Perhaps because most of us are BoSox fans so the Yankees losing is the biggest deal. However, I lived in St. Louis for 7 years (longer than anywhere else in my life) so I consider the Cards my NL team and I'll be rooting for them and continuing to watch every game.

I'm so glad that my Tigers came through and trounced the Yankees. Fantastic job. I was really hoping to see the Giants make the World Series, but that's looking less and less realistic.

I've been watching TBS, and TBS doesn't talk about anyone but the Yankees. When they had the delay for game 4, they showed all Seinfeld episodes with George and the Yankees. It wasn't about how the Tigers won - it was about how the Yankees lost.

I am so glad we beat them. But now people are going to start talking about what the Yankees are going to do in the offseason.

I can't wait to see the ratings when the World Series inevitably ends up being between the teams with the 9th and 10th best records in the playoffs
