They really should have had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for males and females smh. No reason they couldn't split the money amounts for each in half.

It doesn't even make sense for them to break it down to have one winner. It was alright on Vendettas because thematically men and women could be rivals on that show. The winner sucked, but whatever. It would have made sense on Free Agents. It just doesn't fit this theme. It feels really tacked on for shock value.
I would have preferred they still had a pair win but at this point men and women compete seperately in eliminations so that it's potential that a new pair could form. That might have a big impact on how voting goes. Like would someone call out Kyle/Mattie for a chance to be Mattie's partner? Would any of the UK kids be willing to trade their partner for another UK alliance memeber? Could we have seen Cara/Bear go home and finally be able to root for Theo and Day without their annoying partners?
