I'm not saying change the show..... I more so meant no Bananas every season. More newer Real World representation. And I need them to really dig into the AYTO casting pool and cast people that matter. I feel like they are type casting with AYTO and that's not good because some are better than others and some should have already had a shot if not need one in the future (Shanley, Ryan, Kiki, Paris, Anthony, Layton, etc.)-- if they are gonna do it, they shouldn't cast the same ones repeatedly. Christina, Dario, and Simone have done it twice now so let's move on and bring in some others because they won't make a big enough impact no matter how many seasons they do to make them regulars that matter. So switch it up every season really with the AYTO people because there are some hidden gems in there. Only ones who I think could make regulars at this point is Devin and Adam. Everyone else can go. And what keeps the AYTO thing fresh is that it allows you to see different people each season and I think rookies and newbies can bring a lot to a season with they come in pacts. More willing to make moves IMO.
As for the old schoolers, never gonna happen. The demo is 18-24 sooooooooooo they are keeping relevant which to me is LV2-now. Anything before then is on a regular bases. However, the regulars are played which is the problem. People want to see Skeletons, GBGH, Ex-Plosion, more Portland, Bloodlines on the show. Time for new regualars and if they are focusing on this demo then it's the perfect time to have less regulars and more rookies, newbies, and upcoming vets to become the new Bananas, Aneesa, Cara Maria, Camila, etc. and I always felt the best way to do that is by not casting them because everytime they show up they focus on them only to the point where we barely see anyone else blossom. It's a power struggle like we saw on Bloodlines. Seasons created waves for people like Zach, Frank, Nany, Dustin, Jonna, and Devyn to become popular because they got to shine and play their own game and not the Bananas/Wes game. Puppets. So they created a fanbase later down the line and those who are still up to do a challenge I think can takeover. And many of them would probably love for these tired regulars to stop showing up so they can shine.
Nany has lost a lot of her presence because she plays under the regulars and it's not fun. What made Jordan so good was he played his own game. Which is kinda the storylines they go for each season. And phasing out the vets is simple. They do as they use too with the others.... stop casting them. Simple. And the more seasons they aren't on the more people don't forget about them but get use to accept not seeing them. Look at Paula, Kenny, Evan, Evelyn, Brad, Coral, Mark, etc.-- missed and still get asked about on Twitter zzzzzz but not many people really care because the reality is, they aren't coming back. So it's time they stop bringing them on while they can. Bananas has won, Cara has won, Sarah has won, Aneesa will never win, Camila is still having meltdowns, Laurel never really a reg but she won, CT is MIA but he's the exception to the rule I feel since he has vanished. I would like to touch on something Badlajj mentioned. The people who do the casting for AYTO are clearly type casting. It honestly looks like they just see someone hot on social media and immediately put them on the next plane to Hawaii. Bunim Murray hasn't done the best job with casting Real World lately but they manage to get a few we like seeing here and there. I think the casting behind AYTO is really the issue people have with them being on The Challenge. If they didn't cast based on abs or who looks the closest to a Kardashian maybe there wouldn't be a big issue.
