| Dirty Sexy Money: Ep. 06 - The Game When I first started watching this series I did not think that the dramatic parts would be very intriguing and just assumed that 99% of the show would be loose comedy. I am quite happy that instead we are seeing good mix of both comedy and drama. Donald Sutherland (Tripp)brings so much to the table when you cast him in a series.
I was totally shocked that Nick told Tripp about the plan with Simon Elder, although I am happy he did. I was getting a bad feeling about Nick going against the family as Tripp really seems to be a nice guy. Actually it is hard to see where the kids came from with a man like Tripp as the father! I guess when you are dealing with that much money and someone who likes to spoil, there is no hope of normalcy.
What is up with Patrick now dealing with Elder? Sounds like the ultimate betrayal. It is understandable that he is angry with his father for meddling, but dad is right in this case. A married man running for Senate should not be with a transvestite. It is just not good politics.
I think it is becoming more and more obvious that Simon Elder is in fact a very bad man - as was initially assumed by Nick. I have a feeling in the next few episodes we are going to see more of this dark side and maybe a little more light will fall on the mystery of Dutch's death and Elders involvement. |
