| Private Practice: Ep. 02 - In Which Sam Receives an Unexpected Visitor... I don't have a lot to say about the second episode. Much like the first, I found the provided content to be mediocre at best. The whole story premise of a switched baby was more mortifying then heart string tugging, in my opinion......and the fact that all of the latter part of the episode was spent with weepy music and misty eyed characters just didn't do it for me. I understand this show is geared toward women, but so is Grey's Anatomy and they do it in a way as to not turn off the all men to the show. Yes, I'll watch again next week but it better get better. Random Side Note: There is no way that Dr Hottie would ever have married "Naomi." I just don't see it. |

| Re: Private Practice: Second Episode Don't feel bad Bacchus. I don't cry often but there are some guaranteed triggers for me. Anything to do with baby switches, or baby snatching is something that definitely is going to make me upset. Not that anything remotely has ever happened to me or someone I know. It's just a rooted fear a mother has or can empathize with no matter the age of her child. That scene when they were switching back the babies was very emotional and torturous to sit through. I couldn't help but think what is going to happen now. Will the mothers bond so that they could continue a relationship with the daughter they just gave up? Or will they go there separate ways for the sake of their sanity? I am hoping in a near future episode Noami will wake up and take responsibility for the break up of her marriage and stop being a jealous hag and open up to her husband. You know that there will be a reconciliation between the two, but I am already tired of her attitude. The case of the grandma poisoning her son to get him to stop drinking was a little whacked. If it were me, I'm not sure that I would have resolved it that way. I think I would have called the police. I mean really, allergic to alcohol???? |
