Chuck: Ep. 08 - Chuck Versus the Truth

Normally I would wait on Bacchus to start a discussion, he is much better at opening things.

But gosh darn it, I guess he's busy.

Number one, the term "Lady Tang" was a bit crude and gawdy. Not so funny in my books. I just have to say that.

I was a bit sad about the turn of events, but at the same time I like the idea of Chuck going out and sowing some wild oats. He needs to gain a bit more experience, ya know what I mean.

I never really noticed but I guess Sarah never did blurt out any truths last night while she was 'poisoned' How she was immune and not Casey, I have no idea. I guess their organizations don't share all their secrets.

I have to say that I was a bit shocked with the exit of Tang. I wasn't really expecting that they would dispose of Chuck and Morgan's work nemesis that way or that early.

I must run...Bacchus, Katie...Astro or anyone, come talk with me.

I actually was ok with it because now we really know that Sarah has a thing for Chuck. When she first said no under the pentathol my heart sank, but they used an "easy out" at the end to fix things. Now we will get to see how much Sarah really likes him and I think that the payoff is going to be bigger now when it comes. My best bet is that Lou is probably a spy too and of the enemy variety. Only time will tell!

C.S. Lee also does Dexter and I am wondering if he decided that one serial was enough. They didn't kill him off and he didn't just disapear - so maybe that means it was just a mutual decision with him and production.

I bet we see him in one more episoe some time in the far off future...

Overall I thought this episode was great. I think the writers are really hitting on all cylinders with the romance, the comedy and the action.
