That's actually a very interesting topic. They had a chance to have this conversation on AYTO with Amanda and Mike, but handled it terribly wrong. I think something also happened back in the day on Cutthroat with Shavoun and Vinnie (didn't Shavoun hit Vinnie with a chain all over his back?), but they chise to present it as a joke.

Even though I think it's not right, I think the guy ALWAYS loses when he lays hands on a girl even if she deserves it. He will always look like an ******* even if it's in self-defense. I've seen some videos of girls who DEFINITELY deserved retaliation, but usually when and if they do, White Knights and girls will instantly pull the "YOU HIT A GIRL!!!" card.

Ive seen this too. Actually I saw this video of two white women continuously screaming and assaulting this black man who kept trying to walk away from the confrontation to his car but they kept on with him and hitting him screaming how he can't hit them back cause they're women etc.

I am a woman and I would have been fine with him shoving his foot up their *******

I think regardless of ***, if you're going to hit someone, you can't expect to not be hit back. I don't condone a guy punching a girl, but I can understand it in some scenarios

This is so true and I honestly hate that shit.

I get made fun of here for being a SJW, but I hate that shit, too. I don't think anyone "deserves" to get hit, but that goes both ways: a woman has no right to put her hands on a man. And a man has a right to defend himself when he's being attacked. The double standard doesn't help women in the long run at all.

Perfect proof of women taking advantage of that shit.

And people think that doesn't happen lol.

It really doesn't. Because when you think about it it's nothing more than special treatment and it kinda flies in the face of equality.

same about the Mike and Amanda situation, I was 100% on Mike's side and that's when I hated Amanda's guts but now I stan the villainous queen lmaooo <3333

Totally agree. People always say "well women are weaker! It's not fair to hit back!"

Okay, well you don't see men picking fights with professional boxers/martial artists/buff dudes in general and then going "Well I'm weaker, you can't hit me back!" Complete double standard imo and also unfortunate that men are usually the only ones penalized by the law for violent behavior.

I was team Mike in that situation. Sorry not sorry. He even went to bed to avoid dealing with Amanda's bullshit and she even followed him there! How much more can he do to avoid the drama of her screaming in his face etc? Finally after trying to sleep didn't work and she kept hitting him with a pillow and getting aggressive with him he pushed her onto the bed and she CONVENIENTLY rolled her *** the rest of the way herself and threw herself on the floor and caused a scene and acted like he beat her with his belt. Then you have the house ganging up on him acting like he killed someone talking about how she was playing etc. no she wasn't and she earned that shove.

I agree 100%.Oh and it's crazy as **** to have another Mike fan on here lol.

I love Mike. I didn't like him on RW but I liked no one on there but Nika.  Hated that cast and season as a whole.

I met him late last year. He's very very ***y in general but in person even ***ier with a lot of natural swag. We snapped many times too while he was with Tori and I am gonna leave it at that lol

i was thinking it is gonna be like an LGBT rights vs Black Lives Matter conversation personally

I can't get on the "we love Amanda" train after that AYTO scene. She was so vile in that situation and they treated Mike so bad, making him out to be an abuser. Mike was actually likable on his AYTO season (I like to pretend like Bad Blook never happened) and he didn't deserve this. If anyone deserved getting kicked out, it was Amanda.

tbh they treat men a lot worse on these shows as well. Okay we have Nia vs Johnny/Averey, Jenn vs Anna, Camila in general (just as a small sample), all were allowed to stay. Yet  a lot of guys get sent home for defending themselves, "aggressive behavior" without touching anyone, etc.

It's skewed to one side imo.

I agree 100%. It's one of the main reasons I don't like Amanda and why I think she's a weak *** *****. And it also didn't help that Mike was made out to be the bad guy.

someone got those nudes **** low key jealous... he has a nice ****

I actually like Mike and would like to see him on Challenges. Wasn't a huge fan on the RW, but I think they kind of did him dirty by making him out to be "racist" after they made him out to be an "abuser" on AYTO. Wouldn't be surprised if he's over it.

Jason and Nicole. He wasn't sent home, but they called a meeting, presented him as a woman beater, had a therapist present. Didn't even addres the fact that Nicole had provoked the whole thing. And the way she cried that she couldn't see him as a friend anymore because of what he did was disgusting.

I detect some shade being thrown here...

But I was heated about that whole situation though. There was also some racial tones with that too I feel like as you saw how Bruno was with Sylvia and(I think) Violetta and nothing was done about that..

It was definitely racially motivated. Bruno was actually threatening to all the girls that season. Tony would get drunk and violent. But production only had a problem with Jason. Didn't they actually air a domestic violence psa after that incident with Nicole? It was such bullshit.

Ik I'm late, but imo Nia deserved to stay. She was continiously provoked. She told them that "It can get real serious real fast" and what does Johnny do? He attemps to throw a drink on her, so for that he was completely in the wrong
