Real World Cancun: Ep. 1 - Discussion

Some have to strip and work at Hooters, and some make that choice. Personally, I don't mind it, because if it makes them happy, that is all that matters. Hopefully Emilee will further elaborate, past just this little tidbit we saw this episode.

I'm surprised none of the cast has commented yet. Well Joey did, sort of. :D

Me too OPD. They were so vocal before the show. Now they are dormant. Oh well. They are busy peeps. Hopefully we hear from Ayiiia.

I don't think I was putting words in your mouth at all. You put the two jobs in the same category. But you seem like a person that won't see what I'm saying so I'll just leave it at that and end it. As for the cast, it's probably in all of their best interests not to come back here.. at least until RW: DC is all anyone talks about. That said, everyone has a curiosity what people are saying, and if you knew you could go to a place to see, you would, even if you knew you probably won't want to see it. Hypothetically, of course, haha.

I'm not a moderator for administrator but we should probably think about how they would react before we post something, I think its a little to early in the show to say who our "favorites" are. I know its a TV show but they are members here and its a lot different now.

Can we discuss the sneak preview for next week episode?? Because I have a few negative things to say about joey??

LOL this may not sound so smart, but I'm on team Ayiiia, and no matter what she did, you can't spit on a persons food. What kind of adult are you...how would anyone feel, if the food you payed for, and want to enjoy was ruined....LOL I have so much to say.

I agree Producer, but we still have to wait to see if there were any other incidents that led to this.

I can't wait for the next episode! The TV listing states the Ayiiia and Joey stuff and also says "CJ and Jonna get closer".

Hooters is not like stripping, it's much better than stripping. However, lots of things are much better than stripping. I grew up in a very [B]conservative[/B] home. Thus, my opinons are more right winged than yours. I don't think there's a need to be disrepectful about it. I even said I have grown more open minded to the choice because we don't always know the circumstances behind the choice. If I had the choice I would work at hooters vs stripping. However, I would look for many other avenues before thinking about that. Emilee's seems like a nice person.

I am so late to the game! I loved this episode. I was a member of the "I don't want to like Cancun" camp, and it has won me over. Seems to have a good mix of potential serious life issues and a cast that knows how to have fun.

There's never been a season of the RW that ive wished i was on up until this one, this cast seems reall kool, and so far i dnt hate any of them And Im pretty sure Im in love with Jasmine!

She is a funny girl... she had me laughing through most of the episode.

I haven't really been enjoying The Real World for a while now, only giving it a few episodes before I realized I wasn't connected to any of the cast. I decided to give the first ep a go online, and I gotta say this is the most charming cast there's been in a while. I like all of the girls, a lot, as they all seem to be really engaging in their own, distinct ways. I'm digging Bronne, Derek, and Joey, with just CJ rubbing me the wrong way. Oh, and this is the first cast where I was able to get all the names right by the first episode. The season trailer seems to be really intense, too, so I'll definitely be staying tuned for the rest of the season!

This episode was really good as we got to see what everyone wants to do. I can't wait to see the rest of the season. I also wanted to say i miss V1 man, he always brings joy to the vevmo community.:)

My favorites are CJ, Ayiiia, Emilee and Bronne. Yeah, what happened to V1Man? He hasn't been around in a while.

I guess we'll have to see what happens as the season goes on. I was also raised in a similar way, to always just think that everybody you meet is going through something worse than you are so to treat them with respect and kindness. What are your thoughts on the first episode?
