Eric N. use to be so hot. What the ***k happened? And what has Andre been doing?

It was from "The RWNO You Never Saw." I heard a rumor their scenes were cut from the actual show because Shorty and Mercy kept talking to the cameras. I have no clue what the truth about that is.

I think Eric really just has a lot of issues. If you read the blurb from his 2001 update I posted upthread, it said that he was going to commit suicide by slitting his wrists, but a message from above [me paraphrasing] stopped him. I think he's now on "a path of enlightenment." Eric was sensitive back on RW, but he was never this issue-laden.

But I think he works with a youth-empowerment program now, which is a plus, so I can't knock him for that.

And Andre? I actually found he has updated photos on his IAmOnMTV page:

The other season 1 pages there weren't created by the actual cast, but probably by interns who work for MTV. The only picture for Julie's is the same one I'm using here (which was easily found online) and only mentions her first son, and the photo for Heather's is pretty old. That actually goes for a lot of the older RW casts---the photo used for Rebecca from Seattle was that of porn star Rebecca Lord, not Rebecca Lord from RW. Those interns did not do their research.

And another thing about Andre's IAmOnMTV page (a few posts up): He actually responds. So if anyone's interested, drop him a line.

So let me correct myself: only Julie, Norm and Heather haven't been public in the past few years. Heather has to have something going on. I can't imagine someone as live as Heather going back into obscurity. (Norm either, actually.)

I'll try looking again for stuff on them later tonight. (Don't bother searching for Julie stuff---there's nothing current about her beyond "The Wedding Video.")

Eric has has his act together for at least three years. That's how long I've been getting regular emails from him with lots of New Age stuff. Lots of tree-hugging, earth-loving stuff.

Someone actually asked that on Andre's IAmOnMTV page and he answered. He said he had a gig that conflicted with it. (I believe him, but in all honesty, who in their right mind would've attended that holy hot mess?!)

Now, I said I'd try to find current info on Heather, because I couldn't believe that she'd just drop off the face of the earth. I found this video clip of her on Jamie Kennedy's "Blowin' Up" (from '06) where they're out eating sushi and she's giving them advice on how to get an album produced. (You may have to sit through Jamie's bad "Malibu's Most Wanted" schtick before you get to the actual clip of him and Heather.)

All this research I've been doing these past few days has made me really nostalgic. I don't care if it hasn't been exactly 20 years since the first season aired, I want to see all seven of them reunited now! Why can't they do like Vegas did? Granted they can't take two weeks out of their lives, but just for a weekend at least, or updates on MTV---dag.
