Alton is stronger than Leroy at everything except probably for upper body strength. But yea Trishelle for Cooke would be a huge step up.
Leroy would've never went about the game the way Alton did. And they probably would've been so much of a trainwreck either.
People on here act like athletes are boring. I'd rather see Laurel VS Emily or Cooke VS Evelyn in Balls In than freaking Jazmin go up against Laurel. Athletes like Darrell and Landon are 100x more entertaining to watch than Brandon, Preston, Cohutta, Derek, Robb, Ty, etc... BMP should actually make their recruiters do their job and find athletic people that cause drama like Frank. Cory, who's an athlete, would be way more entertaining to watch than Jay who is not an athlete. Brian is another gem because he looks conditioned and is also hilarious. Thomas idk like I love how arrogant and delusional he can be with his "rich kid" attitude and at least he looks like he can do somewhat decent I mean he's not short and skinny or lanky.
THANK YOU. I haven't read any posts since this one so I don't know what's been said but why all the sudden is every cast member weak or below average if they aren't some beast like Laurel or Emily, or CT or whoever? It's like "Oh yeah well, I would never keep Nany on my team. She only came in first 3 challenges this season and she didn't even go into elimination!" Or when Latoya beat Jemmye and people gave her props, people were like "She didn't do anything special. She beat Jemmye. It's not like she beat Laurel." Like what? No **** she didn't beat Laurel, and she shouldn't have to or be expected to. But Jemmye is a vet and she's no slouch. I just don't get what is up with that. I would seriously not watch a challenge full of Evelyn's, Rachel's, and Emily's. Not only would it be boring to watch because they're all beasts, but it would be boring to watch because THEY ARE ALL BORING (IMO). I'd much rather watch Melissa swinging around a ladder and screaming help because she's freaking out then watch Evelyn beast another mission. At least I can laugh at the former. The latter is just like "oh, cool Evelyn won again...great." The same people who complain about the challenges not being as fun anymore are the ones complaining about how there shouldn't be people there who aren't there to compete 100%. Yes, I understand the show has changed, but the challenges began as a way for cast members from RW and RR compete for money and prizes, but still basically have a vacation. As a fan of the show from the beginning, I still enjoy watching that aspect. I love the competitions, but I also love watching Devyn have a funeral for her wig, or watching the whole house cheer Theresa and CT on in their BBall game. Could you imagine a show with all Laurel's? Like, the commentary would just be so terrible. And yeah I don't see the big deal about quitting. Like, I'm not for it but whatever. Coral quit and I wouldn't mind if she came back. Emily Bailey quit (ugh but actually, that might be the worst form of quitting) but she would've been cool to see again. I love Cameran, so I don't care that she quit. At least she's eye candy. Shauvon can stay home though.
I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said in this post. And you know what bothers me? is that people on this site think that everyone that goes on this show should be able to win the final challenge. Before this season I remember people sayng that Devyn should not be there because she'll never win a final and people said that about some others too. It's been said before but not everyone on this show is going to be some big bad strong competitor. That's not realistic. I think people put way too much stock in the competition.

There has to be some variety. A season full of Emilys isn't interesting to me. I mean sure I'll get my share of competition and accidental blackface, but that's not much. Somebody like Cohutta is exactly what I'm talking about. He performs fine in the challenges, usually pretty well. But he's not CT or Bananas, so many people dismiss. I'd rather have somebody like Cohutta on the show who can perform consistently and I can depend on for some ridiculous comment or funny comment (Like him telling Bananas to "dry off!"). You won't see me arguing somebody like Brandon though, who is a fine competitor but is just ZzZzz. I don't even dislike boring people. I just think there needs to be a variety. In an ideal world, sure everybody would be interesting and have a storyline but it just can't happen. But I just think some people are SO focused on the competition. I'd rather watch weak Katie make it to the end and win then watch Johnny Bananas win for the umpteenth time.

I love me some Ty, Robb, and Cohutta. And watching Cooke vs Ev in Balls In would only be exciting because of the meltdown vevmo would have watching Cooke destroy her. But I think MTV needs personalities like Knight, Nia, Jenny, etc.. even if they may not bring anything competitively. They aren't going anywhere so if you only want to watch a bunch of amazing athletes compete then watch the crossfit games because MTV Challenges aren't for you. And I do love Emily, she's my 2nd favorite female challenger ever. However, if everyone on the challenge had her personality, the show would be cancelled. And also, I don't like that they try to cast for the challenges. I like it when they just focus on what people can bring to the Real World, and then decide if they want them for The Challenge when the time comes.

LOL! Landon is a good competitor but he's not entertaining in the slightest. Darrell..Well he's had a couple of moments but he was invisible most of the time. Fact is. Most of the people on this show who are Athlete's ARE boring as hell. Now there are some Exceptions. But they're just that..exceptions and not the rule. CT is the only one that is a good competitor and entertaining. He's the whole package really.
Or how about both... let's pair Bananas up with Katie and see how that plays out...
No. There's no need for that. Katie needs to stay home and Backpack needs to retire..or at least take a long *** break from these things.

IMO.
Derrick, Abram, Rachel, Timmy, Theo V., Miz, Julie, and I'm sure I can name a several more. But those were the good years.
Abram, Mike, Julie I will give you those. The rest..nope Well I would add Derrick. But he was only entertaining for about 2 of the 9 challenges he's been on IMO.
Oh the irony
What do you mean? There's nothing Ironic about that.
What do you mean? There's nothing Ironic about that.
You stating a personal opinion as a fact.
There are a bunch of people who have a personality and can compete: CT, Bananas, Laurel, Camila, Cara (as of FA), Cohutta, Frank, Zach, etc. They are what BMP should strive to cast as they bring both entertainment/drama and can compete. Then there are the Emilys who aren't very compelling, but very food competitors or the Katies who aren't very good competitors, but fun personalities.
You stating a personal opinion as a fact.
Oh right. I gotta stop doing that.
There are a bunch of people who have a personality and can compete: CT, Bananas, Laurel, Camila, Cara (as of FA), Cohutta, Frank, Zach, etc. They are what BMP should strive to cast as they bring both entertainment/drama and can compete.
Since they have been cast on these shows they do and I also added bringing drama--which they do.
They do bring drama but not the good kind of drama.
I love competition, I think they should get rid of the Preston's and jasmine's, however I do love some people like Cohutta & LaToya who are good but not great. Also lol at Katie making a final she has made two out of nine, that's horrible.
i wonder if the final challenge will be a twist that no one expects like what if it was paried up final challenge as a guy and girl team together or if there was 2 team with be 8 people although i saw the trailer where it showed a small group of people together which looked like 6 people climing the volcano mountain which could be the final challenge but i think it will be a paired guy and girl final challenge
I think it depends on the circumstances on how/why people quit. It didn't really bother me Cameran quit on Gaunlet 2 because her decision didn't affect anyone else. I get if the enviornment is too stressful for you and you want to leave. But I don't like the way Trashelle quit because she had a partner. Also the way she went out without even caring about Sarah. If you have a partner I feel like you should stick it out. I know Alton hated Seasons but I felt bad Nany had to leave because he didn't try. I also feel like Vegas could have won it all and he gave up that oppurtunity.
Oops and to add to this, if Alton had been how he had in his first few challenges (ie old school days) and vegas was a full team of 4 in the finals, they deff could have won
As far as competition vs drama/interesting people- you need a balance. Too much Emily/ev/laurel's and it's boring. Too much drama and there isn't enough competition (and you don't see the cast members have as much fun!)
People on here act like athletes are boring. I'd rather see Laurel VS Emily or Cooke VS Evelyn in Balls In than freaking Jazmin go up against Laurel. When we're talking about casting people who aren't "top dogs", we're talking about entertainment social-wise, not in challenges or elimination rounds. Are there entertaining elimination rounds between top tier competitors? Yes, those are fun to watch. But wasn't Sarah vs. Katie fun to watch? Jemmye vs LaToya wasn't intense? Not everyone needs to be some sort of super strong athlete. I think the main point is that there needs to be entertaining people on the show as well. Your point falters because most people don't really consider Brandon, Preston, Derek, or Robb that entertaining (although I do love the latter two). Is Katie a pretty bad competitor? Heck yeah. Do I love her on the show and want to see her back because she's easily one of the best characters and usually provides entertainment? Heck yeah, and there's lots of people like her in that aspect. People are acting like we're saying every Challenge needs to filled with Caseys and Shauvons. No, that's not the case. I'm just saying there's nothing wrong with having people there for entertainment rather than competition. The show would be boring without them.
Debut, how can you think that was not funny? Timmy - YouTube
Abram, Mike, Julie I will give you those. The rest..nope Well I would add Derrick. But he was only entertaining for about 2 of the 9 challenges he's been on IMO.
Oh come on DA! Rachel and the mean girls on Inferno 2 was great! Cruel, but fun to watch at the same time. Timmy is and always will be entertaining. And I just adore Theo's humor... but I could be in the minority on that.

You may not LIKE Laurel, but I will say that I think she's a great competitor AND creates drama (big easy? CM?)
Abram, Mike, Julie I will give you those. The rest..nope Well I would add Derrick. But he was only entertaining for about 2 of the 9 challenges he's been on IMO.
The problem isn't that "athletes" aren't entertaining. The problem is that some people, Darrell and Derrick being 2 great examples, figure out that flying under the radar helps their odds of winning. They CHOOSE to avoid the drama in the hopes of staying friendly with everyone and cashing in on the big payday at the end (and it has worked very well). BMP needs to figure out a way to change the incentive structure. As long as being all friendly and cool with everyone helps make it to the $$$, some of the competitors are going to go that route and not make any waves.
And given that Noor has never been invited back, it is obvious that they look for more that athletic prowess in the casting decision. (and I'd like to see Noor back, personally).
I thought Noor did not want to come back
