I don't have very many people performing tonight that I thoroughly enjoyed or remember, so it will be interesting to watch. Agreed Phoenix. If Nick Mitchell makes the top 12, I will be very upset.

are we sure its coming on tonight. i thought it wasnt because of the SOTU with Obama?

I thought it was coming on tomorrow and Thursday, I think that's what Ryan said last week.

It would be Jordin Sparks all over again.

The first guy struck out on the first note. The entire song sounded horrible in that key/pitchy voice and his attempt at soul was weak... Maybe Paula will like it.

Bacchus struck again. She liked it. And Viva la Vida is not the type of song to sing on AI.

I think Matt will be one of the ones that comes back for Wild Card. Jasmine's voice just isn't developed enough. She's definitely got the look and the attitude like the judges said, but her voice ain't strong enough.

Girl #2. Chorus too weak [strike]although the performance did have some redeeming qualities[/strike] and she has nice legs.

I think Jeannine is another one that should get another chance in the wild card round. I think her voice has the potential to pull off a Whitney or a Mariah song if she truly focuses. Definitely the wrong song choice tonight. She did a song that she was "familiar" with. It was definitely a karaoke sounding performance.

Who in the world is this on my tv screen right now and is this some kind of a joke?

Norman is awful. How can this show take it self seriously if it lets a guy like him onto the big stage?
