2. Ashley can be better than average

Over a competition this a reality show, this show without the drama wouldn't exist because it wouldn't bring ratings.
The challenge wasnt always the crossfit olympics....
I dont mind Devyn, if everything was just based purely on who's the strongest/fastest/takes more steroids, what would be the point of the smaller people even showing up?

This attitude may be why the ratings aren't what they once were. It is almost like they're trying to make this The Real World. This isn't. If I wanted to watch made-up drama I'd be watching that train-wreck of a formerly good show.

Survivor, The Amazing Race and Big Brother don't air on MTV and don't have the same target demographic as the challenge/MTV.
That's why the only theme Challenges like Exes/Rivals are the only ones that have worked in the last 9 seasons (The Ruins- Free Agents, To an extend Gaunlet 3 and The island) on MTV for Ratings.

Saying it doesn't make it true. If that's the attitude MTV is taking that explains the ratings because they're not comprehending what drew people in originally.
The poor ratings are due to 2 things (well maybe 3)...poor casting, poor advertising and apparently people in charge that are trying to alter the point of the show.

I would definitely say it, and other shows like Big Brother and Survivor, are competition-based reality shows, rather than vice versa. What is a reality-based competition show? Every single competition? Like, I can't think of any competition that [I]isn't[/I] reality-based... maybe like Total Drama Island?

Ashley K. doesn't even add [i]that[/i] much to the competition. She has shown herself to be average-above averageish, certainly nothing home to write about or nothing that would impact the competitive game heavily.

just watched the Spring Break challenge, Evan and Paula were super annoying as hosts they were all over Kenny's D and just talked trash about Wes the entire time, I know it was for fun but it was just annoying... rant over aha
