Survivor Gabon: Episode 6 - Recap
The Show starts off by showing us a preview of what happened last episode of Survivor. Fang is still doing horrible and they found Sugar's immunity idol. GC was voted out of Tribal Council. Fang After Tribal Council Fang comes back from Tribal Council and starts a fire. They set around the fire and talk. Kelly: "It's just like positive energy now. We are all positive." Ace: "Tonight was particularly hard." Chrystal: "Yeah, tonight was hard." Ace says OTF, "Tribal Council was sad. You know, not unexpected... GC had to go. I've got Sugar in my pocket and I need to arrange something that I can save myself until the merge. I just don't know who would be my potential Benedict Arnold. It is day time in Gabon. We are still with the Fang tribe and they are waking up. Kelly: "Good morning." Ken: "How'd you sleep?" Kelly: "Not very good. I was like up all night." Matty: "It's crazy dude. I know what means the most to me in my life. Every night I dream about food, my dog, and my girlfriend... Every night. Matty then says OTF, "This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done, but my whole driving force out here is Jamie, she is my girlfriend. So I am trying to make some sort of ring type thing.... just something to keep myself reminded of her. Because of her, I want to finish this thing out until the end. I am in a terrible position and I feel like I have been in a bad position ever since this game started with Fang. If someone approached me with a legitimate, logical, reasonable plan that might work; for sure I'm on board man. I am jumping on board and I am flying with it." Ace and Matty form an Alliance It then shows Matty and Ace away from camp. (So nobody can hear them) Matty: "Well what do you think?" Ace: "I am just stresses man." Matty: "Why?" Ace: "Man, I just want to make it as far as possible, you know?" Matty: "Me too. Obviously I want the same thing." Ace: "I just.... I prefer not to be blindsided." Matty: "So what do you think we should do?" Ace: "It all just depends on how close every one is, you know? I mean you wanna keep Kenny around, and Chrystal and all of them?" Matty: "Kenny." Ace: "I am completely fine with that." Matty: " Um. Sugar?" Ace: "I mean I don't want Sugar to go. You got your Kenny and I got my Sugar." Matty: "That's fine. Okay that's cool. That's Deal." They shake hands Matty: "I've got my Kenny, and you've got your Sugar." Ace: "Until merge, you on your girl that you won't stab me in the back." Matty: "Okay. What are you going to put it on then?" Ace: "My mother's life." They agree Ace: "That is huge. My mother is my best friend." Matty: "My girl is my everything." Matty says OTF, "I think Ace and I are probably some of the top competitors here physically. I do like him on my side, and I made a pact with Ace that I can't break. I promised on my girlfriend which is the love of my life, she is my drive and force out here. I am not going to break that promise for $1,000,000.... I wouldn't for $5,000,000." The Kota Tribe Becomes Annoyed With Dan It then takes us to the Kota tribe. They are cooking with the spices they won last week. It shows Dan get a lot of food. Bob says OTF, "We've been eating very well, and when we got spices and salt we started eating quite a bit. But Dan was shoveling it on with a spoon and I realized when I served Susie and I; I put the same number of scoops on my plate for Susie and I to share as Dan did for himself." Corrine says OTF, "It doesn't matter if you way 100 pounds more than me, you still get the same proportion of food. But Dan decided that he deserves 4th and 5th servings of food. So now we are going through food at an alarming rate, and he takes multiple servings. I'm really sick on how much food is being wasted on him. Ugh." Fang Has a Shortage of Rice It then takes us to the Kota Tribe. Sugar: "Matty, I want rice." Matty: "So do I." Matty: "So what are you guys thinking, is it enough rice to get us through 9 days?" The rice is very low. Ken says something... but I can't make it out. Matty: "It's whatever you guys think man. Is better for digestion if we get two small meals?" Ken: "Cooking small is not that good, because it all sticks to the sides." Ace: "I agree." Ken then says OTF: "Starting on day 1, I was talking about how everybody's not reserved the rice. They were just eating it raw and spilling it out all over the place. Now of course, we have a shortage of rice. We have about 6 days worth. If we don't have rice, we're dead, we're gone. It is hard for our tribe right now, it's like we're at rock bottom." Sugar Knows That They Know Sugar is laying down in the hut. Ace lays down beside her. Ace: "Hello." Sugar: "Hello." Ace: "I think everybody knows you have the idol." Sugar: "Why?" Ace: "Because they went through your bad, I think. I'm 90% sure. I told you not to leave it there." Sugar: "Should I give you the idol? And if I don't play it, you'll have it later?" Ace: "I don't know. I was going to say if you want to give me the idol that's up to you. You don't have to. That's not what I'm asking for. Sugar: "If I'm not going to play it, I might as well give it to you. Right? If they already know I have it." Sugar then says OTF, "I was trying to hang on to my idol as long as possible, but Ace came and told me that he thinks they've gone through my bag and found it. So I gave it to Ace for safe keeping. Ace is now in possession of the idol. He's got it in his pocket. I'm really putting a lot of faith in Ace right now. Ace is kind of a snake, but he's my snake and I'm glad to have him." Ace says OTF, "It's been a crazy couple of days. It went from me being in a position of no power, to a position of supremacy having the immunity idol in my pocket. I have Matty's word, I have sugar... I feel like I put myself in a very good position coming from a tribe that I didn't have any alliance with, and now suddenly I've got people there." While Ace is talking an elephant behind him gets in the water and makes a sound. Ace turns around and says, "Oh my gosh this is amazing. I just turned around and there is an elephant swimming through the water. How beautiful. I guess that's one way to get from one side to the other." The Reward Challenge Jeff: "Come on in guys. Kota getting your first look at the new Fang tribe." Dan: "GC is gone." Randy seems very happy about this. Jeff: "GC voted off at the last tribal council. Alright are you guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?" Survivors: "Yes." Jeff: "For today's challenge each tribe will be tethered to a 20ft long 200 pound snake. You will start on opposite sides of the course. On my go you will race around the course attempting to catch the other side. If along the was you get tired and become a liability you can hop out of the challenge by simply disconnecting from the snake. That will force the rest of your tribe to pick up that extra weight. First tribe to catch the other tribe and touch one tribe member, wins reward. Wanna know what your playing for?" Survivors: "Yes." Jeff: "I think your going to like it. Crescents, fruit tarts, chocolate eclairs, plus everything you need to make a hot cup of coffee, or a hot pot of tea. In addition the winning tribe will send one member of the losing tribe to exile island. Worth playing for?" Survivors: "Yes." Jeff: "Kota you have one extra member, set somebody out. Keep in mind you cannot sit out the same person in back to back challenges." Corrine: "I'll set out." Jeff: "Corrine is going to set this one out. Corrine take a spot on the bench, the rest of you, take a minute to strategize and get started." Jeff: "Here we go for reward. Survivors ready? Go! Huge reward on the line. This challenge is going to be won by the tribe that wants it the most. Fang gets an early lead off the start. Think about those pastries.... That hot cup of coffee. It would be nice to wake up to some of that. Kelly, barely moving. Kota now gaining on Fang after one lap of this course. You're going to get tires, you're going to want to quit. Every time somebody drops out you put a bigger burden on the rest of your tribe. Kota gaining more ground on Fang. Kota continues to make up ground. Fang is fading very quickly. Sugar and Kenny both drop out and that seems to help Fang, there now moving much more quickly. Kelly is now dropped out. Fang is down to three members. Susie drops out for Kota. Fang now getting some distance on Kota now that they have lost Kenny, and Sugar, and Kelly. Chrystal is starting to drag now. Matty, pushing them... frustrated. Chrystal now drops out. Its all on Matty and Ace. Big opening for Kota now. Kota with 5 strong guys going up against Matty and Ace who are struggling. Matty is carrying half that snake himself, Ace is dragging the other half. Ace is trying to keep his pants up. Kota is closing in on a big win and a huge reward! Kota wins reward!" Kota celebrates. Jeff: "Kota congratulations. This reward has enough for you to sample a little now, and still have plenty enough to take back to camp." Kelly: "You you share?" Randy: "Uhhhhh.... No." Chrystal is crying. Jeff: "Chrystal, what hurts more? Losing or seeing this tempting array of food in front of you and knowing you can't have it?" Chrystal: "Losing over and over. It's starting to hurt." Jeff: "Something your not used to?" Chrystal: "No." Randy: "Wha, Wha, Wha." He was saying the sound babies make. I don't know how to type it. Lol. Jeff: "Alright Kota, who are you going to send from Fang to exile Island?" Marcus: "Sugar." Jeff: "Sugar for the 4th time will be sent to exile island. Sugar you will return in time for the next immunity challenge. Fang, I have nothing for you grab. Your stuff and head back to camp. Randy says OTF, "I love winning challenge. More importantly than winning challenges, I absolutlely love watching them lose." Jeff: "Kota congratulations. Come get your reward." Chrystal says OTF, "Randy to me, he is a troll. He is a troll under the bridge that is just mean and angry with the world. I don't play like that. Do not disrespect me like that. I have a feeling that in the merge, Old Fang and new Fang won't get along." Kota After the Reward Challenge It then takes us to the Kota Tribe who has just arrived at camp. Marcus says OTF, "Today's challenge just showed that Kota is a strong and unified team, and I am so excited to see that. It works like a charm in the challenges. There is just no better feeling." They then begin to talk to eachother. Bob: "I think we need a table to sit down and have breakfast at." Marcus: "Has anyone thought of how we are going to split this up?" Dan: "Charlie has a great idea. Split it up and then each individual person can just eat there share when they want." Marcus: "I know that there is definitely 7 cresscents and 7 of these jelly things." Dan: "So if someone doesn't want an extra eclaire, they can get one of these. If someone doesn't want an extra cinibun, they can get one of those." Corrine says OTF, "If it wasn't for Dan we wouldn't have rationing laws. So when the pastries came back the old Kota tribe members, like me, Marcus, and Charlie were all like how are we going to divide this? So we try to make it as fair as possible." Dan: "This should just be gravy." Marcus: "What do you mean gravy?" Dan: "Extra. Go with the original plan which was cook dinner and um.. you know." Charlie: "It can either be gravy, or a substitute for a meal. Because that would give us one more meal on the back. That's why it's a good idea." Dan: "I don't want to be hungry come midnight." Randy says OTF, "Dan has annoyed everybody. He's even annoyed me a little bit." Dan: This is so good. I can't stop. It feels so good when it hits my lips." Randy still OTF: "My best move might be to kind of slowly distance myself from Dan as I bring myself closer to the original Kota." Dan: "Gosh those pastries are good." Randy: "Go for it." Dan: "You take one bite and only have one in a helf left." Randy: "It's a reward there is no rationing." Dan: "Don't say that." Sugar Back to Exile Island It then takes us to Exile Island where Sugar is in the "Sugar Shack" crying. Sugar: "I knew that they were probably going to send me back to exile. This is lame. Why do I get to come back here and eat fruit when everybody is starving at my tribe, and they're running out of food, and they don't have anything but rice. I'm feeling really guilty. I just feel bad know that I already have the idol. Actually I gave Ace the idol in case he needs it before tribal. We'll see if that happens." Fang After the Reward Challenge I then takes us to the Fang tribe. Matty: "This is my opinion, tomorrow is going to be a big day and super hot. So we might as well get everything done today and get all the canteens filled..." Chrystal: "I don't know why your stressing over it." Matty: "I'm not stressing." Chrystal: "Yes you are." Kelly says OTF, "Fang lost another challenge. We needed that food, because I am like withering away because we only have like three scoops of rice. Chrystal's reaction to our loss was huge. She just like broke down in tears. Personally, I just think her personality sucks." It then shows Kelly and Ace going to get the tree mail. Ace: "Chrystal is going the same way as GC." Kelly: "Seriously though.... it just like sucks. It's like a damper on the team. You don't need to cry." Ace: "Well, it's a different sort of crying than.... Sugar's crying is more a emotional and happy to be here. Chrystal's cry is about, Oh I am breaking down." Kelly: "Right." It then shows the rest of the tribe back at camp. Chrystal and Matty are talking. Chrystal: "Don't view my tears at today's challenge as a sign of weakness because it's far from that.... Do you think Kelly views me as weak because I was crying?" Matty: "Not weak." Chrystal: "Where did they go, up by the hill or to get tree mail?" Matty: "To get tree mail and up by the hill." Chrystal then gets up to go find them. Chrystal says OTF, "I hope that they don't put me in the same category as GC, someone that wants to give up. Because, shortly after I got back to camp, I snapped out of my funk. But Kelly hasn't had two words to say to me and so now she is going to feel the wrath of Chrystal." Chrystal catches up to Kelly and Ace who are getting the tree mail. Kelly: "Hey, how did you get here?" Chrystal: "Same way you got here." Kelly: "Really? Are you feeling better?" Chrystal: "Yeah... I mean you guys have already had the comforts of fish. I've had a pinch of a freaking sardine. You know what I'm saying? But like I tell you and like I tell everyone else on my tribe, don't mistake my tears as a sign of weakness. Because at some point, we all get depressed. It's just that mine comes out through my eyes, you know. I mean I think I can still battle with the best of them... just don't mistaken it as a sign of weakness because it's not. I'm fine now." Kelly says OTF, "I think that Chrystal crying in front of the Kota tribe, and our tribe, it shows a sign of weakness. You can take it either which way, you know. She can explain it to us, but she can't explain it to the Kota tribe." Chrystal and Kelly continue there conversation as they walk back to camp. Chrystal: "I think more so for me, it wasn't the danish. It was the pride. Kelly: "It just sucks. Especially when we lose everyday." Turtle Soup It then takes us back to the Kota Tribe. Randy is standing on their dock. Randy: "Marcus! A giant turtle!." Marcus comes running. Marcus: "A giant turtle?" Randy: "Not a giant, but big enough." It shows the turtle in the water. They get the turtle out of the water. Marcus says OTF, "I was really excited because it was like winning a reward challenge, except we did it ourselves so it had that extra bit of joy to it." They bring the Turtle back to camp. Susie: "That is neat." Dan: "You know how to cook that right?" Susie: "That's a good size." Dan: "You kill it, and then crack the shell, break it out, and cut it into cubes, and boil it." Susie: "Go for it." Susie says OTF, "I'm excited about it. I think it's going to taste good. I am going to have gumbo... turtle soup in here in the jungle of Africa. How cool is that? It is going to be delish... I know it." They all eat the soup and talk about how good it is. Marcus says OTF, "Right now the Kota tribe is probably on our highest high. The fact that we caught a turtle just knocked us up 10 notches. So, Fang better watch out." The Immunity Challenge Jeff: "Come on in guys. We will now bring in Sugar, returning from Exile Island." Sugar joins her tribe. Jeff: "Alright, you guys ready to get to today's challenge?" Survivors: "Yes." Jeff: "First things first. You are hiding it back there Charlie." Jeff gets the immunity idol from Kota. Jeff: "Once again, immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, each tribe will be divided into three pairs. Each pair will be tethered together by rope. On my go the 1st pair will crawl under a cargo net, race into the jungle, navigate an obstacle, and retrieve two sections of a flag pole then race back. Then the next pair goes. Each leg of the challenge, adds another obstacle making it more difficult. The 1st tribe to collect all three pairs of flag pole pieces, and assemble it correctly, wins immunity. Safe at least one more day in this game. Losers, tribal council, somebody's going home. Make sense?" Survivors: "Yes." Jeff: "Kota, you have one extra member. Your going to have to set somebody out. Who's it going to be." Susie points to herself. Jeff: "Susie your going to sit this one out?" Susie: "Yes." Jeff: "Take a spot on the bench. Everybody else, I will give you a minute to pair up, and we'll get started." Jeff: "Here we go, for immunity. Survivors ready? Go! Bob and Randy for Kota, Kelly and Sugar for Fang. Sugar and Kelly getting through the course quickly. Randy dragging it for Kota. Fang looking strong. It is Sugar against Bob on the ropes. Who is going to have the most nimble fingers to get that 1st flag section? Bob has there flag pole sections down; Sugar has hers down. You gotta unclip and get out. Randy and Bob heading out, Kelly and Sugar right behind. Bob and Randy are back through the crawlthrough first. Lets go girls what are you doing?!?! Fang slowing down. Bob and Randy with a bit of a lead for Kota now. You gotta get back to the mat before the next pair can go. Corrine and Charlie on the course. Kelly and Sugar are losing a tremendous amount of time for Fang. Kelly is dragging. Charlie and Corrine through the crawlthough. Ace and Chrystal out on the course for Fang. Kota now at the second obstacle. Fang finishing up the first. Charlie and Corrine make quick work of it. Chrystal and Ace, trying to catch up. Corrine whipping through the knotts for Kota. Corrine has the 2nd set of flagpole pieces. Ace, trying to pick it up for Fang. Ace has them undone. Charlie and Corrine with a desent lead for Kota. Charlie and Corrine moving through the crawl. Ace and Chrystal has made up alot of time for Fang. Fang gaining on Kota. That lead is evaporating now. Corrine and Charlie are back. The final two for Kota is Dan and Marcus. Fang back, the final two for Fang, Matty and Kenny. Matty, throwing himself. Matty and Kenny quickly through the crawlthrough. Ken and Marcus through the second obstacle for Kota. Matty and Kenny right on their tail. Dan and Marcus now at the third obstacle. Matty and Kenny right there. They are going to pass Kota now, climbing over the obstacle. Matty and Kenny have overtaken Marcus and Dan. Fang is now in the lead. Matty and Kenny, unbelieveable in this leg. Kenny has the pieces to the flag pole down. Dan has them down. Matty and Kenny heading back with the final two pieces to that flagpole. Dan and Marcus right behind, they are going on top of the challenge. Fang through 1st, Kota right behind. Fang, still with a lead on Kota. We are neck and neck, Matty and Kenny made up a lot of time. You got to get back to the mat, then you can start working on the flag pole. Get back Kenny you gotta get back! Go! You gotta untie all six pieces first, then you can start assembling it. This is where teamwork is going to win or lose this challenge. Kota, working together very well. Ace not wanting help from anyone. After coming so close, Fang now falling behind. Ace trying to muscle it in. All the pieces will interlock, you don't need to force anything. Kota, quickly working together on assembling their flagpole. Ace, still struggling to make sense of this. Kota wins immunity once again!" Kota celebrates their victory. Jeff: "Kota, once again immunity is yours." He gives them the idol. "Kota, not much to say, you dominate this game. Enjoy it. Grab your stuff and head back to camp." Kota Leaves. "And Fang, once again, tribal council is all yours. If you continue to play like individuals you will be there every time. Tonight one of the six of you is going home. You have the afternoon to figure out who it is going to be. Grab your stuff and head back to camp." Fang leaves. Chrystal says OTF, "Ace is a tyrant and bully, and alot of people see Ace as a strong competitor but he's been in our tribe for three or four challenges now and we haven't won anything, so how is that benefiting me." Fang After the Immunity Challenge Fang is just arriving at camp. Ace says OTF, "The challenge was challenging. There were a couple of people that died right at the end. I was expecting more from Kelly and she really just sort of died out. She goes and strengthens the team and I think she is just irritating and really dumb. Kelly is going home tonight. It would be stupid not to send her." Matty and Ace go off to themselves to talk. Matty: "Alright, now don't get mad at me when I say this... If we merge at nine and we go into the last three and it's going to be you, Sugar, or Me. She could play the idol and I could leave dude. I think we should flush the idol tonight. You and I and her... it is too much of a risk. Why can't we play it tonight?" Ace: "Matty... look. She can't play the idol. Trust me." Matty: "If it is us three..." Ace: "Trust me." Matty: "Okay. Alright I trust you man." Ace says OTF, "Matty wanted to get the idol out, but I just tried to convey to him that he doesn't really have to worry about that to that extent. Although I don't want to tell him that I have the idol; Obviously I do." They continue on with their conversation. Ace: "Matty, don't worry about the idol. I promise we will take care of it." Matty: "Alright, Kelly then." Ace: "Kelly." Ace says OTF, "The alliance is sound. I would hope to trust Matty. Sugar I pretty much trust completely. I don't see any reason why Kenny won't go with what it is, and I think it makes sense for everybody to get rid of Kelly." Chrystal and Matty are setting on the Dock and talking. Chrystal: "I'm thinking about blindsiding Sugar tonight." Matty shakes his head no. Chrystal: "Why not?" Matty: "Because it wouldn't work. That is what I tried to run by Ace when we got here." Chrystal: "Why do you trust Ace? When you went to talk to him in the woods what did you ask him?" Matty: "I asked him, what are you thinking dude?" Chrystal: "What did he say?" Matty: "He said Kelly. I said I guess, that's fine with me dude." Chrystal: "I really want Ace out of here." Matty: "You can't vote Ace off, we have to win a freaking Immunity Challenge." Chrystal: "Have we won one yet? Since he's been here?" Matty shakes his head no. Chrystal: "Okay." Chrystal says OTF, "I don't know what is going on through Matty's head. He is running and telling Ace everything and Ace isn't telling him anything. I am still very weary of Ace and Sugar because they are an alliance, and Kenny, myself, and Matty have to be weary of everything that is going on around us. Ken and Chrystal are in the jungle talking. Ken: "Something is up tonight. Right now the safest bet is to write down Kelly." Chrystal: "Ace is probably going to write down Kelly, Sugar is writing down Kelly, Matty is writing down Kelly... Right now I am really torn because I really want Ace out of here." Ken: "Do we trust Ace or Kelly. I don't trust Ace." Chrystal: "I don't trust Ace." Kenny says OTF, "Chrystal knows something is up and Chrystal does not trust Matty and Chrystal is on to something. Ken and Matty are now talking in the jungle. Ken: "You know what Chrystal told me? She told me, I am worried about Matty, he's flipping, and I am like don't worry. We are sticking together and Chrystal said okay." Matty: "What we have to know is that Kelly goes next. That's it, that's all we have to know right now." Ken: "Or Blindside Ace." Matty: "I can't. I made a promise that I cannot break." Ken: "Yeah but man you can't trust someone like that." Matty: "We had a serious agreement. He swore on his mother." Ken: "You got to think it over Matty. You just can't take anybody's word. In order for me and you to guarantee to make the merge, we have to blindside Ace, and that is guaranteed merge for you and me." Ken says OTF, "I don't trust Ace. I know he's sneaky, I know he has alliances back at the Kota Tribe, and Sugar is going to go with Ace no matter what. So I was like, I have to talk to Sugar on a one-on-one bases." Ken and Sugar goes off to themselves to talk. Ken: "It's weird because in this game, you see people who are really honest and sweet... kind of get their heads chopped off by people like.... Ace. So I figured, you know, maybe we can stick together." Sugar: "So you think I should get the idol back from Ace or what?" Ken: "You gave Ace the Idol?" Sugar: "Yeah, he has it." Ken: "Oh my gosh." Sugar: "I know!" Ken: "Are you crazy?" Ken says OTF, "I was so shocked when Sugar told me that she gave the hidden immunity idol to Ace, and I was like wait..... What?!?!" They continue on with there conversation. Ken: "Since you gave the idol to Ace, that just shows you that he is..." Sugar: "Well he didn't ask for it. I gave it to him." Ken: "You just gave it to him... On your own will." Sugar: "Yeah, he didn't try to talk me out of it or anything. But I know Ace is a snake." Ken: "Yeah, he is very sleazy." Sugar and Ace are now talking. Sugar: "I just wanted to let you know that I took the idol out of your bag. I mean out of your jacket, so you don't think somebody else did it." Ace: "Oh okay. Alright." Sugar: "But you don't think I need to play it right?" Ace: "No." Sugar: "Are you sure I am good?" Ace: "Yeah." Sugar: "Okay. Cool." Ace: "Alright." Sugar: "Alright." Ken says OTF, "I told Sugar, always keep the idol with you in case something happens. I just made sure that it is not in the snakes hand, (Ace's hand) and it's back to Sugar's hands" Ace says OTF, "The deal with Sugar and the idol is... she has it. I think it is quite possible that Sugar thinks, I used Ace to the extend that I can. I'm not particularly worried in relation to my own regard at the moment. I'm going in confident... that good be that worst thing possible." Tribal Council It is time for Tribal Council. The Fang Tribe arrives with their torches and sits. Jeff: "So out of ten challenges, you have won two. Matty, what is the mood of this tribe?" Matty: "We're cursed. There is something in our water, there is something in our rice. I think we have a curse" Jeff: "Kelly, whats your take on this tribe?" Kelly: "Um, we can't come as a team and just like work together." Jeff: "I think Kelly hit it on the head. What I saw today at the challenge, was a group of people working as individuals." Chrystal: "Jeff, when it came to putting that flag and pole together, I really honestly felt like Ace wanted to be the person to put it all together. I am like we can all piece it together." Jeff: "Ace did you think you guys were effective on how you were working at the end, trying to put that flag together?" Ace: "No. We didn't come together as a group, and I think I can portion definitely a larger percentage of the blame for how it went together at the end." Jeff: "Chrystal, would it be fair to give Ace a vote simply because you thought you knew how to do it and you didn't?" Chrystal: "Yes." Jeff: "Surprise you Ace?" Ace: "Nothing surprises me in tribal council honestly." Jeff: "Chrystal, you've been upset at a lot of challenges. Tears have come out often. Do think that it is starting to have an impact." Chrystal: "Oh definitely. Some of my tribe mates tend to take it as weakness and will very well use it against me tonight." Jeff: "Kelly, you are nodding your head." Kelly: "Ummm, I never said she was weak, but when somebody cries its like... Why are you crying? Clearly something's like... Not stable." Chrystal: "You don't know where my tears come from! Yeah I am hurt because we are losing! We're not eating, we're not winning! And if you don't understand that, you won't last to much longer in this game yourself!. And you took me crying one time as a sign of weakness? I don't think so." Kelly: "Okay, well I didn't say that you were weak so... You can take what you want." Chrystal: "Next question please." Jeff: "Now Kelly didn't say you were weak, Kelly said you were unstable." Chrystal: "Yeah, that's worse." Kelly: "She didn't explain to us why she is crying. I askes her after that if she was okay, she told me it was because..." Chrystal: "You don't have to explain! It is understood! Sometimes you don't have to have stuff written out in black and white. I'm not crying over no dag-on danishes. Okay? Really, it gets frustrating Kelly. It really does. We've been down and out from day one, but you wouldn't understand because you came from a winning situation." Kelly: "I'm not banging her down. Like, I just saw her cry. That doesn't mean anything. I wasn't the only one talking about it; Ace talked about it..." Ace: "Waaait. Before we try to start trying to throw people under the bus for no apparent reason, the only thing I said about Chrystal was, I actually understood because its frustrating losing over and over again just so it drives you off the wall." Jeff: "Kelly the whole time he was talking you had a look on your face like, Not true." Kelly: "He is 100% double talking and it's just so annoying, I don't even know how to explain it." Ace: "Honestly Kelly, I would be impressed if you understood what I was saying half the time." Kelly: "He always has the last word. It's disgusting." Jeff: "Matty, you seem like one of the few guys tonight, who might have reason to actually not be worried." Matty: "There's no sort of logic in this tribe though." Jeff: "That must be maddening when you get to the vote. There is so many people tonight it feels like that are on the chopping block." Matty: "It could be any one of us. It really could be any single one of us tonight." Jeff: Well it sounds like it is going to be a interesting vote. It is time to vote. Ace you are up." Ace is first to vote. It shows that Ace's vote is for Kelly. Sugar is second to vote. Kelly is third to vote. Ken is fourth to vote. Chrystal is fifth to vote. It doesn't show her vote but she says, "Forget you. Go home." Jeff "I will go tally the votes." 1st vote: Kelly 2nd vote: Chrystal 3rd vote: Kelly 4th vote: Kelly 5th vote: Kelly Which means Kelly is the 6th person voted out of Suvivor. Kelly's Last Words Kelly: "I voted for Chrystal, because you know what? She really doesn't have the power to push the team when she is the one quitting half the challenges. I think the Fang tribe is still cursed, I think they are still going to go down. They need to work together. Maybe next tribal council, they'll communicate better. I definitely wanted to stay in the game, but you know if it is my time to go, it's my time to go." Phoenix's Thoughts Well that is it! Once again please let me know if there is anything I can do different to make this recap better. I think this episode made me realize how much I really dislike Randy. Now that Kota has to go to tribal council next episode, I hope he is the one to leave. I am very happy that Kelly is out of our sites and will no longer grace our presents until the reunion show. I agree that it was wrong for Dan to eat larger portions of food... but he is still my favorite . Fang actually did pretty good on the immunity challenge. There for a second I thought they were actually going to win this one. But of course Kota pulled through. All in all it was a pretty good episode (but very predictable) Next weeks episode looks pretty good. I like the fact that BOTH tribes have to go to tribal council. I really don't know who I wan't to go home from Fang.... I guess if I had to choose it would be Ken.
Thanks Phoenix. As usual you put together an epic recap (but with pictures this time, yay!) I wonder how they are going to set up the two tribal councils? Is there going to be a competition like in week one where Jeff gives out two individual immunity idols and that is it?
This is the first survivor season I've seen in probably 3 or 4 years. I rarely am able to watch it live so I record it. I usually don't watch it for a couple of days. The week before last I actually could have watched it live but waited till I had nothing else to do. I used to be a big fan of survivor. I just can't get into this one. I'll probably keep watching because other than The Office I don't really care about anything else on TV right now.
Yeah I agree that is another epic recap, thanks Phoenix! And I wondered that myself how they are gonna play that. Mean if it wasn't for that we'd probably see Fang in tribal again and this makes it interesting. Maybe everyone is on the chopping block?

However, if I would not recommend this season to a casual reality television watcher. We can only hope that the pace picks up after the merge (although I don't get the feeling it will.) No worries though, there is always the next installment! ;)
Thanks. :D So who do you guys want to go home from each tribe? For me it would be: Fang - Ken Kota - Randy
So who do you guys want to go home from each tribe
Fang: Ken or Crystal Kota: Randy or Susie
Thanks. :D So who do you guys want to go home from each tribe? For me it would be: Fang - Ken Kota - Randy
Normally who I want and who actually goes are two different things but hopefully things work out this week. Personally in regards to Fang it would either be Kenny or Crystal I'd like to see go. For some strange reason I want Ace/Sugar to stay plus Matty....I don't honestly dislike him all that much. But part of me wants to give Crystal another chance even though she has done pretty poorly. For Kota as long as it isn't Dan going this week I will be happy but Randy would be a perfect choice to go, he just irks me. If not him then Susie, no offense but she isn't the strongest and I'd rather see her go than say someone else.
I have watched every season from start to finish... I didn't care much for this episode and I'm tired of them always talking about Fang because they suck. I think from Fang Ken should go home and I think from Kota Susie should go home. I don't really like Randy but he makes for good TV.

Though Dan could be in danger of going home this week or soon.

Right now, Gabon doesn't come close to being better or the same as last season. The problem is that it is just too predictable. I sadly think that Dan could go home this week. He has already annoyed the Kota tribe with his "large portions of food." I also think that Chrystal will be going home :( I am not ready for either of the two to leave. I really want Randy to leave. Sadly I think he will be another.... Cirie.
