    Hahaha. That's really funny!

And really sad at the same time. It's bad enough Apple is selling the iPhone 5 at a 70% markup - but they will also nab many people with an adapter at a 3000% markup.

The adapter is pissing me off... I just bought a brand new accessory.

So you're telling me that the original iPhone and iPod was not innovative?

Not really. Both offered a better looking design to products that already existed. That along with Apple marketing made them sell. There was no real technological innovation. Apple didn't invent the MP3 player, or the smart phone. They didn't even invent the tablet. They were just able to sell these products with glitz and glitter marketing campaigns (which is genius.) They created lifelong fans that will buy their overpriced products even if they suck or are no different than the version before...

The only innovation that I'll give them credit for is Jonathan Ives making everything look glossy and pretty. Pretty sells.

If you want cutting edge innovation with a phone, look at the latest Android and Windows 8 offerings. These devices will have all sorts of cool stuff that will eventually find its way to an iPhone (albeit in a few years.)

Of course, this wouldn't be a discussion without having Android being innovative.. The Nokia Lumia 920 is the latest innovation.

Agreed! I'm a big fan of Windows 8 (although I mostly run linux on my devices.) The Lumia is one nice looking phone with the power of a real operating system (Windows 8 phone) inside.

It makes the iPhone look like a toy.
