Hello, everyone, and welcome to the 1st ever "CHALLENGE" AWARDS! I'l be your host, EASmadaNave
You know, every Challenge needs a great opening credits sequence. Whether it be as simplistic as walking out of a plane or car to get to the main spot like Cutthroat or Inferno II, or just having random clips and audio spasming on the screem like Rivals and Rivals II, it just seems fitting that our first award is awarding the intros that still resonate in our minds to this day. Here are the nominees for BEST INTRO SEQUENCE.
BEST INTRO SEQUENCE.
("It's your 15 minutes of fame!") Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet III. ("What more can I say? It's your 15 minutes of fame!") / ("I know you'll never lose... what's lost inside you...") Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Battle Of The Sexes 1. ("And you're still around... so nothing's certai-ain... just let go... we-de-serve it") / ("Never get that far...") Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Gauntlet 2. ("You'll never let them say/you'll never get that far..") / ([Evan chanting; rest of cast joining in]) Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Duel II. ([cast continues chant]) / [Ill Kid - "Inferno"] Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Inferno II. [Ill Kid - "Inferno"] / ("BROOKLYN! Yo-Yo!") The Challenge: Battle Of The Seasons II. (Oh. Whou! We in the NOLA, babe!) / ("Everybody wanna be a rock... sta-ar/who's the one that's gonna win a phat... ca-ar?") Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet. ("... way, we're all here to say... what's really goin' on." [music outro])
And the award for BEST INTRO SEQUENCE goes to... "Inferno II"! Make some noise! Woo!
To me, a HUGE portion of The Challenge is the sometimes hilarious, always entertaining missions, most ofter refered to as "challenges", which gets really confusing, because the series is called The Challenge. Whether it be as simple as eating tons of ice cream to melting a big cowboy hat block of ice, to missions called "Block Party", "GIve Me Some Honey", "Hold That Pose", "Sponge Worthy", "Airheads", "Run For Your Money" and "Bottleneck Stampede", it seems like, throughout the years, the missions the Challenge cast does ranges from the most basic of concepts to the weirdest-concept missions to even missions where you have to be a brain surgeon in order to figur it out. Whether they make you laugh, make you cry, get you electrocuted or keep you glued to your TV screen, these are your nominees for MOST ENTERTAINING [CHALLENGE] MISSION.
MOST ENTERTAINING [CHALLENGE] MISSION.
"Give Me Some Honey", Battle Of The Exes. [CT: All right, don't get mad at me. / Diem: Why? / CT: I'm gonna molest you when you get up there. // Camila: Honey is one of our exports in Brazil. //Dunbar (VO): The honest part about this is I'm literally scraping honey off the no-no special places of my partner who I haven't spoken to in over a year because oh yeah, she hates me.] "Captain's Chair", Inferno 3. [TJ: All right, boys. Who was the first person sent home?/Time. Derrick. / Derrick: Tyrie. / TJ: Unfortunately... / Derrick: CT! / TJ: ... Tyrie is the wrong answer./Both of you are gonna be getting a treatment. / Cara: I don't want the treatment, TJ. / TJ: I apologize in advance for this. / Cara (VO): I got a team full of dummies, / and I have arms that don't function. And for what? NOTHIN'.] "I Scream", The Gauntlet. [Tina (VO): The very first bite is... incredible. The ice cream tastes so good. // Jonny: Yeah! Ah, you're a savage, Norm! A savage! // Looks like Real World might be in the lead by a chocolate chihp chunk, cookie-dough crunch.. // Tina (VO): I thought this mission would be so fun, but this is the grossest thing I have ever partaken in. // Theo: That's the sickest thing I've ever done. It was, like, disappeared from this world that I know into this dark, cold mint chocolate world.] "Block Party", The Ruins. [Brad (VO): Wes puts up a heck of a fight. Somehow he breaks free and runs back to the pole and at that point, I'm thinkin', "I can't believe this. We have to do this again?" // TJ: You can't give him a headlock, Kenny. / Kenny: It's not a headlock. // Susie (VO): Workiing on KellyAnne is quite a process. Johanna and I literally can't seem to move her. It's like trying to move a corpse? / KellyAnne (VO): My clothes are just, you know, my shoes are odd. Pretty much, I'm getting naked out here on the burning hot sand. It's getting pretty exciting.] "Melt With You", Battle Of The Sexes 2. [Men: 1, 2! 1, 2! / Miz (VO): We put enough pressure and enough, like, body weight, the ice'll crack and it'll fall off. / Mark: I'm an animal! / Shane: Every one of my fantasies fullfilled! Yeah! // Abram: Hey, guys, everyone, take a second, and take a look over there right now. / Dan (VO): It's basically like a rap video with a big ice cube. / Veroniva (VO): Our strategies are just so stupid. Blow and suck, blow and suck! Use your hands! // Tonya: My mouth's hot. It's really hot. / Angela (VO): I don't think she really cares what ever goes in her mouth, so this is like Tonya's VIP mission.] "Blind Man's Maze", Gauntlet III. [Johanna; Go straight, go straiight, the limbo, the limbo, the limbo. / Coral: Keep going. 3 logs, 4 logs. Got it. Got it. / Johanna: Go right, left. You're almost there. / Coral: Stright, straight, straight, straight. Not into the pole, though. / Striahgt, sraight. All right, there's the pole. / Johnny: [BLEEP] Come [BLEEP] on, dude! // Coral: Straight, straight, straight, straight. / Johanna: Now make a left! Go Straight! There's gonna be a rope in front of you. / Ryan (VO): Jillian, get it together. If we lose this challenge with four less people than the other team, that's really sad. / Frank (VO): It actually feels like we're going slow. It seems like the Veterans are beating us at this event. / Paula (VO): It's really frustrating watching Katie go, because shee looks like a zombie walksing in her sleep. It's "Night Of The Living Dead."] "Feel The Burn", Battle Of The Exes. [Johnny (VO): It's incredible, the amount of force that's being pushed against you. It makes it hard to do anything. It makes it hard to move, it makes it hard to breathe, it's like your teeth feel like they're gonna rattle out of your head. / Robin (offscreen overused bit): C'mon, guys, go! Go! Go! Go! Go! / Johnny: Co, Camila. / Camila: I can't! // Mark (VO): Robin's actually doing exceptionally well. She hasn't totally freaked out and she's not crying yet, so when she doesn't cry, everything seems to be pretty normal. / Mark: Rob... oh, my God..... I feel like I just did a Final.] "Birdfeeder", The Inferno. [Leah (VO): I cannot get over what is in my mouth. Who does that? / Jeremy (VO): I have a huge mouth, and I'm going to go and tear this up. // (horn toots) / Jeremy: Ah! AH! / David: Take this [BLEEP] thing off me! / Jeremy: I almost filled it up twice! / Timmy: You get to keep it, too. You get to take it home with you. // Abram (VO): Somebody who's doing' real bad? Guess who? It's Katie. Matter 'fact, she sucks. / Timmy (VO): Katie went about three laps and then started coughin' up cornmeal, worms, and Marlboro miles.]
Great nominees there. A lotta classics, few recent ones, really great. OK. The winner for "MOST ENTERTAINING MISSION" goes to..... "Melt With You", Battle Of The Sexes 2 ! Yeah! All right! Let's keep it moving along with more "Challenge Awards"!
A true trend-setter. A legend. Ever since he did the first Road Rules season and brought that to the Challenges, Mark Long, at any age, can dominate a Challenge just like anybody else. He's an impeccible competitor; one look no further than his work on Gauntlet 2, Duel II and Battle of The Exes. He's a first-removed retiree from the series with as much drive and spirit to play the game the way he does. Like Johnny Bananas said on the Battle Of The Exes Aftershow, "Mark's never had to come into this game as a rookie. When he started the first Challenge, he was at the top from the very beginning. He never had to come in and earn his stripes. It's was almost like his stripes were Grandfathered in.", and that's the perfect way to sum up why Mark Long is your 1st male inducted into the CHALLENGE GODS hall of fame.
** WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK WITH A WHOLE LOTTA "CHALLENGE AWARDS"! Don't click a new tab or turn off, it's just gettin' started! **
Sorry that I haven't updated this since I made it. Life, procrastination, infatuations, new friendships and a lot of other stuff has sidetracked me from getting back to work on this.
What do you readers think so far?
It's good man. keep up the good work.
I second that.
BEFORE I TYPE ANYTHING ELSE:
I'm doing the watered-down version of this now since nobody cares for my prescence on here anymore. Once I finish this (I doubt I'll get it all done this afternoon), I will not post or log on to Vevmo anymore. As a more mature man, I try to keep most of my promises that I make. If y'all are really there for me, you would try to get me to stay.
Welcome back to "The Challenge Awards".
Love, or even lust, is a two-person word. You can't match one without the other, and sometimes, over the course of a Challenge season, there's bound to be at least one romantic matchup that you would never expect. Whether it's intentional or not, whether you're that rebound, whether you're the most boring couple in America or you're the drunk one-night-stand they end up regretting in the morning, when alcohol and lust combine, it makes for one hell of a deadly combination. Here are the nominees for "MOST RANDOM HOOKUP."
And the winner is... Devyn & Big Easy from Battle Of The Seasons II !
With major arguments happening almost every season, these verbal altercations stem from beign a rookie, stealinf some potatoes, bloody noses, wanting to wrestle another woman, giving cheap shots or somebody's in a drunken rage, in most cases, they're just fed up with the other person they're arguing with. From the old to the new, it seems that when most of the Challenge cast members pick fights with each other, we will love every minute of it. These are the nominees for "MOST MEMORABLE VERBAL FIGHT".
INFERNO 1 - JULIE V CORAL, "WRESTLE"
INFERNO 1 - KATIE V VERONICA, "KATIE'S FINAL STRAW"
INFERNO II - BETH V TONYA, "INTERROGATION"
THE RUINS - WES & EVELYN V THE CHAMPOINS TEAM, "KELLYANNE/EVELYN MATCHUP"
RIVALS - CARA MARIA & LAUREL V WES & PAULA, "COLA/DEFENDING CARA/ANOREXIC *****"
BATTLE OF THE EXES - CAMILA (at JOHNNY), "WHITE-HOT DRUNKEN BRAZILIAN RAGE"
And the winner is...
KATIE VS VERONICA, "Katie's Final Straw" from The Inferno !
"I've been here longer than you and I'll be here longer than you!" Our first female CHALLENGE GODS inductee is a Challenge Grandmother, and during her run on The Challenge, she's cursed a lot of******* out, including Evelyn, Trishelle, CT and Julie. She is a proven tone-setter; one look no further than the first Fresh Meat season, where her and Evan dominated the entire first half of the season. Ever since she walked out on us six years ago on Gauntlet III, we've been begging for her to come back to the Challenges and prove, once again, taht she still knows how to bring her A-game and "she doesn't wrestle, she beats******* up". She's always been one of my favorites over the years and she's a true ****** to the Challenges. I think it's about damn time we honor her. Your 1ST inductee, CHALLENGE GODESS Coral Smith!
Being well-known in the Challenge universe is quite a feat. You've got to have everything: a physical ability to last through the ever-increasing difficulty of Challenge missions and finals, being level-headed enough to last through the game twists and strenuous politicking, having somepersonal traits about you to make an impression during the season to create some everlasting Challenge moments and a likeable personality that can apply to most of The Challenge's ever-changing viewing demographic. The nominees for MALE MVP and FEMALE MVP have had sich an impactful and indelible mark on the series that they're being combined into one big super caregory. Mush like Prom King & Queen, together for the very first time, here are the nominees for MALE & FEMALE MVP.
DARRELL TAYLOR
JODI WEATHERTON
ABRAM BOISE
SUSIE MEISTER
DERRICK KOSINSKI
EVELYN SMITH
BRAD FIORENZA-HALL
LANDON LUECK
WES BERGMANN
CARA MARIA SORBELLO
JOHNNY DEVENANZIO
LAUREL STUCKEY
EVAN STARKMAN
EMILY SCHROMM
and KENNY SANTUCCI.
And the winners are... for FEMALE MVP, Emily Schromm... and for MALE MVP, Landon Lueck!
Nothing's worse than when a cast member comes in with a pre-existing injury or recieves an injury during the season. The nominees for GNARLIEST INJURY are some of the weirdest, like Frank's pneumonia on Free Agents. Let's not forget it hurts falling from a great height into water like Katie, Chet and Aneesa have all experienced. Here are the nominees for GNARLIEST INJURY.
GAUNTLET 1 - CORAL'S SPIDER BITE
FRESH MEAT - EVAN'S HERNIA
INFERNO 3 - TIMMY'S SHATTERED KNEECAPS
THE ISLAND - ABRAM'S PANAMANIAN KILLER WASPS STINGS
THE RUINS - SHAUVON'S BUSTED IMPLANT (*tie counterpart: 5 votes)
CUTTHROAT - KATIE - *****-SLAPPED BY WATER (on "Bedheads" mission)
And the winner is... Timmy's shattered kneecaps from Inferno 3 !
As he puts it himself, he's AWESOME. And there's no denying that. He's been the drivign force behind my favorite early seasons: The Gauntlet, The Inferno, Battle Of The Sexes 2 and Inferno II. Whether it be his ability to win Life Shields left and right to his determination to win every Final Challenge he's ever done, that determination and his amazing Challenge work is why we're honoring hin tonight. He even came back to the Challenges a bit, hosting the Rivals Aftershow and the Battle Of The Exes Reunion. It's blatant to us Challenge fans that if he brought his WWE ********** back to The Challenge, all of us hardcore fans would be ecstatic. It's so obvious that THE MIZ phoenomenon has now encompassed all aspects of our childhoods and we thank you. The 2ND inductee to CHALLENGE GODS, here he is, Mike "THE MIZ" Miz-a-nin!
It seems that ever since The Real World and The Challenge gained popularity, there have been certain cast members who've gone on it hoping that they can prove themselves to be competitors to be reckoned with... but have turned out to be more of a laughingstock. Hate to say it, but this category honors the best of the worst. Here are the nominees for ********* PLAYER.
CAMARAN [Battle Of The Sexes 2 & Gauntlet 2]
CASEY [Fresh Meat 1, The Duel, Gauntlet III & The Ruins]
BIG EASY [Gauntlet III & Battle Of The Seasons II]
SHAUVON [The Ruins & Cutthroat]
KATELYNN [Fresh Meat II & Rivals]
and NATE [Battle Of The Seasons II]
AND THE WINNER IS... Shauvon from The Ruins and Cutthroat !
I know we're having a lot of fun tonight, but I would like to take things down a bit.
Recently, The Challenge has lost a great competitor and case member, Fresh Meat 1's Diem Brown. She passed away from her long battle with cancer on November 14, 2014. I know that a tribute of this magnitude might be a little bit too much to give to her, but she's given a lot to us as viewers in terms of letting us inside her world and inside her story. From her six Challenge appearances to her charity work, Diem truly was as kind and as caring a person as ever. We've seen her vulnerable side throughout the Fresh Meat and Duel seasons, we've seen her be fun and crazy with her "patented hair flip" as "Diem In The P.M." throughout the Duel II and Battle Of The Exes seasons. She's showed us her determination with her many elimination round battles against Challengers like Tonya on The Ruins and Jenn on Duel II, and let's not forget her great performance during the Viking Quest Battle Of The Exes Final Challenge. She had something every Challenge cast member needed to have: that fighter's spirit. She fell in love on the show with CT on her second season she did, The Duel, andthe CT & Diem soap opera began. Since coming into the reality TV status-sphere, she has been a positive influence on everybody who's interacted with her during her run on The Challenge and a positive role model for female viewers struggling to fight their own bout with cancer. As her Challenge run comes [came] to a close with Battle Of The Exes II, let's all rememberto take the battles Diem has fought for, be brave to our causes and continue to fight through our diseases. Looking back on her amazing work on The Challenge, I'm reminded of a quote she made on her very first season, Fresh Meat, in regards to the first time she had to battle ovarian cancer: "If I can make it through this challenge, I can totally do the next... I want to be able to do everything physical now". I would like to have a few moments of silence for everybody to quickly mourn the loss of Diem.
Thank you, and let's continue on with more Challenge Awards.
Awesome.
fwiw i CARE. Some people here have elitism and favortism
Fighting. As a Challenge rule, it's the ultimate in breakage. Whether it be arguing about who banged who, who said what, who got drunk, who spat in who's face, or maybe they just had it out for the other person, i think everybody can agree that this drama makes a hell of a dramatic reality TV moment. These are the 8 most memorable altercations in the show's history so far... so here are the nominees for MOST MEMORABLE PHYSICAL FIGHT.
BATTLE OF THE SEXES 1 - DAVID "PUCK" RAINEY V DAVE EDWARDS - SPIT IN MY FACE!
THE DUEL - TINA V BETH - WAIST DEEP SHOWDOWN
DUEL II - CT V ADAM K. - SMASH HIS HEAD AND EAT IT!
THE RUINS - TONYA V VERONICA - **** OR ****** (CLEAN VERSION: LET'S CALL A SPADE A SPADE)
THE RUINS - BRAD V DARRELL - YOU THINK YOU'RE TOUGH NOW, SON? (PROVE YOUR TOUGHNESS)
CUTTHROAT - JOHNNY V THE PRAGUE LOCALS - BATHROOM BRAWL
RIVALS - ADAM R. V TY - BULLSHIT TO PUSHIT (OPEN FIST
and BATTLE OF THE EXES - TYRIE V JASMINE - KISS MY BLACK *** [previously a nominee for "Verbal Fight"]
AND THE WINNER IS... (if you haven't guessed it by now)... CT versus Adam on Duel II . Congrats, guys.
David is such a tool! he should be embarrassed for letting Puck get to him the way he did. Like for real.
She was once referred to as one of the meanest******* on The Challenge. She is the true trailblazer of the seires, and was the first to implicate such reality game show concepts as throwing missions and forming alliances... at least in this series. Veronica Portillo's Gauntlet, Inferno 1 and Inferno II seasons are the prime examples. She has ways of masterminding the game and sometimes the tone of the entire season... and Veronica's racked up quite a rival run sheet, including Beth, Katie, Julie and Tonya. If she had appeared on more seasons after The Ruins she would've gotten her spark back and still proved to everybody what a bad ***** she really is. Your 2ND inductee into CHALLNENGE GODESS, Veronica Portillo!
Every few seasons, there's team seasons where the team is trying to get rid of a player on their team or trying to help the other team get rid of a player, and it's almost always going to be when they're trying to throw a challenge. Whether it's intentional or not, or just to be a **** to the person who's being expendable, this one's for the most hilarious missions that the Challenge cast threw, whether they were successful or not. Here's the nominees for BEST CHALLENGE-THROWING MISSION.
INFERNO 1 - BALCONY SWING - ROAD RULES TEAM; ABRAM
INFERNO 3 - GIRAFFIC PARK - GOOD GUYS TEAM; CARA (FOR SUSIE)
GAUNTLET III - ASSEMBLY REQUIRED - VETERANS TEAM
GAUNTLET III - OVER THE EDGE - VETERANS TEAM
GAUNTLET III - CHILL OUT - VETERANS TEAM; ADDITIONAL DRAMA BY DANNY
THE RUINS - CHAIN GANG - WES [his plan failed]
and RIVALS - CATCH AND RELEASE - EVAN ["don't tell Nehemiah"]
AND THE WINNER IS... Abram for "Balcony Swing" from Inferno 1. I'd say congratulations, but... as I recall, you have a strong dislike for taking credit for throwing missions.
It's aleays a treat when one of your favorite Challenge cast members makes a good first entrance to a Challenge season, but bringing one on to give your ratings a good spike makes a better one. As a wise man recently said, "after fighters are sent home, a greater replacement soon will follow." From CT & Tina to MJ and Nehemiah, here are the nominees for SHOCKING RE/PLACEMENT.
INFERNO 3 - DERRICK (replacing CT)
DUEL II - MJ & Nehemiah (replacing CT & Adam K.)
FRESH MEAT II - EVELYN (replacing JonnA)
CUTTHROAT - CT & TINA [GULAG ONLY]
and RIVALS II - CARA MARIA (replacing Naomi)
AND THE WINNER IS............ CT and Tina for Cutthroat !
He's a true Challenge Veteran with a passion for winning, a hunger for victory and a dash of comedy. Whether he's competing on The Challenge, Bravo's Battle Of The Network Reality Stars or Comedy Central's Reality Bites Back, Theo Von has always been a unique and bright competitor. Theo's had many series romances with the likes of Elka, Sarah G. and Linette, to name a few. It's also his semi-comedic cockiness during his interviews, challenges and eliminations that we remember the most from Theo. All I have to say is if his run on Reality Bites Back has anything to call for, like his diving tribute to Amelia Earhart, then it's obvious why Theo's being inducted into CHALLENGE GODS. Here he is, your 3RD inductee, Theo Von!
It's those ever-so-funny moments that we can't help but R.O.T.F.L.O.L. every single time we watch them. From a hilarious take on a fashion show or someone digitally getting thier head cut off to people saying crazy things during the mission, about the game or about the funniest injury to happen in the series to even making fun of somebody for cruel but comedic reasons, whatever the case may be, the votes are in and here are your nominees for FUNNIEST SCENE.
BATTLE OF THE SEXES 1 - RACHEL - THIS GAME AND THE INNER CIRCLE IS UGLY
INFERNO 1 - JULIE VS VERONICA - "GROPE THE ROPE"
INFERNO II - JULIE - "THE ROAD TO GOD IS STRAIGHT AND NARROW" (from the mission "Time To Ride")
GAUNTLET III - KATIE'S HIGHLIIGHT REEL
DUEL II - DUEL II FASHION SHOW
THE RUINS - SHAUVON BUSTS IMPLANT
RIVALS - KENNY MARIA
and FREE AGENTS - DEVYN'S WIG R.I.P.
AND THE WINNER IS... Katie's highlight reel from Gauntlet III ! Congratulations, I guess, to Katie for this win.
Whenever Bunim/Murray Productions ever decides to bring back all the old Challenge Veterans for the Senior Citizens Challenge, you better guarantee that this next inductee would HOUSE the season. She's none other than Rachel. Rachel and Veronica have been best friends throughout their run on this series, and Rachel's been involved with Abram, Aneesa and Jenn romantically. In seasons such as Battle Of The Exes and Duel II, Rachel still proves that she's a strong female competitor, if not the strongest female competitor that's ever graced this series. From the old seasons to the new, this fierce (********?) proves, without a doubt, that working out never goes out of style. Here's your 3RD inductee for CHALLENGE GODESS, Rachel Robinson!
Ever since T.J. Lavin made his Challenge-hosting debut on Gauntlet 2, he's had some out-of-host-character moments towards some cast members that just can't be forgotten. From the women for "Hammock Crawl" on Rivals to Katelynn & Brandon on Fresh Meat II, there's just a tiny stain on the huge rap sheet that is TJ's hosting run on The Challenge. Here are the nominees for TJ'S POOR SPORT AWARD.
GAUNTLET 2 - CAMERAN
GAUNTLET 2 - BETH
THE ISLAND - DAVE
THE ISLAND - ASHLI (DELIBERATION)
FRESH MEAT II - KATELYNN & BRANDON
FRESH MEAT II - EVELYN
CUTTHROAT - SHAUVON ("You want respect for quitting?")
and BATTLE OF THE SEASONS II - BIG EASY
AND THE WINNER IS...... Evelyn from Fresh Meat II. The next time someone calls another person a 4-year-old... you'll know where that term came from.
So, what do you think so far?
If this were to have been on a grander scale (i.e. resources opening up to me enough to have made an actual televised-type award show), would you have been able to pitch in, or at the very least, watch it?
The MAIN SHOW is aproximately about a little more than halfway through.
Still to come: CT, an IN MEMORIUM to Knight, the Lucky Rookie Award, Ultimate Betrayal, and the big awards, Most Memorable Moment Of The Series and Best Season Finale, all coming up on "The Challenge Awards".
WOOOHOOOO
This is cool.
I'd like to honor another Challenge loss: Knight. Kinght will also be the second Challenge cast member to have Battle Of the Exes II be the last season he has done. Knight was pronounced dead at 29 on Thanksgiving morning of last year, but I think we should all be thankful that we're all still here, and it's clear to all of us hard-core Challenge fans who've been with the series since the early 2000s and the new generation fans who've watched since Real World: Back To New Orleans that this is a hard real-life reality pill we all have to swallow. He will be remembered to me on The Challenge as the ******* cast member who you can't help but love at times. He's shown his ability to be a complete *********, like pulling a "Tonya" on Battle Of The Seasons II by throwing Nany's laundry and wardrobe into the pool. He did show another side of him that season: his abillity to be the Dr. Phil of the Challenge house, trying to help mend the relationship between Random Hookup winners Devyn & Eric. There's also his rocky romance rivalry with Jemmye and his Real World rivalry with Preston. I'd like to offer a joke or phrase or lesson here: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, but what you think makes you stronger might just kill you. Knight, in a way, we'll miss you on The Challenge. We wish noting but the best for your Challenge friends, your extended Real World and viewing family. Thank you.
He is, without a doubt, one of the most controversial Challengers of all time. He's one of those rare Challengers who sort of had his sriped Grandfathered in. He played his first season, Inferno 1, as slick and as ruthless as if he's been doing these things forever. Since then, he's become one of The Challenge`s most feared competitors. He's a mix of everything: he's a fight-starting *********, punching Davis and threatened to hit Kennyon Inferno 3, and finally coming to a head with Adam on Duel II, and he's also a Bond-style lover, making moves on Fresh Meat alums Diem, Mandi and Laurel. He's become my personal favorite male Challenge cast member to grace the show. I've written a song parody about him and he's even given me a birthday shout-out via Twitter. Whether he's dragging Big Easy along on Gauntlet III or having Diem drag him along during Battle Of The Exes, Christopher "C.T." Tamburello is proof why Bunim/Murray should invite older Veteran cast members for these shows. Ladies and gentlemen, 4TH male recipient of CHALLENGE GODS, GIVE IT UP FOR C-TIIIZZLELLLLLLEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
You know, the reason I made this award show is because I wanted to get to know people's honest and differing opinions on the show that I watched religiously since 2003, and throughout my personal Challenge-watching experience, some of the worst season finales that come to my mind are Gauntlet 2, The Island, The Ruins and Gauntlet III. Whether it's disappointing letdowns, personal Challengers falling flat, the team you were rooting for not winning or, in The Island`s case, the edit of the final episode not feeling like a "Finale" episode, it seems every time it gets close to re-watching the Finale, it makes me want to fast-forward to the Reunion Special instead. These are the nominees for MOST DISAPPOINGING SEASON FINALE.
GAUNTLET 2 - BET YOUR BOOTY - (I was rooting for the Veterans)
GAUNTLET III - ARMY STRONG FINAL CHALLENGE - (Rooting for the Veterans - sad for Big Easy)
THE ISLAND - FINAL OUTRIGGER RACE - (didn't really feel like a final challenge with how the episode was edited)
THE RUINS - FINAL CHALLENGE - (didn't tape it because I was in the middle of a house move)
BATTLE OF THE EXES - VIKING QUEST - (I was rooting for CT & Diem to win)
and BATTLE OF THE SEASONS II - FINAL CHALLENGE - (rooting for ANY TEAM ELSE other than Team San Diego to win)
And the MOST DISAPPOINTING SEASON FINALE is... Battle Of The Seasons II !
