American Idol 8

I really don't like the fact that they are "promoting" Adam. He is on every newstand out there. Even Katie Perry endoursed him on the past episode. She had his name on her shirt. It's unfair!

RMD1, I see what you mean, but he's different and I can expect that he will get a different reaction.

I agree with you OPD! I thought it was rude of her to do that.

I will agree that Perry doing that was unprofessionaly and kinda rude.

Zachary, on the back of her outfit it said Adam, insinuating she wanted him to win. OPD, just because I like him, I will vote for him a few.

I tried to vote.. couldn't get through.. thought I'd wait a while, and then fell asleep. lol I hope Kris wins!

OKay I haven't really watched that much, but I saw last night and watching Kris preform was like watching paint dry imo. He is very easy on the eyes, but even that didn't make up for the fact that I was dozing off. Adam wasn't that great when he sang that final song either it was really pitchy, The whole song actually kind of sucked imo, but Kara sure thought he was the ish. And, was it just me or did all the judges comments to Kris sound like "you are going to lose but don't feel bad because Adam is great and you are just alright" I mean I have seen some stuff around the net of Kris that I have liked, but Adam's style is my type of music. I didn't vote for either of them though because I just did not watch enough of the preformances to judge.

His first song was really good and so was the second one, but I didn't really like the last one. I think the judges were right when they said that it fit Adam's voice more than Kris'. But I completely agree about the judges. It's like they just want to tell Adam that he already won and it's seemed like that for a while. Which might be part of the reason I want Kris to win so much.

I am not invested in any of the guys but I did want to cry for Kris when he was getting his critiques...I admire him for how he handled it because I would have prolly flipped out and ruined any chance I had of winning by blasting the judges for playing favoritism so blatantly.

Especially when they critique the contestants wardrobes. This is not Project Runway, it is a singing competition! Why would anyone take fashion comments from Simon? The man wears a plain white shirt everyday.

This is a random aside, but I was watching the morning show on CBS this morning and they were talking about Idol. One of the hosts said she was definitaly watching Idol tonight and Harry Smith said he would have to decide between Idol and the Yankee game.... Then, like she was suddenly prompted in her ear - the third host says awkwardly, "Or Criminal Minds." I totally got a chuckle out of that. Someone in the booth wasn't digging all the Idol talk, lol.

I'm SO HAPPY Kris won! He's been my favorite for the season. Adam just got too loud for me, he's good though and both we'll do great. I think it's funny how some bloggers claim that America is homophobic and that's why Kris won. Is Adam even officially out? lol I hate when people make it into something it's not. America liked Kris Allen better... period.

I was very shocked too. I'm very happy that Kris won. His version of Heartless was AMAZING.
