I had actually forgotten that he started off on RR: Viewer's Revenge as one of the road crew competitors which make this his 3rd time competing on MTV.

Based on the Wiki page about RR Viewers Revenge he was a reservist who went to Iraq and got out in 2004 so that must have been his only deployment as it is unlikely that a reservist would have done two full deployments in three or 4 years of service. Not sure where the Afghanistan confusion arose.

Thanks SeanDaniel I will make sure to ask him on Monday about all this I too remember hearing on VR that he was in Afghanistan not Iraq.
