Ok time out, is Motorola suing EVERYONE?! First they sued Microsoft for the Xbox and now they're suing Apple?

They are fighting a losing battle even though I like Motorola. And I had no idea they were suing Microsoft for the XBox. Why is that?

Honestly, everyone is suing everyone. It is an all out mobile patent war.

And don't get fooled by "Motorola sues Apple." Motorola mobility is now owed by Google and Google is a corporate giant.

Legend has it that Admiral Yamamoto made the following statement shortly after Japan’s 1941 bombing of Pearl Harbor: “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.” While the validity of the statement has never been verified, the principle remains that you should be careful that the enemy you try to tease and poke is not a lion ready to devour you.
The ‘Sleeping Giant’ May Have Awoken

China Contractor Again Faces Labor Issue on iPhones

Foxconn has acknowledged using student “interns” on manufacturing lines, but says they are free to leave at any time. But two worker advocacy groups said Monday that they had spoken with students who said they had been forced by their teachers to assemble iPhones at a Foxconn factory in Zhengzhou, in north-central China.
“They don’t want to work there — they want to learn,” said Mr. Li. “But if they don’t work, they are told they will not graduate, because it is a very busy time with the new iPhone coming, and Foxconn does not have enough workers without the students.”

I guess the good news is there will be enough new iPhones for everyone, right?

Apple's iPhone launches no longer excite

To use a car analogy, six years ago the iPhone was like a sexy new flagship model from BMW or Porsche. Today it's a Toyota Camry. Safe, reliable, boring. The car your mom drives. The car that's so popular that its maker doesn't dare mess with the formula.

That looks similar to my phone next to the iPhone (I have a Samsung Galaxy II). My favorite comment to iPhone users since I've had it is "ha, yours looks so small"!
