Amazing Race: Ep. 5 - I Think We're Fighting the Germans, Right?
I Think We're Fighting the Germans, Right? Teams travel to France, where A World War I reenactment — complete with air attacks, gunfire and explosions — tests the Racers' nerves, and one Team finds that their cocky attitude may cost them dearly when a Blind U-Turn comes into play. Ugh, I'm not a fan of Joe. And it looks like none of the other teams are either...
Brent's eyes kind of creep me out.
Ugh, I'm not a fan of Joe. And it looks like none of the other teams are either...
I could totally go for a fresh baguette and some brie cheese right now, heh.
Brent's eyes kind of creep me out.
Oh ya, he is hitting some sort of powder...
I could totally go for a fresh baguette and some brie cheese right now, heh.
I would've asked for some butter, haha.
Oh ya, he is hitting some sort of powder...
No, that's Louie :D
No, that's Louie
Haha, oh ya, I forgot.
Yikes, Jeff and Jordan are a good 3 hours behind the first place team.
You have to give it to the producers of this show and it is no accident they win best reality show every year...they go all out with the theatrics! (i.e. planes, trenches, troops, fake bombs, etc.)
Yikes, Jeff and Jordan are a good 3 hours behind the first place team.
And without a flight to bring teams together, they could very well be done for... Edit: There has to be something here to bring teams together or you would think that the producers would not have had the non elimination leg where it was, right?
And without a flight to bring teams together, they could very well be done for... Edit: There has to be something here to bring teams together or you would think that the producers would not have had the non elimination leg where it was, right?
Well, there is the U-Turn.
Well, there is the U-Turn.
True. Good to see Joe get turned...but it won't take them three hours to do the other task.
"Look honey! They're in some sort of flying things!" Um...those are called planes.
Good to see Joe get turned...but it won't take them three hours to do the other task.
You never know...Morse Code can be a *******.
That would be such a fun detour. I really don't think Jeff and Jordan will come in last again, that would just be too obvious.
You never know...Morse Code can be a ************] Let's hope. I'd like to see Jeff and Jordan stick around for at least another week.
Ok...they have a code book. It can't be that hard...
It's not looking good for Jeff and Jordan. They aren't even at the detour yet... Joe and Heidi can't be stupid to not realize it's the exact same clue, can they?
"Smart people do Morse code. Dumb people do this..." For once in this game, she is right. ;)
Haha, nice mustache Allie!
Joe and Heidi can't be stupid to not realize it's the exact same clue, can they?
Oh, they look to be that stupid, lol. However, their after action interview is too chipper for them to have bit it this round. Has there been a Jeff/Jordan "confessional?" I think the writing is on the wall.
"I don't like guns, I like swords." There are always so many good lines with this show, haha.
"I don't like guns, I like swords." There are always so many good lines with this show, haha.
Do I look like Lance Armstrong...or do I look like Lance Armstrong?
Oh ****. Caite could have really used a map in this situation. :D
Do I look like Lance Armstrong...or do I look like Lance Armstrong?
Ya, that was another good one. This show is a wellspring of one liners.
Hmm...well editing has made it seem that Jordan and Jeff have at least caught up, but the speed bump isn't helping. Either way, it doesn't look good for whatever team makes it out alive this week. They are way behind.
Hmm...well editing has made it seem that Jordan and Jeff have at least caught up, but the speed bump isn't helping. Either way, it doesn't look good for whatever team makes it out alive this week. They are way behind.
Oh wow, they are really there at the same time!
Oh snap...I didn't realize that they totally missed the clue box at the bottom of the hill.
Wow, so basically they'll be biking a total of 12 miles. Four there, four back, and four to the finish again. That suckssssss.
Oh snap! They've caught up!! Gonna come down to the bike ride...which won't be good on Joe's knee.
Oh my gosh...no way they're just gonna give up. How could they be so dumb? Once I heard it was "Vive le" something I would've automatically thought it was the same as the other detour. Doesn't hurt to try it... EDIT: OK, so maybe it's not the same thing. But it's not THAT difficult.
I'm sorry, I can't take any of them seriously with those ridiculous mustaches on.
