| Re: The Real World Awards Joey posted about the Real World Award on his Myspace Blog: Real World Awards Well let me start off saying that it was a very surreal moment to actually be talking and hanging out with people that not only I watched on television growing up, but also admired and had crushes on.
But I’m very honored and privileged to have been apart of the Real World Awards show and to have met so many wonderful people.
The house that we did the filming in was jaw dropping to say the very least. I can’t wait till I move to Cali boy, let me tell YA!
Some notable mentions out there that I met and REALLY HIT it off with were....... Mike "The Miz"Mizanin-Great guy, I talked with him a lot because he is a PRO WRESTLER(Something I had, at one time, had a dream to be, and I am a very very HUGE WRESTLING FAN, I have watched it since I was 5 years old and never really missed much of it since, WWF/WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA,ROH, etc.
Anyways, he gave me a lot of good advice and was a very stand up guy, very nice, very talkative and very charismatic.
To meet and share a moment with the W.W.E. Smackdown Tag Team champion was probably the highlight of my night! Landon leuck- really nice guy, probably one of the nicest guys I have ever met in my life, me and him talked a lot as well, I really enjoyed meeting him and thought to myself, I could see myself being friends with this guy even if you we did not have the whole "Real World" association going on. very very genuine and hope to hang with him again on another day. Jacquese Smith once again I hate to sound repetitive, but very very nice guy and Jacquese and I actually talked for a bout 45 minutes in the HOTEL lobby we were staying at. He gave me really good direction on the upcoming tours and how to weed out the B.S. that goes on with it. Also told me what to expect in the year to come. Awesome dude, we exchanged numbers and I told him if he ever needs a place to crash in CHI-TOWN, he’s gotta place! Melanie "Mel" Silcott The girl was just sweet as pie! She has to be one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I had a crush on her growing up so it was a bit overwhelming to be talking to her lol.
Also it was great seeing my cast mates again, that I truely love and appreciate all they have done for me. There isn’t a single one of them I wouldn’t TAKE A BULLET for!
Some others I met personally include, Ace, Teck, Tyrie,Jenn, Shauvon, they were all really nice and I wish I would have got to talk to them more. but I am sure I will.
All in all in was a great weekend in Hollywood and I can’t wait to see The Real World Alumni once again! | |
