Ty recalls, "When I first saw Emily, I was immediately attracted to her and we ended up hooking up for a pretty long time. But eventually, our love turned completely to hate." That hate culminated with Emily spitting in his face. Later on Cutthroat, a prank by Emily set Ty off and caused him to trash Emily's bed in a fit of anger. And when Ty lost his Cutthroat elimination, his then - teammate Emily declared that she hoped to never be on a team with Ty again. However, on Battle Of The Exes, Ty will be Emily's one and only teammate -- and it has Emily worried, as she explains, "Ty has the build and the muscles, but that's all for show. When he gets down to it, he never follows through. I don't even know if we're going to make it past one challenge!" We'll see if these bickering exes can best Emily's grim prediction.
MTV Shows
Perfect abs... him and Emily could be on the cover of a workout magazine lol
I actually really like Ty, I hope he and Emily go far!!
I actually really like Ty, I hope he and Emily go far!!
We're probably the only ones lol
I like Emily a lot and I don't mind Ty as much as most people do. I'll probably root for them just because they're the only team I have an overall positive opinion of. Most of my favorites (Johnny, Paula, Mark, Diem, Leroy) have a partner that I'm not as fond of.
We're probably the only ones lol
Haha definitely
We're probably the only ones lol
I don't dislike him, but he's not one of my favorites. His antics on getting someone heated up can be amusing at times.
Lol, I'm glad Emily told him straight to his face that she's a better competitor. And wth Ty, you're messing with a 50 yr old?
I find it very funny that many people say that Adam R. was sent home from Rivals for "punching" Ty in the face. It was just a slap, and like Derrick said somewhere: "It looked like a butterfly landed on Ty's face and was giving him kisses."
He's got a nice body.

And accurate.

You know what I just realized, Ty said "I know what it takes to win one of these and I'm here to do it again" Did I miss something or did he get someone else's script? lol
LOL, JG, I totally thought the same thing.
I like Ty on the challenge because while some people can mean drama in an annoying way, I think Ty means drama in an interesting way. He's got an amazing partner, if he takes care of himself, maybe he won't gas out again. Johnny Bananas said that on Cutthroat he wasn't eating anything!
Brandon said on Derrick's podcast that Ty has an alter ago named Tyra, who is a total diva. Apparently everyone is aware of it except for Ty himself. Hahaha.
I think he has the second best female in the game. The best is Rachel(who is severly handicapped on the all female team), so he has a chance, I guess , but hopefull he has learned from the past 2 and worked on endurance and keeping his head straight. When I saw him on DC i thought he would be a presence in these challenge, so far he has yet to impress.
Big Props on his perfomrance in todays episode. Really had a great showing.
Big Props on his perfomrance in todays episode. Really had a great showing.
Great compared to Cutthroat but he was still real gassed at the end and like Abram said he could have kept going as his energy was fine and he doesn't even train. I am curious to see Ty in a brutal, long final.
I haven't seen the dome yet but he was up against Abram and Abram is a lil firecracker, short but full of heart and this animalesque strength. I think he's doing [strike]good[/strike] well so far.
I'm definitely rooting for him and Emily. She seems to have him somewhat under control this season (I hope). Perhaps I will continue to enjoy seeing him on the challenges, having a similar effect being Ev's partner had for Paula on Rivals.
Ty is lucky to be paired with the strongest female in the game. Don't think they can win the final though, he really doesn't have that much endurance. However, I still cannot believe he beat Abram :(
I'm absolutley loving Ty this challenge. I really wanted him and Emily to win since day 1. Maybe it's because I actually liked real world D.C. unlike most people, but I don't think he has the stamina to finish a long final. However, has anyone seen the episode 7 sneak peak? Tys giving advice to Diem about C.T. and I think it shows Ty in a very good light. He just seams to be more grown up on this Challenge.
This season is pretty much a Ty coming out party. If he has the interest I think he has a free pass to get on any challenge he qualifies for here on out. He is like a new man this year on TV. Total 180 from the guy we have seen before. I heard he didn't like how he was behaving on TV in the past so I am happy he got to pull a CT and improve his image and modify his behavior. Good job.
Ty has impressed me from a character standpoint (he is not longer a colossal *********) As a competitor, he has improved (or finally playing up to his potential) I honestly thought he'd lose his heat to Abram in the 5th elimination, and I thought Dunbar would beat him in the 7th, and he beat those guys, and even decisively won one of the rounds against Abram. Obviously he has benefited from having the best girl partner (I think Rachel is the best, but she is essntially the "male" partner in her team), but he has done more than carry his own weight. Let's see how well he does in this final with Emily.
I'm impressed, he went a whole season without threatening to beat up and getting aggressive towards women.
We haven't seen the reunion yet ;) Maybe old Ty comes back.
