Chuck: Ep. 2 - Chuck Versus the Helicopter I thought that the entertainment value of episode 2 fell off quite a bit. There was more action and less comedy. What laughs there were only garnered a lowly giggle from me although the scene with the table cloth was quite funny. It seems as though they are trying hard to make this a comedy/action hybrid and in truth they should just really focus on the comedy part. The previews for next week look good, so I am going to keep rolling with this one for now.

Re: Chuck Episode 2 I have to say that I'm a little hooked on Chuck. Zachary Levi does a great job in it, although I can't help but still picture him as the pretentious, tight sphincter Kip on 'Less Than Perfect'.

Re: Chuck Episode 2 Trust me, he did an excellent job in "Less Than Perfect". If you ever find a running of the show, watch it. He's excellent!

Re: Chuck Episode 2 I thought there was still a nice balance of comedy and action. Where most of the comedy is coming during the action. For some strange reason that car gives me a good chuckle every time they use it. It's just a funny looking car. lol The only things I'm not too keen on are the secondary characters: the sister's boyfriend/husband and the best friend. They seem pointless to the plot at this point. The best friend adds a bit of slap stick comedy but not much.

The "friend" is funny at times in his extremely small role although I get no pleasure at of his intendedly funny interaction with the sister. |
