Survivor: Nicaragua - Spoilers
Former Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson is apparently one of the cast members on this season. Source: Former Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson to be a contestant on 'Survivor: Nicaragua' - ESPN Dallas
TDT has also confirmed Holly Hoffman, a 44 year old pageant director from South Dakota to be on the show, and seems to have confirmed Bill Cisco, a 51 year old IT consultant. This is from missyae on Sucks:
This season will pit a group of 40 years and older players against a group of 30 years and younger players. The yellow tribe is named LaFlor and their players are 30 and under. The blue tribe are the 40 and older players and their tribe name is Espada. The rumors about the machtor originally from Denver and now living in California is true, he is there. The rumor about Holly Hoffman is true, she is there. The rumor about Ex-Dallas Cowboys football coach Jimmy Johnson is true, he was on the 40 and over tribe but did not last long at all. Look for a merge at 12. Yes, I will have more info, including a boot order.
***!!!!! Why would Jimmie Johnson do this with all of his clout in football and everything he has done. First someone would recognize him and realize who he is and that he has CRAZY money. Second he is on a competing network (FOX) than the show Survivor. All in all I'm calling shenanigans until there is a preview with him in it.

Taj on Tocantins was married to Eddie George (although people clearly wouldn't know that by looking at her...it definitely came out during the season).
That isn't even close to the same thing Jimmie is on National television every week when the NFL season is going. (He is apart of the panel for fox) There is no way, no one wouldn't recognize him as he also won 3 super bowls as a coach. He is so much MORE famous and has more MORE money than those 2 it's insane. How can you compare a wife of a player and a guy who hasn't played in a LONG time to Jimmie Johnson. Again I'lll say I call shenanigans until I see a preview.

TDT has added Kelly Bruno (26), a female amputee, triathlete, and medical student from Durham, NC to the list for season 21.
This is going to be an awesome season but I do feel like Jimmie will either the first to go or last.
Per missyae, this is the full cast list
Espada (blue buffs) 40 and over Jane Bright Holly Huffman Yve Rojas Dr. Jill Behm Wendy Jo Desmidt-Kohlhoff Tyronne Davis Coach Jimmy Johnson Jimmy Tarantino Marty Piombo Daniel Lembo LaFlor (yellow buffs) 30 and under Kelly Bruno Brenda Lowe Na'onka Mixon Alina Wilson Kelly Shinn Judson Birza 'Fabio' Shannon Elkins Chase Rice Ben Henry Matthew Lenahan 'Sash O' Frash'
Another interesting fact that missyae provided: 8 of the 10 people on the Espada tribe (with the exception of Marty and Yve) applied, while the La Flor tribe only had 2 (Matthew and Kelly) who applied.

Are they inspiring actors/actresses or something?
So how did the other people get their spots? Are they inspiring actors/actresses or something?
They were recruited.
Other miscellaneous spoilers: Missy said Chase falls hard for a girl. Blackwhale stated it is Brenda. Missy's generic comments on the cast:
Alina - very strong worker and competitive Kelly B - strong worker and competitor and very smart Brenda - Strong worker and competitor Na'onka - lazy at camp but likes to compete Kelly S - Lazy, wants to quit, useless at camp Chase - strong competitor, soft and quiet Ben - Likes to compete, great around camp Shannon - Strong competitor, comical, straight forward Judson 'Fabio' - not very strong but hilarious at camp 'Sash O' Frash' - Weak, useless at camp Marty - good competitor, good at camp, loves to dig Jimmy J - unexpected fisherman, nice guy Jimmy T - Too competitive for older tribe Danny - Weak competitor but loves Playboy bunnies! Tyronne - Strong competitor, socially weak Jane - Great competitor and worker Holly - Good competitor, weak minded, loose cannon, tick.tick.tick. Jill - Great competitor and strongest female Yve - Dynamite comes in small packages! Wendy Jo - Still getting the hang of planet Earth
Missy also insinuated that the young tribe has the numbers advantage when they do a tribe switch relatively early in the game. The old tribe would have done well if challenges were physical, but they weren't. And:
No Exile Island. One tribal shake-up pretty early. Clues to the hidden immunity idol were found on day 1, I think by a water well but finding the idol itself, lots harder this time around. Two girls have the first clue to where it is. One double boot.
Also stated Holly is a "ticking bomb" which coincides with some random spoiler from youtube that Holly is the first boot. The youtube spoiler also states Jimmy T & Jimmy J as early boots, and Dan as the first jury member. A couple people go on immunity runs.
Dont you still have to "apply" if you are recruited? It just greatly increases your chances (if not gives you a spot)? I know Matty (gabon) and Frosti (China) were both recruits and made still made application vids.

I know Matty (gabon) and Frosti (China) were both recruits and made still made application vids.
From what I understand (and I work with a former Survivor contestant but don't feel comfortable saying who), when casting directors "recruit" people to be on the show they still have to go through the casting process, which would include making a casting video. Basically, if you're approached, it means they're going to consider you, whereas they basically never tap into the actual applications anymore.
Missy feels the following 11 castmembers will somehow be memorable: Kelly Bruno Shannon Elkins Holly Huffman Danny Lembo Naonka Mixon Kelly Shinn Jill Behm Chase Rice Sash O Frash (Matthew) Fabio (Judson) Brenda Lowe Also keeps alluding to a couple major "Survivor firsts" this season. The following did NOT make missy's list: Alina, Ben, Jane, Jimmy J, Jimmy T, Marty, Tyrone, Wendy Jo, Yve

Missy has said that Holly is not the first boot, but that it is a female. Also said that most considered Jill to be the strongest female in the game and that the old tribe does not get picked off too early. Ooberfan said that Shannon's boot will be "the greatest Tribal Council we've ever had". Also, *********** at sucks has posted some pictures of what appear to be challenges. missy says Holly fills Dan's $1600 shoes with sand and throws them in the water Someone else posted that Sash/Brenda/Naookna form a minority alliance that does not last long, and says that Sash is racist against white people. Blackwhale from season 20 is back and says that prejury boots are 6 old people and 2 young people, the jury is 5 young people and 4 old people, which leaves 3 young people as the final 3.

Have they not learned anything?
Who brings $1600 shoes to Survivor? Have they not learned anything?
Didn't one guy actually wear an Armani suit once??
Didn't one guy actually wear an Armani suit once??
Yes, but that was Pearl Islands when they had no idea they were being marooned with what they were wearing (I'm pretty sure they were being told they were going to take press pictures).
So far Sandra is 3 for 3 in terms of being predecesed/followed by young hot female winners. Sounds like she might be able to go 4 for 4 if its true that the final 3 are all young.
Someone at Sucks said "Brenda, Na Onka and Sash form a minority alliance but it doesn't last long" Based on how African-American women generally do in this game, plus the mention of Brenda/Chase...perhaps a safe guess to say Na Onka is an early boot? EDIT: Although didn't someone say Sash was useless around camp?
Blackwhale at sucks said "In other news, here's a little clue: in the premerge 'sandwich,' Espada is the 'meat' to La Flor's 'bread'" To me...this means that the first and last pre-merge boots are from La Flor, with the rest being from Espada.
According to missyae, in the jury phase of the game, after the double boot: One girl backstabs an ally, helps vote them out, and then quits the next morning Another girl quits the day after quitter #1 They are probably still allowed on the jury Brenda is NOT one of the quitters.

Seriously? What is the point of that? Why would ANYONE go through this and then quit?
Re: the medallion of power, per missy:
...all this begins in episode 1. The players walk in to join Jeff Probst. They have already been divided into 2 teams, but not the old vs young. Jeff talks about the Medallion but does not tell them exactly what power it will hold.... The first challenge is for the Medallion. Brenda Lowe's team wins the Medallion as she is the player who takes possesion of it during the challenge. At that point Jeff then splits them into the old vs. young tribes so the Medallion goes to the young tribe. However, Jeff gives them the option to give the Medallion to the old tribe in exchange for flint. After a quick meeting and deciding nobody could make fire, they choose to take the flint and give the Medallion to the old tribe....
She also said the double boot comes before the quitters, and the amazing thing is how far the quitters came. I'm really hoping that they weren't F6/F5 quitters or anything that late. She ALSO said that neither of the Kellys are the first boot, in addition to Brenda not being the first boot. So the first boot is either Alina or Na Onka. I'm leaning toward Na Onka.
