She sure was. Julie was halarious, Exciting and entertaining. Now she's someone I would love to see back on these shows.
Amen! I loved her, I was sad she never came back! She was a great competitor and entertaining to watch! I would have liked to see her on a 'Free Agents' type challenge where she could show her skill and maybe not get voted off due to people just not liking her.
I loved the X-treme girls too. ... As for Julie, we need the crazy Mormon back in the house to do something to shake some of the girls up. You can bet if she challenged them to wrestling match at least one would jump in.
oh man I really miss Julie! As someone mentioned, I would have loved to see her in an individual format. There are actually a lot of former female competitors I would have liked to see in an individual format like Coral, Veronica, Susie, Tonya and Tina(even though she was on the Duel, she got kicked off early and didn't really showcase her abilities but I think she could have gone far).
okay so i'm a fairly new fan of the challenge even though i've been watching it offhandedly for a while. i got into it with free agents and decided to go back through and watch through a lot of them and i'm currently up to rivals ii right now and really, i just ended up making an account because i needed to laugh to someone about how bananas and ct had all this beef an episode or so ago but now trashelle and aneesa are fighting and they're huddled up together and laughing and wearing matching boardshorts
like really y'all matching boardshorts really
Oh Grantland is big supporter of the challenges. David Jacoby always covers it on his podcast with this girl named Juliet called the Right Reasons. Always good for a laugh or two.
I had no idea that Bill Simmons watched The Challenge. And Bananas was talking about how professional athletes are watching the show too. Interesting.
The rumor is that Simmons and Jacoby basically gave the idea of Rivals to TJ Lavin a few years ago on a podcast.
Oh, I'm not saying that Julie wasn't entertaining, not at all! She's always been one of my favorites. I just don't really remember anything significant she did on Inferno 2 besides "the road to God is straight and narrow".
I was pointing out that not everyone from the "old school" Challenges were super entertaining and not all of them were polarizing characters that could carry the show... As much as people complain about the cast, there's always going to be those background characters (I don't want to call them "filler" but some of them definitely are) that don't take up much of the spotlight.

When you tried to come at me with a response just to disagree with me it looked like you were comparing Julie to people like Nate, Jemmye, Trey, Robb, etc.... I disagreed with Debut Album when he said those new kids can carry a show and then you came at me saying that Julie, Kuramo, Jamie and Shavonda were the same as those that Debut Album listed.
I just listened to Wes's Grantland podcast that he did after Rivals 2, and it made me love him even more. He said Kenny and Evan would never be relevant if they didn't pick fights with him, and he said that Bananas' t-shirt and bobblehead business reminds him of a petty business he would operate when he was in middle school hahahahaha.

Can you please pm/post the link :)
What eliminations do you guys think should come back? I love knot so fast & Handcuffs
Knot so fast for sure. I'd love to see Shadow Fighters again. A revamped Ascender/Capture the Flag would cool in an Exes 2 as they could benefit from the height of the Dome.

I wanna see hall pass or a long distance version of it. Only bc im a runner and would love to see more running missions when they aren't having to carry weight and stuff.
I like the fact that she admitted she faked being sick because she just didn't feel like doing the challenge, lol. She gives no ****s.
oh yeah that's incredibly entertaining and good for the show...
The Ruins had some great eliminations which I'd like to see again. Knot So Fast and Unburied were good, too.
How did forget Unburied? That's one of my favorites! I'd like to see it fleshed out a bit, a harder dig and a more complicated puzzle(s).

Can't be much more complicated or they'd be there all night :)

That puzzle what was last time was way too easy :/ I mean, seriously.
Same with that numbers puzzle what they put every time(every row, diagonal and column have to be 15)
I really would like to see more serious puzzles

Sudoku! Haha
That might take longer than the Free Agents final
They're actually not that hard. If they fill in like 40/81 numbers in the puzzle, it should only take 5-10 minutes because there are only a number of places you can go.
If however, they literally fill in 10 numbers- then yes, it could take forever

I agree, the only ones from the ruins I would be opposed to seeing again is burnout, the kicking one and crunch
