No I won't judge. Because that is not the right thing to do to someone you don't know right? Calling anyone Cancer, despite what they have done, makes me want to vomit. Honestly, thee people just want to bask in the glory of the fact that they have information on someone they don't like. I find it sad. Move on, if you guys are so upset, it shows that you cannot be the bigger person in the situation.
i agree with you. i am being sent stuff. I relay it. The end lol
i agree but in all respect she put herself in the spotlight. The people are not doing this in malice. They are doing this becase she left alot of questions unanswered and fell off the place of the earth.
Gimme a break. Try reading those FB posts and the emails you got again. I would beg to differ that this info isn't given out of malice or anger.
Yes you are being sent stuff, but you come in here completely agreeing and going so far as to saying you may call here Cancer? Come on now. Let's just watch the show for her, instead of others telling us what to believe.

I agree people can be mean but that is wrong to. I think they all need to sit down and talk it out lol

I would not find it funny, but people make mistakes, and they LEARN, and they GROW, and they CHANGE. She is not the same person from 3 years ago, and I can almost guarantee that. Sit down and talk it out? It doesn't seem like people are talking it out when they are sitting there writing hate messages that nobody cares about but themselves.

I personally dont like her (from meeting her) but I should let this play out. Agreed

It is entertaining I think. She is still a jerk i will say. She thinks she is the greatest thing. Oh well. I will leave my opinion out of it. Fair?
Wow... looks like this season may be much more interesting than cancun!!! ummmm IMO when ppl put themselves on a REALITY show they open themselves up for anything jumping out if their past. AND I mean this isnt something like she took naked pics.. she (allegedly) lied about having a terminal illness. (allegedly) lied about the death of a fam member... it was what? 3 years ago?? not really that long ago. and... isnt this what TMZ and Perez thrive on? And the ppl that knew her and posted those fb msgs have every right to do that... They knew her... and most prob had emotional reactions to her "cancer" 9 months is a long time to keep a lie like that going.... she must be a good actress.... that should help her in the house ppl "using the RW as an excuse to spread this" ummm yeah ofc... why else would ANYONE who didnt know her care? Sorry the pretty girls sparkling bubble just got shattered for some but... hey that is what makes great tv. I would find it much more entertaining to watch her get called out on this than watch sad heart wrenching stories about abortions... I get enough sadness with real life. anyway, i am sooo excited now about this new season!
You know that for sure?
Everyone changes over 3 years. Subtlely, or even apparently and I think everyone can admit that. You don't have to leave you opinion out Oillgnom, I just think that this cancer think shouldn't change the view of people who don't know her. That's all. :)
Hah, I know people that haven't changed one bit over 3 years.
See but maybe that is just how you see it. Generally speaking, everyone changes. Period. Done. I am going to wait to see her and that's it.
Would you be angry if your grandmother died from cancer recently and someone played you for a sucker with a sob story on cancer and you believed it and nurtured that person for them to finally tell you the truth later on down the road and dissapear???? i would be pissed to.
I've have also had people very close to me survive and die from cancer. It is not a funny thing to lie about and I would be upset if my friend did that. But if she really was as good of a friend as some claim she was to them, I would try and work it out with HER instead of spreading my friends dirty laundry everywhere. I would try and find out WHY she did it, and if there was a deeper problem, which there probably was, I would try and help her overcome that and be there for her anyway. If I couldn't talk it out with her I would part ways and move on with my life and not waste my time reliving the situation YEARS later just because she has gained some notoriety. That's how I would react.

I mean if you knw her your opinion would be one of the few that actually has something besides editing to back it up. I personally WANT to hear opinions from ppl that know or have met cast members.... and this is a forum for us to all talk about our opinions... PLEASE dont stop telling yours!!! :)

for the record.. I was messaged and asked to dish out all I know about Erika. I know a lot and was never her close friend so I didn't care. If it made someone's day to find out about this stuff I can take 5 min and tell a story. No one would have ever brought it up if she was on the real world obviously. The reason so many people are talking about it now is because we are JUST finding out she is on the real world. Like many have said, she never hangs out with our group since the incident. She knew that being on the Real World, there could possibly be a chance that someone brings up the "cancer" epidemic of her life and I guess that was a risk she was willing to take. She knows that some people will never live that lie down and they all have their own reasons to do so.

Get over it people. it just makes it better because I enteract with them...
Then I will continue to say it how it is
yay! thank you!!! I for one am very interested. I think it is so interesting that you know someone who is a cast member... and the fact that she is already this controversial...... seems that fun times are almost certain!!

CORRECTION> The dirt needs to be spread or it would be boring. What is reality tv without gossip. Thank You Chicago
exactly! and it's not like I want people to egg her as she walks out of the house...(not saying that some of her old friends wouldn't like that) I was just confirming rumors like Perez Hilton and all the other gossip websites do. Since I knew from personal experience, I thought what the hell. Sorry to offend anyone.
You did not offend anyone chicago you did the right thing. Keep it coming lmao
Yes, the right thing was trying to tell us how terrible of a person she was, when I don't know the girl. Yes, you may interact with them, but who says your opinion matters more? It doesn't. We are equal in that sense buddy, sorry. Yeah spreading someone's laundry is great. I am so sure you would want people telling things to the world about how you did drugs, etc. Because you have really been in her shoes right? I share an experience. Some guy hated me, so he pretended to be gay, dated me for a year, we had sex and then he plastered it to everyone who knew me period. I know how it feels, and it is not good.

I am really sorry about your experience. That sucks to be lied to about something so personal..... But come on, seriously. this girl went on a reality show. you dont go on tv and try to become famous and expect ppl to keep quiet about a scandal. esp one that is soooo juicy :) the ppl that actually know/have interacted with her, have a much better idea of who this girl is. their opinion may not "mean"more than yours but, their opinion is based on actually knowing this person vs looking at their myspace profile and pics. maybe i am misinterpreting your posts... but they seem kind of hostile towards ppl that are just trying to share info abot the cast member... isnt that why we came to this page to begin with?
While everyone's opinion is appreciated, this has spiraled into an escalating argument about how people should feel about the information presented rather than the information itself. For the sake of a civil tone, this thread is going on 24 hour lock down so that everyone has a chance to take a deep breath. When it re-opens, I'd appreciate it if those that chose to comment would focus solely on the presented cast member materials in the context of the show and not engage in cross attacks on fellow members (which violate long standing board policy.) Thanks. Edit: Back open for business. Let's keep it civil.
So any update on the validity of this story? Wiggy - you seem to have a lot of sources, do you know? Very interesting, I wonder if Erica knows that this is all over the internet now?
So any update on the validity of this story? Wiggy - you seem to have a lot of sources, do you know? Very interesting, I wonder if Erica knows that this is all over the internet now?
Well, what I do know is that an impressive number of reports alleging this behavior are surfacing. I believe that these people do live in the hometown and they do know her. They didn't know she was cast on The Real World: so they had no reason to concoct the story. That said, for a multitude of reasons, I don't feel comfortable providing any further comment on the issue; I'm sure there are others on this forum who can speak to this issue more freely.
I honestly think it's something everyone should move past. It happened three years ago, and everyone has a right to a second chance.
Yeah right. How can Erika lie about cancer and expect us to move past it? I mean the guy ain't even that cute to impress...
I honestly think it's something everyone should move past. It happened three years ago, and everyone has a right to a second chance.
The story is valid and i agree with this statement. it is out there lets move forward. Enough hollywood dirt
