Frank & Jillian prevailing over those loser Vets was enough for me to give it a high grade.
Those two were one of the best things about that season. They were treated horribly by their teammates for no reason, which made no sense because they were the best players on the Rookies team. It was great to see them win. The other rookies, not so much. Rachel from RW: Austin is the worst champion of all time. She sucked in most of the challenges and I still can't believe she never even got to see an elimination. Johanna, Rachel and Tori were annoying as hell on that season.
Melinda was wretched as well.  When she said she was the second best girl on the team, it was embarrassing.  Bitch, you were third best on a team with only 2 good female competitors & the rest were shit.

Lol she really screwed herself when she had a tantrum and screamed "I will backstab every last fucking one of you!" Dumb move.
Gauntlet 3 is easily the worst challenge of all time. I can't think of any redeeming qualities.
G3/The Island/D2/The Ruins was a very dark, awful time in this show's history. Duel 2 wasn't bad but it was kinda boring & it didn't play out like it should have with all those partner missions (plus CT & Adam being dumbasses). Evan's corny trash ass also got WAY too many confessionals & screentime (this was normal with this era of awful though, his friends J & K also got special treatment to send his show into the gutter).
Yeah, Melinda was too dimwitted for her threats to be taken seriously.  Good try though, girl.

I think the show became a lot better when Evan and Kenny stopped appearing because we got to see a lot of new RW cast members shine and take the spotlight for once.

The problem with The Island, Duel 2 and Ruins is that it had 3 or 4 people that made those seasons unbearable (any combination of JEK, Paula), but otherwise those seasons had great casts. The Duel 2 cast is debatable since it had a couple duds, but it had a couple nice surprises like Landon, Ruthie, Rachel, etc.  And Evan getting all the screentime on Duel 2 made my blood boil. Even on the intro for that season he was the main focus.
Evan's ugly face is the reason why Duel 2 is my second most hated season.  Even Landon & Rachel couldn't salvage that mess.  At least we know evan went out like the scum he was.  His "legacy" will forever be tarnished.  With toothpaste.

You really have a deep hatred for some people on this show lol It's just a reality show.
Don't put words in my mouth.  I never said I hated them.  I hate their presence on the show though.

Completely agree with this.
Don't assume, bro.

Agree 100% Evan and his two asshole friends made those seasons( and that era in general) outright terrible with their blandness and stupidity and unchallenged control of the game. I can't tell you how happy I was E and K got banned because it then lead the way for the newer RW seasons to be properly represented.

Who cares? They deserve to be hated. Given how they killed this show.

I agree about The Duel 2. I hated that Evan was the focus and that draged that season down alot. There's also the fact that it was just boring as shit and forgettable.

HA!  DA, I love you.  You just don't give a SHIT.  I agree totally.
I never really understood why people hate that the vets kept Casey, yet got rid of Coral. They don't like her and can still win without Coral so why not? Same as people saying in the spoilers thread about getting rid of Bananas as he isn't a necessity in a final. I would give Gauntlet 3 a C, at the most.   I would also say people do take their hatred of castmemebrs on here too far and like it gets uncomfortable when you realize this is just a  reality tv show.

I forgot about Nehemiah, he was cool. He never treated Frank and Jillian badly like the other girls. I don't get why Tori tried so hard to get Frank off the team when he was their best competitor.

For me it was just the hypocrisy and BS of it all. You can't sit here and talk about "triming the fat" and then get rid of your stronger people while not going after the actual fat on your team who is an actual liability than said strong person/people ever would be. If they had just said that they wanted Coral gone because they didn't like her or she didn't put out or something then that would be different but they just decided to pull this bs thing that didn't make sense and just made them look stupid. And Again..So what? It's not like anyone is actually coming after these people in real life or something. It's not a big deal and if it bothers you so much then don't read it.
The problem I had with The Gauntlet 3 is that the cast was WAY TOO BIG. 32 people? 16 people in the final?  I could've done without Adam/Eric/Zach/Tyrie/Diem/Casey/Rachel/Brooke

Exactly. Plus I don't think anybody here really HATES these people, they just think they're wack/useless/awful.

Because Tori, much like the overwhelming majority of that cast, was an idiot. I'm glad Frank/Jillian made it to the end & won but I would've loved to have seen Tori's face had they been sent home & she realizes that her dumbass is now at the bottom of the totem pole & she would be going into the rest of the female Gauntlets.

And watch her go in and lose and then at the final Frank/Jillian/Nehemiah end up winning if Eric is still on. That would've been so perfect.

That's true, but Casey was never an actual liability and was capabale of being carried to the end. We all know everything about the Big Easy mess, I'm pretty sure they mentioned wanting Coral gone because they don't like her as well.   Obviously not, but the way people go in on castmembers becomes too much. Like when news of Paula being preggers broke, people still couldn't even put their disdain aside and still bashed her. Like I don't even like Paula at all, but I could be mature about it. It gets to be uncomfortable that people type "xyz is a disgusting, ugly, patheitc excuse". I definitely try my hardest to read over it, but address it when it gets too far.
