. ;)
*****! That is so good, thanks for the welcome! I am sooo glad I found this place, a lot of the places I had seen hated Parisa and called her fat, ugly and blahblahblah, and defended the ****** on the show. I am happy to see that other people liked Parisa and felt bad for her!
What is this blasphemous site you speak of?? I have run into very few fans that actually like the other girls on the show.... maybe it's just Shavaun and Trisha posting? ;)
What is this blasphemous site you speak of?? Almost all the people were on Trisha and thems side.
LMFAO! That is so good, thanks for the welcome! I am sooo glad I found this place, a lot of the places I had seen hated Parisa and called her fat, ugly and blahblahblah, and defended the ****** on the show. I am happy to see that other people liked Parisa and felt bad for her!
I am too! I agree with almost every post I have read, it is nice to find a board where people aren't bashing Parisa just because she is the level headed one...the only reason people bash her is because they are the ones who want to see******* and ho's on TRW instead of real people living real life the same way they would if they were at home, not like some immature 16 year old who finally got to take a trip with out thier parents there to watch them and make them act respectable. I applaud Parisa for not needing her parents to constantly remind how to be a good person.
the only reason people bash her is because they are the ones who want to see******* and ho's on TRW instead of real people living real life
I completely agree. I hear this excuse all the time, "I watch for the drama" ....blah blah. There can be plenty of drama in the lives of real people. You don't need to stock the cast with morally suspect people in order to create excitement. The Real World should be about people, issues and young adults coming of age. They should save the spring break stuff for a Jerry Springer MTV special...
