Nah Dev, it isnt called unintelligent. My point was you didnt workout before the challenge. I'm also going to assume you knew what challenges were and knew that they were competitve and take a lot of physical strength and endurance to win one. To me if you dont workout and get yourself in shape, then you arent trying to win. I'm sorry for offending you, that wasnt my intention. I actually think you have a good body and a build that, if you did decide to workout, could be an athlete.
And how do you know she didn't work out? Because 'they' said she didn't?
Sarah's not elite but there's a long list of "capable" or even "elite" players that haven't won or needed more than 5 to win. It took Brad 8 tries to win. CT's failed 8 times, Derrick failed his first 5 times like Sarah, Aneesa still hasn't won, Diem hasn't won, Jenn hasn't won. Hell, even Emily & Laurel haven't won yet. The word "capable" means "having the ability to achieve something"--Sarah does have it. We'll see if she ever does. I have no idea what to expect from Devyn but I don't think she's going to be a liability that some are suggesting.
I'm quite aware of what the word 'capable' means. For that matter, they all are.
Exactly...It's not the fact that she's done so many...it's that she's done so many but yet adds absolutley NOTHING to any of the challenges she's done....Except plant herself firmly in JEK's ***. I also didn't like that she and Chet were badmouthing Devyn behind her back. Chet and Sarah aren't all that good either and probably didn't work out all that much themselves.
I don't know about Chet, but I'll disagree with you on Sarah...she seems to have a very active lifestyle.
I'm not bothered by Sarah being on 6 challenges in a row. At least she's not a dick and arrogant.
Has there ever been a less interesting person to be on 6 challenges? Big Easy? Adam King? I'd vote Sarah.
Well MTV and BMP probably disagree with that opinion seeing that they have asked her back 6 times in a row.
Sarah is like Paula, she is cheap and begging BMP to let her on everyone. I wouldn't be surprised if she was sleeping with someone in casting. She has her shots, she's ready to go. She is an easy goto target for BMP.

You are entitled to have that opinion, but you also need to be respectful that she is a member and belongs under the same standards members do. This includes insults. So she gets called back. So what. Obviously someone in casting sees something in her. Physically, she's a decent to above-average female competitor when compared to those around her and has a good track record. If you were Sarah and had the opportunity for a free vacation and guaranteed money, are you telling me you wouldn't take it? You'd say "Thanks for that 6k you're offering, but I'll pass"?
I have already stated that I do not blame her for being on every challenge. I would do the same if I were in her position. I blame BMP for inviting her back, when quality people want to be given the chance to compete like Coral and Raquel. Hopefully she will just be a background figure again, complaining she wants to win during confessionals and people like Trishelle can have the spotlight.

And even if they wanted to do it, they'd need three other people who'd also agree. Didn't work this season, but maybe next time.
Ugh why couldn't they get Scott and Ryan instead of boring JD and Chet. The girls are ok in my book, but the guys ruin me liking this Brooklyn team. Too bad JD and Chet can't be sent into an elimination round together so both those fools could go home.
I'm a huge fan a Sarah and I think she keeps getting dealt a bum deck. Katlyn is probably the worst competitor I've ever seen on this show and Sarah was partnered with her how many times? Even Evelyn couldn't win with her as a partner. She was partnered with Vinny last time and she got sent home cause of him. And I'm sorry but this is devyns first challenge and chet and jd are ok but they're not amazing. Sarah just can't win. I'll always remember cutt throat and I know Sarah is a great team member, competitor and probably the strongest member on her team. If Brooklyn didn't have Sarah on their team they wouldn't stand a chance. That's how I feel. I watch this show with a group of friends, and they pretty much aggree. To be fair they only started watching with me since battle of the exes, and have huge bias to my opinions lol, but I like Sarah. Needs to be said.
I thought Devyn did OK in the first mission.

She's not the superwoman she would have people believe she is. Wake up.

Evelyn couldn't reach a final with Luke or Danny--and Evelyn is elite--no one is claiming that Sarah is elite. Sarah's solid. These aren't "excuses"--she's had awful partners. When she hasn't had to rely on a partner she has made every final--yes?
I agree with your point on Sarah being solid, but your comparison wasn't that good.
Why wasn't it good? It showed that even an elite player can't overcome poor partners so how is a solid player going to overcome the same issue? The only person that ever won with a poor partner was Landon--that's it. And Landon may be the best physical competitor ever. Hell, and Carley may not be as bad as we think since she only did one challenge--hard to truly judge.

If it had been similar to FM2, Danny and Evelyn probably destroy Wes and Casey. 2. On FM2 Evelyn and Luke barely lost to the team that won it all, and knew the course forwards and backwards, courtesy of CJ throwing the elimination round. A more apt comparison for Sarah would have been Wes for Rivals/Exes. On Rivals, Wes looked good (aside from the Final, where he and Kenny were robbed from a victory), largely due to having a good teammate. On Exes though, his teammate was only average, and they went home early. Sarah's failure on FM2 was her own fault though, she picked her partner based on looks and not ability. I would say that is the only time you could blame her for not making the Final.

Of course those picks aren't easy at the time--Darrell took Cara Maria over Laurel for example. Hell, Theresa went after Sandy & Mandi. Nothing you stated altered the fact Evelyn lost those. Sarah & Vinny lost to Kenny & Laurel--that's not any worse than Landon & Carley and she absolutely had no control over Vinny getting kicked off, right? You can use Wes if you prefer but the Evelyn comparison works even if you don't see it.
Guys, this thread is about the Brooklyn team, not what happened on FM or FM 2.
I don't like this team so far. I know it was only the premiere, but I just don't like the personalities of the people on this team and I don't think any of them are particularly strong (with the exception of Sarah, but I don't think she's THAT good)
I'm not a fan of this team either. The only redeemer is Sarah for me and you are right she is not THAT good. But we'll see won't we? lol but I doubt they get too far.
Chet is ridiculous and I hope he is out fast. I can't stand even looking at him. Sarah is okay but whiny. The other two I don't care about.
Chet is ridiculous and I hope he is out fast. I can't stand even looking at him. Sarah is okay but whiny. The other two I dont care about.
Yes, thank you. Compared with Chet, Sarah is downright likeable. Chet is one of the most loathsome, irritating individuals to appear on the challenges. I hope he goes out quick & in humiliating fashion.
It's funny how Chet and CJ are acting like they're both running the show when they've been on a combined 3 challenges. The problem with not having many vets is that weak/mediocre players who would never have control in a game if some of the big dogs were there. Although they're both much more qualified to run the show than Danny.
I adore Devyn, and there's only been one episode so far. I feel like I could be her best friend. She was hilarious in her interviews and even seemed to be friendly with the rest of the cast on this challenge. Even Chet (who isn't her biggest fan apparently) finds her "cooler" then he remembered. I cannot wait to see more of her! :) Also, for someone who doesn't work out - she did pretty well in the first challenge and has an athletic look. Good genes girl!
Hahah thank you :-) I'm not as bad/incapable as many would think... but then again the smart ones know that :-)
I'm not really surprised to see you doing well, Devyn. If I remember correctly, back when Brooklyn premiered, most people on here said you looked like the most athletic girl on your cast.
Loving this team. Rooting for them and/or NOLA.
Gotta love the underdogs! I am team Devyn/Brooklyn all the way!
