What would that accomplishment? It would just make the show lamer...... besides people literally get paid for showing up on the challenge so its not like they are getting nothing, 125 grand may not seem like a lot but it is for six weeks of work. Look at free agents, the house was great they got a free trip to south America and they got 5 free Jerseys each so IMO that's not so bad.
If conditions stay as nice as they did in free agents then I don't see a problem

Maybe they should try doing the pay scale similar to Survivor's (not as much money, but a similar format). You get paid depending where you place. Winner gets the most, first person out the least. Shelling out ridiculous appearance fees on top of what they win is ******* away money.

No they shouldn't, putting a big enough appearance fee is what convinced people like CT and Averey to accept the second call. Without them I cant see some; older vets coming back

Without appearance fee a lot of people wouldn't come back, especially house hold names or regulars that they want. A lot of people do this shows knowing that they are NOT going to win, but the appearance check is what motivated them to come back.

Still without them then we wouldn't have had Nany on free agents. The prize money won't go up to 500,000. The only thing getting rid of then would do is get rid of even more people

That's what people don't get BMP/MTV don't care about older vets unless they were household names at some point and not veen that, they currently care about the most popular ones and their regulars.
It could be better spent, but without a good appearance check less people would do this shows. They will lose more people.

I don't think is a ploy, what would she need to make one? The thing is that Laurel declined after the first availability call and kept declining after they kept calling for it even offering more money. She even tweet it that she is doing an appearance on August 23 in Arizona yesterday, the cast leave on the week of August 5th. I was thinking the same with Jamie/Thomas, but they actually really broke up lol

I think you guys are ignoring the "despite xyz" of her tweet lol, so despite things not working out, he meant a lot to her. Laurel said that she's pretty sure she's hanging up her hat with the challenges, so I don't know why she would need to devise some scheme to get on the next one.
As far as her putting it on social media, I see people tweet at her about Jordan sometimes, so maybe she just wanted to make it clear that they're no longer involved.

The accomplishment would be a better show all around. More people would have a chance to win and it wouldn't be so damn predicable. And so what if they got to live in a big house and got some jeresys? doesn't mean much if the experience is miserable and the living conditions are bad(that is if they were, It didn't seem like it on Free Agents) 125,000 is NOT that much money doesn't matter for how long. You realize taxes are taken out of that right? How much are they really getting?
But regarding missions...If they're not going to scale them down at least make them unique, Diverse and fun. Free Agents had a good mix of missions, Some were fun, some were unique and some were diverse. If they keep going that route then I'd be a happy camper.
