Haha I know I'm probably they only one but I love Country, that's right country. Not only the new stuff but old country like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and my all time favorite Willie Nelson. Ohh I can't forget Hank Williams Jr., Alabama, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty. I guess I am old school, but there are some song's that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Stay~ Lisa Loeb Mr. Jones~Counting Crowes No Rain~ Blind Melon

Also I had an unnatural obsession with Dolly Parton growing up (I think it was because she looked like a giant barbie doll). More recently I bought Rissi Palmer some people say she's not technically country but I liked it alot.

Right now I happen to be listening to My Sacrifice by Creed....lol Yeah I don't have it in me to make a list right now.
Patsy is another one I forgot, she had a beautiful voice.
OMG, my mom is like the biggest Patsy fan ever...and she would always play her songs and sing along to them...I remember rolling my eyes as a kid, But I LOVE her now...brings back great memories. Funny story but one time that she was singing along in the car to her cassette tape "Crazy" was on and I was about 5...I told her that I wish that stupid tape would just go "blah blah blah" and all of a sudden at that very second the radio "ate" the tape and ejected the ruined tape so I grabbed it and tossed it out the window on instinct...it was so hilarious.

I grew up listening to Conway Twitty, Patsy Cline, George Jones, and that whole crew.

I have the broadest tastes in music and have pretty much everything on my iTunes (which would take waaaaaay too long to post)...but I'll give some of these bands I haven't heard of a try.
What's the best concert you've ever been to?
Bob Seger. What about you?
First concert I ever attended... Stevie Ray Vaughn!!! It doesn't really get any better than that. I have been to a lot of Rock Concerts...I have seen so many bands at festivals and stuff I couldn't even begin to name them...But I have also seen a few other genres.
Great conversation in here. I would make a list but everyone has covered a lot of what I would post. When I get to work I put my ipod on shuffle. I have about 7000 songs on it so its like having my own eclectic radio station. Though right now I was in the mood for Lily Allen's new album - "Its not me, its you" - I love it! I've been to a million concerts in my life. Some that stand out and that I've seen several times - Tool, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Phish, Lollapalooza, Clapton, Rolling Stones, The Killers, Far- too many to mention.
A few Bands that stand out in my mind for putting on a good show... My Chemical Romance Flyleaf 30 Seconds to Mars

Might explain a lot...
One of the best concerts I've ever been to was Green Day. They know how to put on a show...and they weren't even the main event!
A few Bands that stand out in my mind for putting on a good show... My Chemical Romance Flyleaf 30 Seconds to Mars
Flyleaf was awesome live! I saw them at a very small venue in Grand Rapids MI. I love that you've seen them too. The best concerts Ive been to are: NKOTB. haha Flyleaf Goo Goo Dolls Justin Timberlake Christina Agueliera Missy Elliot REO Speedwagon
Smokin Grooves concert - the line up was The Roots, Outkast, Jurassic 5, Lauryn Hill best concert I've been to, people who say that hip hop isn't about music and live instrumentation should check out these bands Lilith Fair 98 - best atmosphere, great acts, too many to name, empowering Dave Matthews Band - almost ruined by Macy Gray's drunk a-- falling off the stage but other than good times, amazing band, one of those bands I think everyone should see live before they die U2 Elevation Tour, No Doubt was the opening act - brilliant show
Oh yeah I saw Destiney's Child when it was just Beyonce and Kelly...right around all the new member drama started and they were very good...even just those 2 alone. Flyleaf...it was the guitarist that made the show imo...Lacey is great but she pretty much just stands there.
A few Bands that stand out in my mind for putting on a good show... My Chemical Romance
I HAVE to see MCR next time they tour. I also want to go to see Panic at the Disco next time they tour. As for this year I am hoping to see Blink-182 this year assuming they come to this area. (their last album was amazing!) But I am definetly going to see The Killers in September. My wife and I are psyched but even more so now since our son, who will be 9 soon, wants to go with us. It will be his first big concert. (aside from the High School Musical concert a few years ago and Maroon 5 at the state fair)

Flyleaf is absolutely amazing. That's weird that she stood there. I saw them at Family Values with Korn, Evanescence, and Atreyu and she stole the show. In 105 degree weather she was jumping off of like 15 ft. speakers. OPD, agreed on the 80's. I may be a 90's kid, but nothing beat 80's.

Among some awesome concerts I've been to: Pat Benetar Chicago (minus Peter Cetera so Boooo on them) REO Speedwagon Journey Foreigner Toto and......get ready for one of the most awesome 80's concerts I ever saw (even though it was 2006).... EDDIE MONEY!!! He rocked
Eddie Money is cool, but Pat Benatar is definitely the best! I am definitely a HUGE fan of Eurythmics/Annie Lenox. Beautiful!
Pat Benatar is hella cool. I loved Hit Me With Your Best Shot and All Fired Up
I HAVE to see MCR next time they tour. I also want to go to see Panic at the Disco next time they tour.
I saw them right before they Blew up...they are so sweet and adorable imo...I was hanging with them chit chatting and I asked them to sign my jeans and they didn't want to "de-value" them with thier signatures...but then they gave in finally, LOL. They are really great. I saw them when I saw 30 Seconds to Mars and they signed the same jeans...I got all tounge twisted around Jared Leto but I got a hug and kiss anyway!! LOL. I think I also saw Avenged Sevenfold that day as well.
Kelly is so talented, to bad Beyonce gets all the spotlight. Flyleaf is absolutely amazing. Yeah when I saw Flyleaf, Lacey just stood there in this really cute white dress while the Guiotarist was jumpng off of speakers and risers...man he was out of control and it was awesome! I LOVE THE 80's!! Anything 80's is great in my book...Anytime I love the 80's comes of Vh1 I am glued to the tv to listen tot he songs, LOL.
