Mozilla Firefox Technical Support

I'm not sure if I asked this already but I'm still having the problem.

My brother and his fiance use my computer all the time and Firefox 3.0 autotypes my personal bookmarks in when you are entering a URL.

How can I make it STOP doing that?? It only does it for things I have saved, but I just don't want them to see where I go or what I type where. Any ideas of how to make it not be annoying? lol

Completely disable the autocomplete list so roommates do not pull up your porn bookmarks.

If you would rather not have Firefox display autocomplete results at all:
  1. In the Location bar, type about:config, and press EnterReturn.
    • The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. Click
I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.
  2. Search for the preference browser.urlbar.maxRichResults.
  3. Double-click the browser.urlbar.maxRichResults preference and enter a value of -1.
  4. From the menu at the top of the Firefox windowbar, select FileFirefox and then select the ExitQuit FirefoxQuit menu item.
  5. Restart Firefox again.
Now when you type in the Location bar, no list of results will be shown.

I have never tried forefox because my Hubbie put it on his computer once and it really slowed it down and made it all whacked out.
