haha no, I doubt that that needs a spoiler warning anymore. And I'm still just blown away that things went down like that - there were 49 of us who would have been so grateful to have his spot... ah well, what can you do? (Aside from talk about him on a message board, haahha)

It was a lot of PR work, that's for sure! I must have pulled in favors from everyone I ever knew... ever. And they talked to a lot of people, who in turn talked to a lot of people.... it was nuts

I am sure MTV is either regretting casting him, or loving it, there doesn't seem to be an in between with this guy.

I agree- the best way will be to see what kind of edit he gets on the show... if he's a "villain" then I'd venture to guess production isn't looking too fondly on Greg these days...

My money is on the "asshat edit" for Greg. When it comes to the point of getting fired (from the show) you had to have pissed just about everyone off.

Just to share a bit of what I recently heard:

BMP cast 7 house guests prior to the results of the realworldcasting.com online competition being known. When Greg Halstead won, he was guaranteed a spot (pending the passing of a drug and background check.) Nick Brown was chosen to be replaced because he and Greg were "similar" (male, model, black.)

I guess MTV got what they deserved by tossing out hard nosed casting decisions (and using a gimmick) as Greg turned out to be an unmitigated disaster!
