The southern reference in my post refers to considering myself more like Sawyer. Not because I'm a con artist but because I'm southern. Bacchus said he was Jater because he related personally to Jack. I like Bacchus also have a TV crush on Kate so of course I want the character more like me to end up with her.

So what if Kate is a murderer, right? Doesn't she look like she has a great....um.....personality?

I wonder if women (I am sure we can scrounge one or two of them up around here for the purposes of this informal query) take a different perspective when viewing a program like Lost, then men. Do they hope Kate ends up with the guy they want to be with the most, rather then our male perspective of wanting the guy we relate with most being with Kate?

In other words are they choosing what is best for Kate?

I would pick the one I would most want to be with for Kate, and I would probably delude myself and think that would be the one one best for her.

Of course, she is Canadian after all.

And to answer Bacchus' question. As a woman, I want her with ....


Ack!

That's a toughie. Jack will never be completely content with her. He'll always doubt her. Sawyer, well the dude is smokin' hot. But he'll mess it up. It's in his genetic make-up. Bad boys can never go good and all that. Just like good boys can never really be bad.

Here is what I would like to see. I would like Kate to actually pick one over the other. Not end up with one by default. But there you have the female make-up. We will love the one we're with if we can't love the one we want.

Bacchus, it really does shock me that you liken yourself to Jack. I'm having a hard time rationalizing that.
