Not a single lick of that had any growth or uniqueness to it. Austin just had no substance aside from maybe Danny's mother passing.
overall, I liked the cast. They seemed to be a poster child type of cast. Not sure how to exactly explain it but the cast just fit "Real World". The blonde, the frat guys, the punk rocker, the black. The storylines were decent but I never would have considered it one of the better seasons. I still remember how surprised so many people were when they won that Real World Award for being the "best season".

Actually Austin did have a story. Which a lot of seasons don't have. You may not have seen growth, but you saw relationships grow. From Danny and Melinda, to Wes and Johanna will they won't they, to Nehemiah accepting himself, to the roommates growing apart. There was a narrative. Philadelphia had it too.
I've watched every season and to me, the best that I would reccommend to someone who isn't super familiar or a late comer to watching were: LA (2), San Francisco (3), Boston (6), Hawaii (8) New Orleans (9), Back To NY (10), Chicago (11), San Diego (14) and LV2 (25). The stretch from Miami to Las Vegas 1 (seasons 5-12) though, to me, was nearly perfect overall. Very interesting casts and real problems. Las Vegas 1 was the big turning point in how the show changed from real drama to mainly just hookups and drunken fights.

Actually now Im putting more thought to this. AYTO is still gonna go on, hence why they came up with this Power Couple show. I think Real World is getting cancelled and The Challenge is now ending soon.
lol MTV should really film this, it would do better in ratings than the last two seasons.
Tony and Madison are the last storyline viewers were actually interested in. The whole CeeJai/Jenna rivalry was somewhat relevant, but not as much as Tony/Madison, who are still relevant to this day.

Absolutely ! Plus The Challenge does rather well rating wise, not impressive but good enough to keep going on. The end of this show would almost be the end of MTV.The Real World on the other hand will most likely disappear sooner than later... They clearly don't care anymore about this show but I don't think Challenge 30 will be the last one.

Miami is really underrated. Flora has to be one of the best cast members of the entire franchise IMO
