| Private Practice: Season 2 - Discussion I still have this sitting on my DVR and I'm hedging toward delete. Has anyone seen the season premiere? Is it worth my time? As I mentioned last year, because Addison is a neo-natal surgeon, the focus skews toward maternity issues. For a single guy like myself, that isn't the most exciting of premises for a scripted drama. I am watching too many shows as it is so cutting this one seems to be a no-brainer, but will listen to what the community has to say before doing anything rash. |

| re: Private Practice: Season 2 - Discussion I think it's a well-scripted drama. But you're right with Naomi and Addison's specialties being in the fertility and neo-natal most storylines will run that way. The 2nd season premiere was not any different. Things are getting heated because Sam had to take some extreme measures with the management of the practice so I'm sure that their almost-reconciled marriage could be on the outs again. There is a lot of inter-office tension going on, so with that it's worth tuning in to see if you want to continue or not. Just my 2 cents. |

| Re: Private Practice: Season 2 - Episode D Wow, this episode was much better than I thought it would be. There were two very compelling ethical situations that had me intrigued and then when Sam took over the practice, I was shocked! Both Addison and Sam betrayed poor Naomi (not to mention Dale quit) - but she was definitively losing grip. All in all, there was plenty of substance and new paths being forged. To be honest, it was one of the better premieres this fall season. I'll tune in tonight and hope things keep getting ratcheted up. |

| Re: Private Practice: Season 2 - Episode D I'm glad you decided to watch. As for tonight's episode, I'm really having a hard time sympathizing with Naomi. Yeah, she was betrayed but she was sinking the ship ... they had to do something. I just think it stinks that she is willing to take the steps to make amends with Sam and is shutting out Addison. |

| Re: Private Practice: Discussion
Overall, a good episode. The incest storyline was a little out there but at least they are trying to offer interesting ethical dilemmas. The one thing I think they need to do is work on their "previews for next week." I am never interested in the next episode, but when I watch it I like it better than I thought I would (and the opposite is usually the case with most shows.) |

| Re: Private Practice: Season 2 - Discussio Addison is now head of the Practice? How can that even be an option? I'm still watching. This show is a good filler on Wednesday nights, although there is nothing about it that makes me jump for joy. |

| Re: Private Practice: Season 2 - Discussio This was a good episode...except that I missed the last three minutes because ABC seems to be still in the business of having a 3 minute over run and I had to DVR timers set for 10:00 (so I missed it.) I saw Naomi about to answer the door then... |
