Frank was awesome. We could've had him on Seasons 2 but they combined the 2 Vegas seasons they were supposed to have.

I'm still tryna figure out where tf Sarah is

Probably going to the bathroom. According to her podcast or whatever, they each got a bathroom break one-by-one every few hours.

Didn't Darrell not go into elimination rounds for 3/4 of those wins? And won 2 lifeshields total on those 3 challenges? Darrell's one of my favorites of all time and one of the best to ever do it...but I find this argument of how Darrell's wins are so much more impressive than Johnny's very confusing...especially when Darrell is given credit as the original "fly under the radar and show up for the final" guy.

You do have a point about Darrell and you can argue he was on stacked teams and Aviv was a solid partner. I just can't consider the Island and the Ruins to be real challenges. And it's been referred to many times that Kenny and Wes had a much bigger lead on Tyler/Bananas on Rivals. I do think he earned his Exes 1 and Free Agents wins though.

I can see why you don't consider The Island to be a real challenge but The Ruins? Why?

Because the Challengers were at a huge disadvantage from the get go. Brad and Diem were the only established competitors on that team. The rest of the players were either new to the game or just average to terrible. The Champions side though had JEK, Wes, Darrell, Derrick, Syrus, Ev, Susie, and Veronica. And that season played out exactly how I pictured it. The Champions never got tested. And yes, Bananas did beat Dunbar in the Ruins. But, I stil l feel like that season was too unfair.

I know this was the challenge right after CT beat up Adam so castmembers may have been scared of him, but he should have been on the Challengers team.

CT/Brad/Adam K/Cohutta/Dunbar/Chet/Scott from Brooklyn(boring but could have been a good competitor)

Paula/Jenn/Diem/KellyAnne/Sarah/Kim/Aneesa

No useless Casey, Shauvon, or Nick Brown. That team might have stood a better chance but even with that I still favor the Champions.

BATTLE OF THE SEXES 1

This challenge was one of the single best seasons ever. IMO every single person that consider themselves a challenge fan should watch this season. To me this show represents everything this show SHOULD be about: Drama, competition, fun, and excitement.

This season pits the boys against the girls and competition, and fun ensures. They compete in missions and at the end there is a scoreboard where the top 3 people from both teams forms the inner circle and votes off someone. The guys ended up creating a simple strategy: vote of the person who is on the bottom of the scoreboard whereas the women took a different route and voted off people based on whom didn't like whom and whom threatened whom etc. There was also a lifesaver given to the dailly mission winners which they could use to save one team member from being voted out. Best thing about it is the boys came out on top af the end.

There was so many moments that made this season so good. Pucks spitting in David's face, Pucks Wedding, Jisela yelling WHERE THE FUCK IS JOHNNY!, Rachel's vote off, Jamie saving Veronica with the lifesaver(only to go home still) Battle of the Opposite Sexes, Puck fucking up the guys villa then leaving, Puck vs Ellen, Emily in general, Antoine being told that he has a nice boner by one of the mission oversers during the Human Aquarium mission, Antoine asking Syrus what country from Africa he was from, Ruthie in general, and so much more!.

Another thing that was so good about this challenge is that pretty much everyone got some sort of screentime and given that this cast was large at 36 people and the show was 30 minutes(Barring the premire) that's a fucking feat. Litterally the only one that was really ignored is Jamie(New Orleans 1) and even he got some time here and there. The show wasn't centered around one person..this season it took the whole cast to make a good show and you know what? THAT'S how it should be.

And the missions were fun as hell too. Battle of the Opposite Sexes, Seargent Says, stairway to heaven etc. They were all fun and not all that extreme and I loved that. It showed that you didn't need heights and water in order to make it interesting.

So in conclusion this season was amazing and one hell of a show. It wasn't as intense as the shows are now but it was damn fun and entertaining and that's what counted in the end. If only we got challenges as good as this now..

Battle of the Sexes was great. And the intro was amazing. That stretch from Battle of the Sexes to Inferno was my favorite era of the challenges. Battle of the Sexes 2 didn't follow up well but that season was still better than any of the JEK era and the challenges now.

Oh man I forgot to talk about the Intro! That was one of the best intros this show has ever seen as well. It really illistrated the fun of this season.

For Me Battle of the Seasons-The Gauntlet 2 is the best strecth of challenges. It all went downhill after that(Barring a few seasons).

Since Debut said we can submit our own entry, I guess I’ll do one.

THE CHALLENGE: CUTTHROAT

Besides it being the first challenge that I ever watched, thus triggering some nostalgia, there are many reasons Cutthroat is one of my favorite seasons. First off, the casting was great. It had a great mix of vets, regulars, and rookies, which made for an interesting dynamic (and no JEK, just Bananas who didn’t even make the final lmao). As for the format, it was great and I loved the fresh, new idea of three teams. The secret ballot voting definitely allowed for people (especially rookies) to make their own decisions and not be mindless followers. This season also proved a theme isn’t needed to produce great drama, as each episode was the perfect combination of drunken bickering/fighting, competition, and politics. I loved the daily missions, but even more so the eliminations. Handcuffs, Back Up Off Me, Die Hard, Swat, and Pole Me Over all made for interesting eliminations. The gulag itself is one of my favorite elimination locations, too. I really hope they re-use this format again because I wholeheartedly believe it could help introduce some much neeed RW rookies that have yet to make their debut, or even those who need to return. Oh, and last but not least, it gave us the single-handly best elimination: CT carrying Bananas like a backpack. It'll go down as one of the most iconic Challenge moments of all time, and even better, it was at Bananas’ expense.

Yaaaas cutthroat love!

Yeah the Cutthroat format was refreshing and we weren't in for another JEK filled season. I don't know why production decided to have a million Rivals seasons instead of trying out another Cutthroat.

Now I kinda want to rewatch Cutthroat lol.

I do all the time haha. Thankfully the episodes on Dailymotion are HD quality, too.

No I understand that. But it WAS a challenge that had actual challenges and elimination rounds. I absolutely understand why people say The Island was not a real challenge because you had a Champion from that season lose the only thing they competed in all season (Kenny). As bad and lopsided as The Ruins was, it was still a challenge. And as much as people want to hate Johnny, he is the only Champion guy who actually got his hands dirty the entire game.

And I will say, as far as competition wise, it doesn't get worse than The Ruins, but drama and cast wise, IN MY OPINION, it was the best. I know you don't like Johnny, Evan, and Kenny, but I thought The Ruins provided good drama that brought real life rivalries to light and the drama that had built up over years exploded. The Wes/Darrell fight, the love pentagon, Wes vs. The Champions, pretty much almost everything up until Wes being eliminated was interesting TO ME. I understand your views and that you didn't find the Wes/Kenny rivalry interesting but I did until it they dragged it out on Fresh Meat II and Rivals. For them to literally format an entire season based on a rivalry of 2 people was stupid. I will say, as boring and one dimensional as Fresh Meat II was, that challenge was hands down the best strategic/political challenge to date. And that is my favorite thing to see on challenges and is something we don't see enough of anymore. They need shy away from the bullshit drunken house drama and focus more on startegic game drama. Which means stop casting people like Camila and Simone.

He's the same guy that says that people that actually appear on the show are non-castmembers so yeah don't waste your time.

I can agree with most of this. I would have loved to see Ibis replaced with someone else like Cara or Julie. I would have loved to see how Julie interacted with Johnny, Evan, and Kenny. And Johnny would have lost his mind by having to be on a team with both Susie and Cara again. Katie should have been replaced with Rachel. And as cool as it was to see Syrus again, I could have gone witht him. Would have liked to see him replaced with someone like Abram or Alton. Derrick was also just kinda there and was never placed in a story line either so I would have replaced him too.

If I were to have casted The Ruins, I would have made it 16 players on each team and it would have looked like this.

Champions:
Abram, Alton, Darrell, Evan, Frank, Johnny, Kenny, Wes
Cara, Evelyn, Johanna, Julie, Rachel, Susie, Tonya, Veronica

Challengers:
Adam, Brad, Chet, Cohutta, Dan, Danny, Dunbar, Scott
Aneesa, Brianna, Diem, Jenn, KellyAnne, Kimberly, Sarah, Svetlana

I wasn't serious with that response.....

And That's fine that you found The Ruins drama entertaining and that's fine. I'm not mad at that at all. I just didn't. Alot of it was angering and depressing to watch IMO. But it's cool that you like it. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

But I do agree with you last point. Despite being a shitty season Fresh Meat 2 was strategy minded and that was one thing I liked about that season. I also agree that they need to start getting back to that and quit with these pointless drunken fights. I get that this is reality tv and drama is needed but you can get that from the competition as well. One way to do that IMO is to make it so EVERYONE can affect the game like they could in both Fresh Meat seasons via the voting format. And like you said....stop casting people who just make pointless noise basically.

With that cast The Ruins still would've been lopsided. In order for That season to work on a competitive level The Champions vs Challengers format needs to be done away with completly and do Old School vs New School. Teams would've been better Balanced and there would make the game more interesting.

This is all my opinion.

Ruthie should've been on the Challengers team in place of Diem.

Ikr? Wack ass Diem that season.

JAY.

I know I might get some shit for this one but whatever. Jay is another one that I didn't really care for on his RW season but ended up liking him on the challenges. I also feel like he gets more hate than he deserves. On his RW season he was a shitty cheesball and bascially deserved all the crap he got on The Reunion. When he came on Exes 2 he seemed like he turned over a new leaf. He wasn't a shitty and he pretty much was just chill and competed well enough. This doesn't get talked about alot when it comes to him but he was really was a great partner to Jenna. He never berated her and he never insulted her either. He always encouraged her and pretty much had her back when it came to the missions and I really liked that because it showed that he was able to put his past with her aside and just work with the girl. Also I didn't like when Jenna kept talking shit about him. Like I get that he did you wrong and just did not respect you in your relationship but he's your partner and he's the only one you can count on. Besides he could be alot worse to you.

He had this odd hook up with Jonna because Jenna and Zach were banging which was cringeworthy. Then all the other teams agreed to keep him and Jenna as a Layup. So he gets to the final and quits because he couldn't get down a nasty drink. Look, I'm not gonna pretend that I wasn't a bit dissapointed in him for quitting(because it would've been cool to see him and Jenna take it all) but ultimatley it was whatever for me. Mainly because he tried and that's really all you can ask for. Could he have done it better? Perhaps but whatever. It is what it is. Besides, that's what he and Jenna were dragged to the final to do anyways.

Which is also why I don't get why people on The Reunion gave him shit..like they gave him shit for doing the very thing they wanted him to do(well maybe it wasn't exact but he was brought to the final because they knew they could beat him and wouldn't be a threat...and he wasn't)So they can't sit there and yell at him for qutting. And it really pissed me off When Backpack and Nia came for him too..like first off. He made the final regardless of how he got there. They didn't. That's not his fault that ya'll couldn't do what you were supposed to do as competitors. Win the fucking elimination Next Time Backpack and keep your hands to yourself nextime Nia. I wish Jay Dragged both of them to hell and back right then and there.

But yeah..Jay's cool people. I wouldn't remind him returning at all.

I remember when exes 2 came on i thought jenna and jay were from ayto. i had never heard of ayto or saw explosion so i was like who tf are these ppl. but jay never really bothered me. but now after those dumbass tweets he made a few wks back i dont care about him anymore.

Yeah..those tweets brought his stock down alot with me as well. I still wouldn't trip if he returned though.

DEVIN

This may be a shocking entry but I feel like this guy is the only one that has proven to be worth a damn out of all the AYTO that has appeared on this show. He can be willing to take chances as he spoke about pulling all the white skulls out of the bag until he got a black one and go into elimination..Pulling a Jordan bascially. Bad Idea but hey..he's willing to go do distance. He also has the potential to be an funny dude as he's made me chuckle a few times during Rivals 3. Plus he's anti Backpack and Vince and he's seems cool as hell in real life as evidence on his Facebook chat live. THen he hates all of AYTO 2 which is perfection in my eyes.

Now I do think that he can be a strategic force in the game but I do think that he's gonna need a better parnter or the rules need to change so someone like him can thrive(The Fresh Meat voting system could really allow him to show his stuff).

Considering how pathetic Nate and Brandon looked this challenge, Jay wasn't that bad. I'm not a fan but I don't mind him coming back.

Some hate Devin, but he so far has shown the most potential from the AYTO group. He needs to work on his physical and political game, but I root for anyone that isn't another sheep for Backpack.

That's also a good point..I mean Brandon looked way worse than Jay ever did and while Nate had a better showing they guy admitted to playing for 3rd...we don't need people like that on this show.

And I agree about Devin. I wouldn't mind them just givng him the Camilla treatment and have him being the only AYTO person they use from here on out.

Devin needs to be a regular for the next few seasons.
