It was alright. Danny and Melinda really annoyed me though.

Re: The Real World: Austin

The virgin annoys me and so does Opie. Danny was looking for trouble, and I guess he found it. That boy shattered like a cheap figurine. Melinda has some nice legs. I like how she's so confident about her body even though she's sort of big-boned.
That was messed up how the guys in the club started hassling Nehemiah when he was the one getting attacked by Johanna. And then Glass Danny had the nerve to get mad at him, too, because he got in a fight while he was looking for him. I hope people will start leaving poor Nehemiah alone. He is like the Charlie Brown of RW: Austin.

HAHA. nice summation.

i'd forgotten all about those shenanigans. yeah, they weren't too cool to nehemiah. i don't remember too much about that season except that danny+melinda were an annoying pair & that danny was possibly the douchebaggiest of douchebags i've ever actually bothered to watch on tv (at the time, that is. greg blew him out of the water.) god was he dense on that show. i wonder if he is that much of a meathead irl or if it was just played way up in editing.

melinda = big-boned? are you thinking of rachel?

which one was the virgin?

As a retired military officer who has been treated by medical professionals in three combat zones in my lifetime, I beg to differ with your view that Rachel was not a "soldier." "Technically" she was, as defined by the United States Army, the only definition that counts in my book. There is a sadly long list of purple heart winners and fallen heroes who were nurses and other medical professionals. I honor her service to her country, as much as I, to this day, do not find her portrayal on Austin worthy of much attention.

Please note I have never lived in the United States, so thank you for the clarification and I now understand why she must have been upset.

I think Austin was my 18th Favorite season ever. I couldn't understand the accents in London and slept through Paris...
