In in the camp of this is ridiculous! NOT that it matters either way what his sexual preference was, but seriously. If JK wanted to write more and further develop the characters then she should just continue the damn series! All these little revelations about characters, just cheeses me off! If Dumbledore was gay then in 7 books there should have been some kind of hint to that fact. Not something you just throw out there after the books and say oh by the way. She says it's been a discussion on Message boards and chat rooms for years. I consider myself fairly intelligent, but I just don't see any under tones or hints about Dumbledore's sexuality in the books.
