It's Getting Serious
A pizza fight between Ashley and Andrew escalates from silly to serious. Ashley relives her past after a fight with Andrew.
I'm gonna keep it real here. I think Ashley needs to chill. She started it. She thought it would be funny to put pizza in his bed and whined when he did the same to her.
"I'm doing this completely for me."
Everything she's done up to this point this season has been completely for her.
I don't think going to a hotel was necessary when the main culprit of the drama was in bed.
Ugh, even if he did give her a little push, how can you feel like a guy that wears panda and skunk hats is a threat to you?
Regardless of what happened in her past, I really think she just wants a little more attention and camera time.
lol at the Tea Party protesters.
Ashley is overreacting. They were just laughing and smiling and having fun. Tami/David, much?
Tami: "It wasn't not funny, okay??"
Ashley is really grating, and she's definitely out for attention.

Yeah...Ash is starting to get on my nerves too. Ugh. I understand most of this is cuz of her past, but still. idk
I think mtv cameras are banned in a lot of places in NY, that and the rw kids apparently have a bad reputation, which is probably why certain clubs and places don't want them there.
What are Callie and Erika on about? How is Ashley good at dealing with confrontation at all? If anything, her theatrical behavior is the opposite of how to deal with the situation.
Concerning what Andrew said, thats such a guy thing. Thats why they have emotional problems, they bottle it up. Hope he eventually opens up to at least one of the roommates.

Through personal experience, it's hard to open up to anyone when you think that everyone is full of **** (usually, they are).
Thoughts after Episode 6:
Andrew: Was only playing the game Ashley had started. I would have laughed off the situation too.
Ashley: And the biggest overreaction in Real World history goes to.....
Callie: Adore her.
Emily: Wasn't on much tonight, but LOL'd when she said "Are you joking?" or something along those lines when Callie told her Ashley left for the night.
Erika: I really like her. Next week should be interesting.
Josh: Seriously...who?
Mike: Love him.
Ty: Not on much tonight, but I like him.
Episodes are getting better and better.
Ashley is the biggest failure in RW History. She mad herself look like an *** with her reaction to Andrew shoving her and running after her with a pizza box. Attention *****!-_-
Mike is so awkward I swear.
Ashley is probably the most overly dramatic person I've seen (granted, editing hasn't done her any favors by any means...but still, she gave them all of this footage). Week in and week out she never fails to be so unnecessarily dramatic that it just boggles my mind.
Oh -- and I just watched the sneak peek for Episode 7. It appears Ashley will have to wait another week to win me over. Team Erika over here.
Andrew to me seems with that line about if you have been hurt, you don't tell others should he may have a deep serious side. If that will come out though is a completely different thing. Andrew was also right in that she over reacted so that the people in the house would take her side and he would be seen as the bad guy.
I thought it was funny when he was talking about the standoff and said he could go 3 months without talking to her.
It really annoys me that Ashley had absolutely no problem putting the pizza in Andrew's bed (for what reason by the way? Because I don't remember hearing one) but then when he does it to her it's the end of the world. So far Ashley is really the only one who has gotten on my nerves so far this season.
I think I've seen the biggest overreaction to an overreaction in the history of this forum! Haha...
Sure, Ashley instigated the chain of events - but that does not in any way exonerate Andrew's actions. While Ashely may have overreacted to being pushed by Andrew, I think it is perfectly understandable that a trigger was set off inside her and she was not reacting to what was happening, but what might happen (even though with Andrew, no reasonable person would consider it would escalate beyond that point, from what we know.)
Andrew was certainly on the right side of the initial argument by wanting to retaliate, but he approached it in an overtly physical manner, which in the case with Ashely was beyond the comfort zone which she has a right to, as a human being and as a woman.
He could have found more fitting retaliation that did not involve pushing, no matter how playful he felt it was at the time.
And to be honest, I didn't think he was even being playful. I think that he masks his anger with "playfulness" and while the other roommates (and many of you) did not observe it, in my opinion there was somewhat of a dark cloud guiding his actions which could be seen with his body language and how he spoke during the incident. He was clearly angry.
Anyway, while everyone is entitled to their thoughts, I am not going to choose sides being I like both Andrew and Ashley for different reasons and last night's episode does not change that fact.
I understand Ashley's been through things that may have triggered her reaction, but still, she was laughing about it even as she was running around the pool table. It wasn't until she sat next to Ty really that she began to freak out (which confused the crap out of me, and probably Andrew as well).
Had she just dropped it that night and let it go, I don't think it would have annoyed me as much. But to leave the house for not feeling safe was without a doubt EXTREMELY overdramatic. By the time she made that decision, Andrew was already in bed! According to the afterthoughts on MTV.com, Callie said Ashley was saying to producers "It's me or him!" I mean, really? Josh, Callie, and Emily all agreed on the afterthoughts that they would have told Ashley to leave if it came down to it because they didn't feel Andrew did anything that threatening. I wasn't there, so I guess I can't really say, but the cast was there and they all laughed that it actually went that far in Ashley's mind.

She explained that earlier to Mike after Andrew was initially on top of her (in the bedroom.)
It was a nervous laugh, that comes from being uncomfortable. I personally don't do it, but I actually know a few people that have this reflex to stress.

In the end, it was a good cooling off period for all involved.
