The vets should of sacrificed Danny instead of bananas to Evan. I don't know why Evan chose bananas over Danny.
Exactly...Danny/Easy would have been obvious choices.
I agree but at the time going off of looks only Danny appeared to be bigger and stronger.
Ya but Danny has and always did suck..even at that point he had done nothing but sucked.... FM1 lost with EV!!!!! in the first exile....EV!!! Inferno2..... LOST TO DAVIS...DAVIS!!!! even at that point in the shows history Danny was a loser. plus Johnny had performed really well on the inferno 3 and even won more life shields than alton, so I am still confused to why keep danny over johnny. especially when danny is inferior in every aspect of the game to Evan.
CT and Evan could beat Big Easy in Ram it Home or Force Field. Just cuz youre heavier doesnt mean youll win all the time. Look at Tyrie and Davis vs Kenny and Wes. Plus Frank beat MJ Garrett though it wasnt as much of a weight displacement, maybe 20-35 lbs.
I just can't see it, not when he's outweighed by over 100. Especially not Evan. CT couldn't even drag Tyler through the mud after 45 minutes and Tyler weighs less than him. CT would die trying to pull that much. I see it going the same as Derrick vs Timmy or an even better example Beth vs Ruthie in Reverse Tug of War. Don't underestimate Eric's leg strength he lifted every single log in I Can for a reason.
Rewatch that elimination. CT was draggng Tyler for like eight seconds and then Tyler managed to flip over CT for a remaining ten seconds or so. And im talking about Ram It Home which is similar to Blast off which Kenny and Wes beat Ty and Davis. Also Evan gave Easy a piggy-back ride.
Rewatch the reunion, they said that elimination lasted 40 minutes the show just edited it down, and while CT was winning it wasn't by much. I would have loved to see him go against Easy in that. Also both Wes and Kenny both outweigh and outmuscle Davis by a significant amount so that isn't a good example. I would like to have seen the total combined weight of both teams and the difference but I doubt it was anywhere close to 100lbs. Also picking someone up who isn't moving at all is a huge difference compared to pushing or pulling someone who is resisting. Anyone who has ever played football and run offensive line drills will tell you there is no way Evan or CT would have beaten a guy who outweighs them by over 100 in a pushing contest no cardio or not. As for ankle breaker or force field watch Beth vs Ruthie if you want to see how that would have ended. Beth couldn't even climb a rope or push herself through tires yet she destroyed the 2nd best girl on that challenge.
*** r u talking about? are u saying that ct took a break for 40 minutes after beating bananas and then went against Tyler? cuz the whole main point was for Tyler to last more than 18-19 seconds against CT, so i'm confused on how it would be 40 minutes? i'll rewatch the reunion though.
also Wes doesn't outweigh Davis by much, if he does at all. Kenny yes, but not WES.
If you watch the reuinion Ct and tylers gulag lasted 40 mins before tyler gave up..... even though he only needed 18 seconds tyler wanted to play it out. but after awhile he just gave in because it was tiring and he already won.

The Rookies were idiots for not throwing in Kenny...Kenny is a beast in finals but can easily get beat in an elimination. I'd have thrown Kenny in twice. Not Evan or Adam...although Danny asked for Adam which made sense
Based on the games, if they wanted to get rid of one of the four they thought were the strongest (Evan, CT, Kenny, Brad), I would've gone with Brad. Kenny is a clumsy uncoordinated goof but 4/5 of the elimations were either a strength/weight/endurance combo or wrestling...all Kenny's strengths. I think Brad would've gotten crushed in the majority of those eliminations by nearly everyone on that team. Plus you would've knocked out the peacekeeper on the team.

If i remember correctly Tyrie almost advocated that smart move but the Tori started being rude and started to scream at Tyrie cuz she wanted Brad to stay for sexual reasons.

Yeah Danny has always sucked since day one and Johnny had already proven himself as a decent competitor based off of his performance on Inferno3 so I still don't understand the vets decision to not choose Easy/Danny. The only thing is they could say Danny was bigger than Johnny but still...I highly doubt Evan could lose in anything to Danny. Evan is a pretty paranoid dude so maybe he thought Johnny was his best shot but that is just pure stupidity to keep Danny around over Johnny.
There was a LOT of stupidity going around on that challenge. Coral/Beth didn't deserve to be around all of that (Katie too but she is pretty much known that she was one of the weaker girls)

The only thing I liked about The Gauntlet 3 was Frank R. and Cora/Katie owning everyone at the reunion. The way the Veterans treated the girls on that challenge was awful. It really ****** me off how they wanted to get rid of Coral after they just used her to get rid of Beth in the elimination round. The fact that they threw one of the challenges to vote in Coral against Evelyn was so dumb. I can't believe they were seriously planning to keep Casey and Robin over Coral....and Casey "stepping up" to face Evelyn when Coral quit did not deserve a round of applause. The team should've automatically decided to vote Casey in right when they lost because she was going to be their anchor in the final. It was great seeing all of them lose.

SO dumb...apparently Coral was too much to handle & they wanted the weak girls who would follow their every move (same reason they got rid of Beth). Coral was right behind Evelyn as far as the best girls go.
Frank & Jillian also didn't deserve the BS they got. Tori is so stupid, always becoming the best of friends with people who would drop her in a second when it came down it. She seriously thought that Johanna/Melinda/Rachel wouldn't send her *** in every time if it meant protecting their alliance. MJ had some dumb moments as well (seriously believing Frank was hurting the team).

In that montage they shoed for people who have won the Challenge I was disspointed cuz they didn't show the Gauntlet, the Inferno 2, The Gauntlet 3, or the first Battle of the Exes. here are my reasons:
The Gauntlet was the Challenge that honsetly built the foundation where Challenges are to this day. And you got to see Sarah Greyson with her underdog story.
The Inferno 2 was two of the show's biggest stars, The Miz and Jamie Chung, was there last challenge and an awesome win.
The Gauntlet 3 was a true Underdog story, however maybe controversial.
Exes 1: Camila and Bananas dominated the Season and this was a great win imo.

I would argue that the shady/drama portion starte with Emily Bailey in Battle of the Sexes...she is the reason people like Veronica, Rachel, JEK, Wes all exist imo. Although format wise, the Gauntlet is where it really started taking off! The good old days lol I miss team challenges.
I was on Jay's side when Bananas came at him on the reunion. Yeah, Jay quit the final and there were more deserving competitors who should have been there but Bananas was extremely rude to him for no reason.
I honestly hope they go back to teams challenges, they need more "breakout champions" and this pairs challenge aren´t helping the "show starpower", not only because only 2 people win, but most of them are already set up vets who are looking for a final win to retire, so that leaves a huge hole in the "starpower" on the next cast:
FM2- Landon/Carley never came back - Pete/Jillian never came back
Cutthroat - Brad´s final challenge(and Tori but who wants her back xD)
so has you can see a lot of people who where already established has "top dogs" or mid-season guys who had credibility left, leaving us with the same recycled cast through out the seasons.

I was on Jay's side too. I personally think that part of it was because Jay got to the final and Backpack didn't. Backpack and Nia failed to do what Jay did which was make it to the final so they just kinda took it out on Jay a bit and I didn't like that. I really wish Jay would've laid into him.
With that said I wouldn't mind it if Jay returned(which at the moment is an unpopular opinion).

yeah Jay "earned" his spot in the final, like he said in an interview during an episode , they always did better than someone else to not get last place, IMO johnny and Nia ( more Nia ) were absolute hyprocrites talking about how Sarah/Jay/Wes played...
Sarah made what she had to do to win, she saw a chance and took it, Johnny acting like he never threw people (that thought banana´s had their back) under the bus is surreal, coming from a guy that screwed Paula on The Island, screwed Evelyn on Ruins, etc etc.
Nia is even more hypocrite because she not only quitted a "easy" and fun daily challenge , she got herself DQ for sexual harrassment so , she should be quite when talking about "being in a final" or "deserving a spot".Jay didnt waste somebody´s else money, he made it, just like Jordan ,Marlon and Cooke made it on Rivals 2, just like Mike and Leroy made it on Rivals 1.
Nia talking about people who only make 1 challenge and thinking that Jay is one of them was completely stupid coming from a person who is also a rookie and only made 2 challenges where she lost.
IMO the MVP of this season should be either Wes or Leroy, Wes played the perfect game and was screwed by this Ex-ile stuff.
Also i dont know if its unpopular but i rly thought this final was "easier" compared to the last ones, especially the drinking that stuff up.
P.S : Swimming rly drags down a lot of competitors tho :/
In battle of the seasons the inner circle voted off yes and Veronica because they were perceived as a threat. Emily was a part of that too.
Emily played the nice girl during BoTs and chad/holly took the blame for that move but after watching her on Botsexes Emily definetly isn't as nice as she tried to come off on seasons 1. She single handedly advocated and got some strong girls like Rachel and Veronica off then quit leaving the girls team worse off. So **** selfish.
I don't want a ton of new people on this next challenge. I really hope the cast isn't chock full of ex-plosion/skeletons like a lot of people here seem to want it to be. I'd really love to see a lot of middle-era vets again like Cohutta, Chet, Kim, Dan (Walsh), KellyAnne, Johanna even Casey. People who have done a lot of Challenges but never reached top dog status due to the prescence of legends like Bananas, Kenny, CT, Evelyn etc. Middle-of-the-road players who didn't really get a chance to shine but might be able to do so against some of these rookies (maybe with the exception of Casey lol).

I loved her though...she was the original mean girl. I wish she would have came back again post battle of the sexes 1. I do hate that Anne Wharton went home the day before then Emily quit....I loved Anne, and wish she came back too, she is one of my favorite classic vets.
I wish Cooke/Cara had won Rivals II. Watching the final again was sooo painful. They were in the lead for so much of it
I actually agree. I was rooting for them in the final and wish they would've won.
Well..I was rooting for Cooke moreso that Cara.
Cara's always been a favorite of mine, but she definitely slowed Cooke down a lot in that final and it was super disappointing. Emily and Paula crushed them so bad on the body bag checkpoint and Cara was pretty much entirely to blame. Super disappointing, especially when it really looked like the underdogs could have pulled out a win
