Some shocking results this week:
Raiders beat the Chargers
Giants beat the Texans (I was surprised)
Redskins beat the Packers
Buccaneers beat the Bengals
... and I must say, the Chiefs put up a **** of a fight against the Colts. Peyton was ****** throughout the entire game!
I dont consider any of these shocking. The Chargers, Texans and Packers are all inconsitent teams. And Cincy is very overrated. Bengals fans constantly talk about Palmer being an elite qb but he is not even close to being elite, honsetly i think he closer to the bottom of starting qbs in the league than he is to the top.
I am absolutely amazed the Colts just let the Skins back into this game...
Edit: Horrible play calling by the Skins gets them right back out of it.
Just watched the Steelers @ Fins. Terrible call on the endzone fumble that cost Miami the game.
Us Browns fans are left shaking our head, business as usual it seems when officials have the chance to decide Steelers games. We'll take our win though even if Brees was our best player tonight :victory:
How about this Pats game so far?! :D The Charges are just not doing anything right today.
The Chargers look about as bad as a football team can look. They are really lucky it is only 10-3.
I guess the Pats made a good trade after all...
I think Moss would be interesting on the Dolphins along side Brandon Marshall. I read that the Dolphins might try to sign him, mostly because they don't want the Jets or Patriots getting him.

It would be an interesting addition, but from the way Moss was talking it sounds like he wants to go back to the Pats, lol.
That said, the Pats don't want to sign him to a big contract, so maybe Miami can entice him that way (although a multi-year contract for a guy his age, with his temperament would be a mistake in my opinion.)
You know you're in trouble when your local team has your rookie defensive tackle attempting extra points...
Stafford sure is worth every penny!!!
Well if the Jets didnt cheap shot the kicker they wouldnt have needed Suh to kick, Suh was a good soccer player so it was worth a shot. As for Stafford he played great last week and today but he seems to be made of glass. If he could stay healthy he could be a very good qb.
How about the Browns demolishing the Patriots. That one came out of nowhere.
No, this came out of nowhere. :D

No Browns fan is surprised. We know our team is capable of rising to the occasion and playing the best teams hard and close. I'm pulling for the Pats though so hopefully we can help them out by beating NY also.
Jerry Jones is making a coaching change announcement in Dallas today. Wade Phillips fired, Jason Garrett new head coach of the Cowboys.
This doesn't really make sense to me. Obviously, there was no way Wade Phillips would be the coach going into next season, but why fire him now? It wouldn't matter who they brought in as coach, they can not make the playoffs at this point. Firing Wade mid season could cause some division in the locker room. And of all people, Jason Garrett is the interim coach? Their offense has been terrible this year, but then again, just about every aspect of the Dallas Cowboys has been terrible.

IDK man, 1-7 (no home wins) and getting completely pounded 45-7 (Tony Romo or no Tony Romo) is really really bad and someone needed to go ASAP and it was Wade Phillips. I mean it's one thing to be getting beat by 2 or 3 TD but 45-7 ?? This Dallas team has just completely gave up on Phillips over the last month and I don't think it would've changed anytime soon. I think bringing in an interim coach is the right move. Maybe they can get something going and carry it over to next year, which definitely wouldn't have happened with Phillips being the coach the rest of the year.
Pretty good game Thursday night between the Ravens and Falcons. Even though Roddy White pushed off on that last catch, he is an absolute beast. Definitely the top wide receiver in football right now.
