Maybe Nick can answer this for us, but I was given the impression that the cast was told to stay in Hollywood and not venture out (unless for very specific reasons.)
Unless they go on a trip I agree that they should stay in the general area instead of spreading out to places that aren't even remotely connected. The place looks nice where they are staying and after this season I do have high hopes. And yes Nick grant us your wisdom. As for driving I'd be that cast member who never drove and made others drive for me.

I didn't get to see much of Brooklyn from my travels to NYC, but the little part of it I did venture out to (Myrtle Ave. strip) was nice. I'll definitely check more of it out in the future.

I don't want RW21 to jet to Manhattan on every occasion (a lot of it is a tourist trap), but I would like to see the other boroughs as well. I believe the original seven made trips to Brooklyn, Staten Island and other places during their stay.

To get to the Belltell lofts you take the A/C/F train to Jay Street. I live really close by and go to bars that season 21-ers will probably visit, if not frequent. If they're looking for clubs, they'll have to go in to manhattan, but if it's a group who like the mellow brooklyn vibe (sort of like the Phila crew) i'm sure i'll be seeing these guys around. But of course there will be twerpy kids from god know where and will want the manhattan experience. HOWEVER, if they are the civic-minded group that press releases indicate, they might see that Brooklyn is WAYYYYYY cooler than the tourist and traffic snarled bigger city.

In their defense, Philadelphia doesn't exactly lend itself to a lot of excitement. I think the location is just as much a character as the cast members. But being from Phila, it was nice to see them visit my old haunts. Especially that one girl who always went off to the irish bar by herself. but where's the story there?
