Does anyone else get driven crazy by the need of networks to pimp what is coming up in five minutes so that no one changes the channel? It drives me crazy, and I have never understood it. This is especially true with reality shows like Top Chef, Work Out, Kitchen Nightmares etc.

This is the primary reason I now refuse to watch anything but recorded television (except for news and sports.) I always have my remote in hand on the skip 30 second button when watching the recorded shows so I can zip past the spoilers. It is a minefield out there!

This practice is almost as annoying as shows that run 5 minutes late to purposely screw up DVR timers...
