Atleast she brings something to the show. This isn't the NFL it's a tv show and characters add more than one average competitor does.
1. This is a competition. If you're not there to compete you shouldn't be there 2. Ashley can be better than average 3. Competition naturally creates drama instead of the bs that you and others want to see from Trishelle.
Let's bring in someone who can bring good TV and drama rather than someone who will get 5 minutes of screentime the entire season! Lol, I kid. But it's true. Also, I second wanting a Beth vs. Nia.
I don't get the Ashley hatred Beth & Nia are fine...not everyone has to be that dramatic.

The challenge wasnt always the crossfit olympics.... I dont mind Devyn, if everything was just based purely on who's the strongest/fastest/takes more steroids, what would be the point of the smaller people even showing up? EDIT: And just to clarify, I wouldn't mind seeing Ashley back. I just would like a balance.
Over a competition this a reality show
This is ridiculous to be. This is like saying Survivor, The Amazing Race and Big Brother are reality shows over competitions...they aren't This attitude may be why the ratings aren't what they once were. It is almost like they're trying to make this The Real World. This isn't. If I wanted to watch made-up drama I'd be watching that train-wreck of a formerly good show.
Devyn showing up is fine...her getting a free ride and ruining two finals isn't
Lol I see your point, and I too would hate to have her on my final team, but I feel like the challenges should be equal parts strength, politics and smarts.

That's why the only theme Challenges like Exes/Rivals are the only ones that have worked in the last 9 seasons (The Ruins- Free Agents, To an extend Gaunlet 3 and The island) on MTV for Ratings.

People will watch any station if they're given something to watch. The fact MTV refuses to advertise on any other stations is a problem. The Challenge is a competition
Good competitors are never boring
Oh yes they are.
Oh yes they are.
Then you're watching the wrong show
And the problem is how they target (or don't target) the necessary people. People will watch any station if they're given something to watch.
THe challenge is a reality show over a competition.
Saying it doesn't make it true. If that's the attitude MTV is taking that explains the ratings because they're not comprehending what drew people in originally. The poor ratings are due to 2 things (well maybe 3)...poor casting, poor advertising and apparently people in charge that are trying to alter the point of the show.
And the problem is how they target (or don't target) the necessary people. People will watch any station if they're given something to watch. The fact MTV refuses to advertise on any other stations is a problem. The Challenge is a competition
The Challenge is a reality show. First and foremost before ANYTHING. I don't get why that is so hard to understand.
Then you're watching the wrong show
No. YOU ARE.
The Challenge is a reality show. First and foremost before ANYTHING. I don't get why that is so hard to understand. No. YOU ARE.
If you want to watch a reality show that isn't about competition then watch The Real World This should be looked at no differently than any other reality based competition show--it all starts with the quality of competition.
If you want to watch a reality show that isn't about competition then watch The Real World This should be looked at no differently than any other reality based competition show--it all starts with the quality of competition.
I would definitely say it, and other shows like Big Brother and Survivor, are competition-based reality shows, rather than vice versa. What is a reality-based competition show? Every single competition? Like, I can't think of any competition that isn't reality-based... maybe like Total Drama Island?
If you want to watch a reality show that isn't about competition then watch The Real World This should be looked at no differently than any other reality based competition show--it all starts with the quality of competition.
And if you want to watch a competition show with no interaction between competitors then watch American Ninja Warrior or Wipeout.

She has shown herself to be average-above averageish, certainly nothing home to write about or nothing that would impact the competitive game heavily.

just watched the Spring Break challenge, Evan and Paula were super annoying as hosts they were all over Kenny's D and just talked trash about Wes the entire time, I know it was for fun but it was just annoying... rant over aha
Marie recently said that she would consider returning as well.
Devon and MArie work together and they left Devon leave, so why not
What did you see that tells you she's only on that level?
What did you see that tells you that she is over that level?
Ashley K. doesn't even add that much to the competition. She has shown herself to be average-above averageish, certainly nothing home to write about or nothing that would impact the competitive game heavily.
Which Ashley is that?
What did you see that tells you that she is over that level?
She performed well time after time. Not once was she a liability. What her ceiling is can't be judged based on a horrible cast that Season but her only competition for best girl there was Sarah.
I have heard a lot of people from Sydney-Explosion have got availability and second calls already. I have heard rumor of some old school,(I am adding Austin/Key west in Old school) but not a lot of them to add up to a new vs old.
Can you see a potential Battle of the Seasons 3? or 2> or whatever its at. And what is the max number of Explosion people you think we'll see?
Can you see a potential Battle of the Seasons 3? or 2> or whatever its at.
Nope, the ratings were bad for that theme so they don't want to do it again.
Nope, the ratings were bad for that theme so they don't want to do it again.
Damn. I really liked that format and I was kinda hoping the would do it again in the future.

She was boring but she was nice, you always gotta have some people on the show who aren't crazy or thirsty.
