They have also grown to love Nia; she is fun to have around. Which I understand I find her blogs about restaurants and traveling very entertaining. But the question I have are they casting based on who they enjoy to have around or people that actually bring entertainment? It is a form of a “nepotism” to cast cast members just because they love them and have become their friends.

This show is dead. The second the season isn't 36-40 cast members, it's over. When you have a cast of 28-30 and 20 of them are production pets that don't have more than 10 fans combined and they're all cast OVER AND OVER again to do absolutely nothing, you gotta know that it's curtain calls for the franchise.
lol I hate this cast too but it's not dead, people have written exactly what you have written for over two decades now. They might lose you as a viewer, if they stop casting all rw/rr people they'll lose me - but they'll keep on going.
Yeah this casting just feels very unprofessional on the vets side. They're more concerned about casting their friends and who will help out their faves instead of casting good TV. These people should not be running a TV show

Faysal and Darrell were names I heard as alternates. I'm not sure if either declined after they didn't make the final cast.
