Grey's Ep.516: An Honest Mistake
Tonight!! [quote] Derek's confidence is shaken like never before as he faces off with Addison over what course is best for their dying pregnant patient; Cristina calls the abilities of a renown surgeon into question after she botches a standard procedure; and Bailey, who has decided to pursue a fellowship in Pediatrics, is appalled by the Chief's less-than-stellar recommendation letter. ZOMG it's starting! It better be good!
I was pleasantly suprised by this epy...minimal Merideth, and we got plenty of Addison...fist fights and malpractice accusations, Izzie has cancer or something, the interns suck (big suprise there) and McMajor was fired fom the army...I thought it was a good episode...hopefully they keep it up.

The storyline with the pregnant woman was heartbreaking! I wonder how this will affect Derek? Korev's commentary last night was great. I am very curious to see how they play this out with Izzy, especially with her quiting, Do you think they will kill her off? ******** telling Christina that he wanted to be around for the next 40 years, just did not fit with me. I don't feel like they have enough of a back story to push this so fast. I love Lexie and Sloan together, his character seems like a different person. When he approached Derek to tell him, I found it sad that Derek automatically assumes he wants Addison! The fight between Derek and Sloan was sad! Did anyone see George? Poor Cally...It does not seem that being a lesbian is working out to well for her;)

I really liked this episode! I enjoyed the rapport between Mer and Addy, they sure have come a long way. And oh man that storyline just BROKE my heart! (the pregnant woman) Yes, I cried. Poor Izzie! I have wondered too, LM, if this condition that she supposedly has will be used to kill her off. Boo! I hope not. The McDreamy/McSteamy fight was well, kinda hot. ;) I'd like to rewatch this episode if/when the replay it cause I thought it was so good. Oh and I loooove Bailey, but I don't want her to go to Peds, I want her to stay in surgery!

I was thinking that one of them was going to come out of it needing plastic surgery...still might happen since we didn't see much of the aftermath of it.
This is what an episode of Grey's Anatomy should be. Easily the best episode of the season and maybe in the last couple of years. We had all the aspects of a good medical drama along with a variety of heartfelt side stories. Sadly, I don't think it will last. Addison fills a huge hole on the show and next week we're definitely going to notice her departure. I wonder if Shonda realizes how important she is to the chemistry of the cast? p.s. The transformation is complete. Derek is now the super ****ole of the show (That title use to belong to Burke and partially with Mark.)
