Isn't this the same group who, in the very first pic discovered, said that all these people were "plain" and "different" and "not typical real world cast". And now, they are "models" and "famewhores"?! I seem to remember another poster here saying...."hey lets not judge them yet, it's just one picture...." ![]() Just sayin'! |

Maybe it will be the most shocking season ever. Maybe it will bring life back to Real World and replace some of the other guilty pleasures that have taken over the forefront as of late. Also, I don't know about other ladies but I never found man a$$ to be enticing.... Man crack.... *shivers* |

OK, if that is what you think, but I'm old-school (or just old) and find that exocentric compound word (famewhore) just a little offensive. Having worked in and around all aspects of the business (i.e., news and entertainment, both scripted and "reality"), I've never really seen much difference at the motivational level for why people want to be on camera. Every casting sheet that I've used told me exactly the character the producers were seeking. Given that this season's guidance was to find X strangers who were involved in organizations or causes and whose outgoing personalities would both clash and yet fit together in some noteable homogeneity, the tone of the interview you experienced in not unusual. (The general guidance is "No more Lacey's -- she's a wonderful person, but simply not good, sustainable television). |
