Lost: Episode 410 - Something Nice Back Home

Lost

Although there were not a lot of answers given in this episode, or maybe I missed them because I was so lost in the Jack and Kate romance. I really loved seeing them together, even if it didn't really last very long.

I think I'm starting to be able to piece together, or make sense, of the flash forward timelines. Going back to the very first flash forward at the end of Season 3, I can now understand most of what happened. Except of course of who was in the coffin and who the "he" is that Kate referred to.

Was it really Aaron? I know that we all have concluded that it must be because Sawyer didn't leave the island. But maybe he did come off the island after last night's flash forwards and before the one in Season 3. The way she said that she had to go "because you know how HE gets". Just seems odd for her to be talking about Aaron.

And WTF is up with Jack? Why can't he just be happy. Why is he so insecure when it comes to Kate and Sawyer? Arrggghhh! What on earth did Kate have to do for Sawyer that was so secretive that she couldn't tell Jack? So frustrating!

I really think the dead people visions are the manifestations of the Island and how it communicates with them. Lately it seems every information they gain is from a dead person. And not just any dead person, someone that the person is seeing has had some kind of profound connection.

Where the heck did Jack's dad take Claire and why was this the first time she saw him. And when does Jack find out that Claire is his sister. In the flash forward it was implied that he knew because when he was fighting with Kate, he said she wasn't even related to Aaron, implying that he was.

I'm starting to think that Claire doesn't die, but I still don't see how or why she would give up Aaron.

I have so many questions, but I love it. Lost is back and I feel the episodes are filled with enough answers to keep the story going and the viewers satisfied.

Now where can I find me a Jack to have some of that hot Jack/Kate sex?

That was a really great episode!

Okay, Bacchus, now post something to counteract my gibberish with something intelligent and profound.

Oh before I forget, I was really ticked at Juliet for once again opening her mouth, holy heck, what a ****h...but then she rectified it by saying that she knows that he really loves Kate and was only trying to prove that he wasn't. It just blows my mind that she was say that to Kate.

Nothing profound to say here Kathleen, other then I agree with your assessment. I loved this episode and being that I have always wanted to see Kate and Jack together (even if only for a fleeting moment in flash forward time) it resonated with me.

I am not sure why Charlie would pass along a message that Jack was not supposed to raise Aaron. You would think with him actually being related, that he would be the perfect choice. Blood is always thicker then water.

The thing is, I am not sure if he really knows that Claire is his half sister at this point in time. Yes, that is what the writers were trying to do. No, I don't believe it. I think it was said as a truth that didn't need larger meaning. Then again, maybe the reason that Jack didn't want to see Aaron in the first place was because it was the son of his fathers other child. I guess we will have to wait for that picture to become clearer although I remain skeptical about the obvious. That is a good thing when watching Lost!

It is too bad that Jack is always so damn sad. I am not sure how he would survive in the real world. Who would want to be with him? I mean seriously! He might be a great looking guy that happens to be a doctor, but that thunderhead hanging over him seems to be picking up steam as we move on. Poor Jack!

Something that stuck out with Jack's conversation toward the end with Kate was that Sawyer "chose" to stay on the island. It will be interesting to see how this all goes down. We know at this point who gets off and I am wondering how it came to be that some would be able to choose while others seem to have had their fate handed to them (e.g. I think that Jin is alive, but stuck on the island.)

One thing I thought was awesome last night was Jin catching "Red" listening into his Korean conversation with Sun. She is quite the mystery and even though I don't care as much about her story as that of other "boatie" Daniel, I still feel she is bringing something to the table on the show. We now know how Sun gets out of Lostville.

Overall I thought this was a great episode, and even though there might not have been a lot of answers, the feel of the story was right and the direction we seem to be headed looks to something that I will be happy with as long as......

....well, as long as they don't go back to the island and Kate gets with Sawyer and Jack goes back to Juliet! I soooooo know this is going to happen. My gut is telling me!

I forgot all about Jin and Charlotte!!!

I knew right away that she understood Korean! As soon as Sun answered Jin (about Daniel liking her) and she had that look of comprehension on her face, I knew she could understand them.

What deal did Jin make with her exactly? Mike came in the room at that point yammering on about something.... All I heard was Jin threaten Daniel's life and something about making sure that Sun got on the helicopter. I missed the wording though.

The cover story the Oceanic 6 (told in Kate's trial) leads you to believe that 2 people die, but now that I think of it, I think it was just a cover story to explain the existence of Claire's baby and Sun's pregnancy.

No real deal. Basically you got it all. He said, get Sun on the chopper or I'll cut off Daniel's fingers one by one.

It was great to see he could finally communicate with someone in his native language!

Re: Lost: Episode 410 - Something Nice Back Home

This episode was way better than the last one.

I'm also waiting for this jack/claire/kate stuff to clear up a bit. I don't think Claire will die. My only reason is because her death will make Charlie's in vain. Charlie died so that Claire could live, and I'm not too sure the show will turn away from that.

It's weird that Aaron is one of the 6. idk.

more info needed. MOREMOREMORE

im so cynical/selfish when it comes to this show lol
