Allison is my favorite. I also like Matt and Kris a lot. I was really rooting for both Alexis and Megan but they did nothing for me this week. I think Lil Rounds had the best over all performance. I did not really get into Adam this week because I think he is over-doing his screeching thing. I would love to hear him do an Aerosmith song though in the future. I think he would be great. However if he keeps doing that high thing on every song I am going to hope he gets kicked off. It was cool on the rolling stones song, but I'm bored now. Sorry.

I watched it last night as well and I thought it was a good show. Alexis and Lil' were really great. As for Adam I thought I was the only one who was wierded out by his performance. He reminded me of Ozzy Osbourne a little.

I think he just needs to tone it down a whole lot, IDK with this whole "twist" with the judges there is something going on. They are going to get to pick who get eliminated I think, I guess we will see what happens.

I agree. I don't want the judges to pick and choose who gets to make it and who doesn't but since they are the people they are in the music business so to speak, I guess its inevitable.
I here the twist is going to be that the judges can veto an elimination. Furthermore, removing the shock elimination. I'm not sure of anything else, but I figure they can only use it once. I think that is much better than them choosing who loses from the bottom three. Even though some would say they do that already.
I think Adam is going to be another "Fantasia" some people loved her some people thought she was the worst singer in the world.
Also I think its stupid for the judges to start this now after 8 seasons. This is after all "American Idol" We should choose.
I think they're eliminating 2 people tonight, to keep on schedule.

I agree, I felt so bad for Jorge. I love Anoop, so I guess one had to go, but they did not have to do it like that.
I wish Simon would've been nicer to Jorge, too. I don't see why they even let him in the top 12 anyway. The only reason I could justify is that they needed at least one person that they wouldn't be sorry to see eliminated early. I wouldn't have picked Jasmine for the top 12, either. I wish Ricky Braddy would've made the top 12. ****... I would've picked Tatiana over Jorge.
Anyway... I agree with the new veto because we did, indeed, have contestants that went home too early on too many occasions. I also agree with the rule that they can only use it once and only up until there are 5 of them left. If they're able to use it after they've reached the top 5, then they might as well be able to pick the winner. The veto rule wouldn't have helped Chris Daughtry since there were only 4 of them left at that point in time, but I think season 5 was an anomaly to begin with.
I don't watch this show regularly (which skews my opinion a bit), but I didn't think Jorge was good at all this past week. Was he amazing during Hollywood week or something?

I think he is good, but different sounding to us, because he's trying to cover his accent. I like him because (NOT to sound like Paula...) he really does sing to sing from his heart. And he just seems just like a genuinely sweet hard working guy. I hope he can find another avenue to take with his career.

Plus he was just so darn cute when he got in and he was speaking spanish. He was so excited to be there.
I am thinking this year is going to be different from the rest, as far as there being a clear leader, There is not one. There are so many different types and ranges of voices this season, I think it is going to be really good. For instance I kept telling my husband last night that Alexis, Lil, and Danny were top three. But, I keep changing my mind, Matt and Kris are good. Anoop could blow people away with the right song, and Megan has such a different tone to her. The only one I am not liking at all is Adam.
