No one here seems to use the live one, but I see a lot of people here throughout the day. Maybe you can't post in chat from work, maybe because others aren't in there you don't bother, maybe well who knows, just maybe. My thought therefore is that since people are hanging here anyway, maybe we could chat in here, post by post. If you want to start with your name, ie.

I am personally not a big chatter, unless I am watching hours on end of Big Brother Feeds and have nothing else to do.

That was the reason we created this site and added a chat room. We wanted a place to talk after the feeds went off line at the end of BB8. Then, everyone kind of scattered (as is always the case) until the next one comes along.

I have a feeling things will pick up as far as chat goes when BB9 launches this February.

Sigh! Ok. But it wouldn't have to be constant chatter. Just when you are around, feel compelled, are moved to by what other people spoke, have a need, .... Sigh. I'll deal, lol.

I hate to rain on your parade! There are others on this site that might have a different opinion, I was just offering mine.

I am more of an event chatter (like an hour after a specific show.) If I go into an open ended situation where I feel obligated to chat, I end up not being able to do other things and it kind of cramps my style. Even if you say I wouldn't be compelled to talk, I'd feel compelled to talk.

I don't even have an IM client installed on my laptop. I prefer to get an email.

ITS what are you asking here? If people want to chat in the chat room? Or for this thread to be for random chatter?

I think people would be open to having an off-topic miscellaneous thread where people could just go back and forth randomly about anything like weather or things of that nature.

For example: Man, is it every cold out there. We reached 20 below last night.

For me the Live Chat has many issues for why I don't go in it. #1 no one is ever there. #2 it's slow and frustrating. #3, we've tried to schedule chats and no one comes. I would be there in the evenings.

Just FYI the shout out box works well to just say 'hey' someone will respond. Last night four of us (well mainly 2) were chatting on it for quite a while.

I went to the oral surgeon today to have a consultation...I gotta have my wisdom teeth cut out on Feb 8th but he also said that I need to have my jaw broken and reset after I get my wisdoms removed and after I get braces and complete that process...basically I am looking at like 3 years of dental hell...starting next month.

I am scared
