Private Practice: Ep. 04 - In Which Addison Has a Very Casual Get Together

I am going to be honest and say that I only watched this week out of quasi obligation, being that no one else commented on the most recent episode.

I really get a good laugh out of Amy Brenneman's character Violette. She reminds me of a friend who is actually a social worker and looks similar to Violette. The other striking similarity beyond physical is the contagious "Nuts-O" personality that seems to be prevalent in that profession. I guess it is true that the reason people head into the psychiatric and psychological fields of study is to find out more about their own personal demons.

BTW: Violette is the quintessential stalker chick!

I totally called the kid getting beaten up for asking out the other guy on the playground right from the beginning of that scene. It was so obvious! Cooper kept saying, "She" and the kid kept saying "They" and I was like, "Gay!" - Duh!

Luckily Coop is the man and saved the day

Naomi is growing on me. I actually thought that she was funny this week, especially in dealing with Violette and the case of "To much sexitous." I still don't see her and Sam together. Now Sam jumping Addison's bones might work! Of course even in this modern day and age networks and television shows frown on interracial relationships when they can be avoided...

I just heard on E! that ABC has ordered a full season.

I called that the kid was gay too. Poor guy. Even at that young age he should have realized that the doc may have given him slightly different advice if he had all the details. I am glad that the friend felt bad about hitting him though.

I knew that the pregnant girl would have something medically wrong with her by the end. It's a shame that they never picked up her diagnosis before. I have a couple of friends with chrones disease.

I'm confused about Addison's eggs...but I'm not a doctor and I have no idea what any of that means. Two good eggs left...when did she have them tested? And wouldn't they be gone now if two cycles have past? Or did they harvest the eggs to test, and only two are good? This is confusing.

I have no idea how that works Kath, but what I do know is that she was tested last spring during the Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice crossover special and it was determined that there was really no chance of her having kids.
